I travel very often by ferry, so it’s not easy to impress me. However, I have to say my last journey with them was really good. The ferry was very clean, the staff were extremely helpful, and the food choices were brilliant. The seats were comfortable, and there was lots to choose from. I was also able to change my travel time with a flexible ticket on short notice for a later trip. You will see me again.

First of all we had to wait in the ferry for 2 hours , which result in us arrving late for the destination so overall the experience was bad and would this happen again on my back to Dunkirk
Super super super
After the pandemic the prices are a bit higher still better than Le Shuttle - Train
Overpriced summer deals with half empty ferries. Overall no complaints but prices could be more reasonable.
All perfect as usual, but you may want to consider a little bit change of your meals. They stay the same last 10 years
Thank you!
A marvelous adventure!
Staff were fantastic in the Premium Lounge. Definitely the main reason I would use again.
Everything ok
I am satisfied
Am not sure how lanes are given , would have thought first come gets priority but we were scheduled for a 12 pm ferry and we arrived at 11.09 where the check in guys gave me a ferry for 2 pm citing that I might not make it to the 12 pm because of the big line , eventually we did make it T 11.50 and inspire of a request that Inhad 85 and 80 year old parents was not allowed on the 12 pm ferry . Since now we were second in the queue for the 2 pm ferry we only boarded after two or three other lines were allowed before us
Perfect !!
We were happy to get the 6 o' clock ferry as we arrived 140 minutes earlier for the 8 o'clock ferry. This was a good service.
The port of Calais at the moment is in chaos and offers terrible service so this time I decided to use DFDS from Dunkirk. The port area was practically deserted -( mid Afternoon on a Saturday). Book-in was efficient, having allowed loads of time to get through passport and customs, we arrived early enough to be offered an earlier sailing. French Customs control was quick - and French manned followed by UK Passport Control then UK Customs which was manned by French Serco employees. Seems like duplication for no benefit. The Ferry wasn't exactly modern but we loaded on time, left on time and arrived in Dover on time. All of which beats our last very poor experience with P&O which was badly organised and an hour late. So, if you aren't looking for fancy bling and want just a reliable boat service try Dunkirk rather than Calais. And for those coming from Germany it's 40 km shorter distance to get to the ports. Travel time is 2hrs - so about 30mins longer than the Calais route but that makes little difference if the Calais route is running late and its present disorganised mess.
We were told to use the green stairs. But unfortunatly in the upper stocks the doors, which are locking the stairs, wether weren't painted green nor were signed as green stairs! As this is a major safty issue in an emergency, responseable Managers should act NOW !!
