Absolutely appalling company. Do not book through them. They canceled our booking without permission and we have tried multiple times to sort it without any response. We have lost 1000s of dollars due to their mistake. We are very unhappy and do not recommend at all.

Agoda let me book a room at a hotel which was fully booked. And then cancelled my room a few hours before I landed in Skopje, blaming it on the hotel. But I saw messages the hotel sent them telling them they had no rooms, days before. Agoda offered me a 12 USD voucher but only if I booked another room with them. Being so last minute it was much more expensive so the voucher was ridiculous.

I booked a standard double room at a nice hotel in speeden via agoda.com. On the hotels HomePage I checked the facilities of the room and was happy about that. When I afrives an Got my room I was dissapointet. When I ordered I made sure I Got a room with Windows (checked on the hotels homepage) and it corresponded with the reservation information. But the room I Got did not have and windows. The reservation confirmation agoda sent to the hotel specified that the room was without window. Which is a cheeper room than I paid Agoda for. Trying to contact Agoda is impossible, I only get to Write to their AI assistent and g’et the same answer every time: contact the hotel, but it is not the hotel who made a failure. It is Agoda who is making more money by Selling a cheaper room by renaming it to a better more expensive room When I booked it. But When I checked in I Got the cheeper room and had to pay extra to get the room I originally ordered and Payed Agoda for.

I have used this site many times and it does come up with some very good bargains.
The worst company for customer service ever, I spend about 75% of my life in hotels and spend £1000's with Agoda. When they couldn't fix an issue that they caused and after many messages often having to repeat myself they offered me £6 as a discount. Rude and avoided answering questions I asked.
Update:- Agoda sent a generic Link to their customer service on WhatsApp as other link didn't work, I left a note on there with no reply. Avoid this company like the plague, there are better options out there

Do not use!!! I booked through Agoda and had to make amendments to my stay. Agoda stated I have to contact the hotel to do this. The hotel stated I had to contact Agoda. They will steal your money.

I had a terrible experience with this property, I booked hotel through Agoda and after booking and paid found out that hotel was not as described even can see so many bad reviews on Google maps . I contact Agoda service to take any responsibility for that . Their responsibility is zero , they don’t even communicate and solve my problem. I won’t use Agoda again in my life , how can they accept that kind of scam hotel in their website and don’t give any responsibility to customers in the world of hotel and tourism service !!!

The worse customer care ever!
I claimed a Best price guarantee case, cause i thought they must have BPG since they are advertising with it, the hotel was booked 1-2hours before departure, we were 5x families booking the same hotel separately, they all got it more than 200USD cheaper, from other sites, than my booking from Agoda. I claimed it directly and asked for BPG, before check-in at the hotel. Now more than 10 days later NOTHING had happend, they keep rejecting it even after recieving all the required documents/payment-details/screenshots etc.
Every time a new agent reply,- I’ve asked for a manager/supervisor to contact me and they agree but still no call, more than 10days with mail ’on and off’ and my BPG-claim still not solved.
DONT BELIEVE THEIR BEST PRICE GUARANTEE, THEY ARE THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND THE BPG- IS A SCAM.
It was my first time booking from them, and Will be the last if they didn’t pay me back the difference…. Just want you all to be aware…

Do not trust what is written on Agoda. I booked a hotel that stated that they had a gym inside. When I arrived, they said they did not have one. Agoda did not help me in any way and still let those hotels with false marketing on their platform.

I found a Agoda whilst travelling Thailand. I found it a very very good app. I have previously used Booking.com and Expedia et cetera, and this easily comes up as good if not better than those.
Agoda ignoring War & Force Majeure - Shameful behavior toward a UK loyal customer
I am a loyal, long-term Agoda customer based in the UK (Booking ID: 630610555). My recent experience has been horrifying. I was trapped in a conflict zone with closed air borders—a textbook case of Force Majeure. While airlines and other providers acted humanely, Agoda is hiding behind 'hotel policies' to profit from a global crisis.
I have spent weeks trying to reach a human manager, only to be met with robotic, scripted replies. Since Agoda refuses to act ethically or recognize international law regarding the legal impossibility of travel, I am now reporting this case to the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Trading Standards for a formal investigation into a breach of consumer rights. I will not stop until this injustice is resolved. Disgraceful and heartless service
