Not enough check in staff so after long queues through passport control there were long queues for check in despite arriving in plenty of time. The other operators had no huge check in queues.

Seemed to leave early, arrive early, embarkation and disembarkation very quick. Half the price eurotunnel wanted. Very impressed. I’m not paying an extra £250 to save an hour with your rivals. Now you just need to focus on some sky sports for the blokes and we’ll choose to spend an extra hour with you! Or possibly some French scene setting…a promo film for an hour. I’m writing a book on wine tourism in France…happy to contribute a section on food and wine!

If you are not pushed for time for your holiday the ferry makes sense.

Went on an older boat and it was not as good as the other boat toilets were very poor in club class food was a let down. If thing with prices and quality don’t change with Irish ferries we will go back to using p&o ferry’s I should ask for a refund the crossing was very poor .

I have been using ferries regularly for many years and have traveled on nearly all of them. However, my experience yesterday was absolutely shocking. As soon as we stepped out of our car, the smell on the ferry was unbearable — I could hardly stand it. The ship was visibly dirty, with grime covering the windows and other surfaces, making the entire environment unpleasant and unsanitary. I understand that older ships may have their limitations, but this level of neglect is unacceptable. Passengers deserve a clean and safe environment, especially when paying for the service. I hope the ferry operators take immediate action to improve cleanliness and maintenance, as this experience was far below any reasonable standard.
