My family traveled on the ferry and really found it to be quite a fantastic experience, there is something visceral about taking the boat to France that you don't get from other transportation options. I did have a problem booking on the P&O website though, it wouldn't accept the birthdays no matter what I tried to enter. Had to use a third party site to book travel.
Pleasant experience and I’m travelling again next week and week after and will use same crossings.

Pet lounge was very clean and tidy with free coffee, tea and soft drinks.

Excellent service
I was the last vehicle to cross the check in , we had almost 20 minutes and the staff has to swap me to the following ship . Even though we had the chance to send me as last vehicle. On board I been to the quiet room to sleep , some irrespected school kids were there and never let anyone to sleep , we raised few times to be quiet but they kept disturbing others by chit chatting whole journey. Even the staff can hear and see via Cameras no one came there . It was unpleasant journey .
Queuing at the port of Dover is a disgrace. Stuck for two hours nearly missing ferry although I was there more that two hours ahead! moving one car every 10 MNS, parked in lanes like cattle and no toilets in sight. Completely inadequate and simply appalling
