AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! The software did not work and efforts to contact customer service are useless. Stay Away - Stay Away!!!!

I purchased the Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate... After a trial period, I received a promo message on my PC screen(not a text, not an email). I paid for the program. Instantly, got an email from my bank about suspicious charges. I was charged first from some company in Hong Kong, then another charge, simultaneously, for almost the same amount from some other Asian country(don't remember which). My bank fixed that.

After a rough start with the program, I contacted Support(tried to) about some program questions and about the double billing. Took about 5 attempts and several weeks to get a response, and the double billing was never addressed.

Initially, the program worked fine. Ripped DVDs, no problem, until the program updates started. With each update(each promising smaller file size), the program got slower and slower. At one time I could convert a 5 gb movie in just over 13 minutes; now(and with a brand new computer), it takes over 30!!!

In the past, I used Mp3Rocket for video downloads and convert to audio(apparently, it is no longer functioning. Try to download now and you'll get a virus warning.); so I tried Aimersoft's download function. Not only will it do more than just YouTube(though not some sites it says it will), it is relatively quick. My problem with this function is that it will not allow you to name the directory in which to store the downloads(which it will do in the DVD conversion program)!!!

So, I have a mixed review... But, customer service has proven to be an absolute joke(and if they're monitoring these posts, it will probably only get worse)!!!

Tried using their iTube Downloader product and it attempted to install a malicious Chrome extension called TamperMonkey. Fortunately, I installed this in a virtualized environment as a test first.

Do not install any of their products or you're just asking for trouble.

This might work for somethings but not DMR removal on audio files and the company knows it. I was removing DMR and converting my audio files to Mp3 format. I bought this program because of it's claims and it's ratings. I spent hours comparing different products. I picked it because It's what I wanted. Now that they've got my money I'm supposed to get something I wouldn't have bought in the first place? I don't want a refund, I want it to work as advertised.

I purchased Aimersoft Video Converter Ultimate simply to remove DRM from a few videos. IT DOESNT WORK AT ALL.!!!!! Didn't even read or recognise the videos.
I sent THREE emails to the company with pictures showing the problem one online and two via their email address.
NOTHING. Automated response saying we'll get back to you but absolutely nothing from them.
Wish I had read reviews on here first.
Take my advice.
AVOID AIMERSOFT LIKE THE PLAGUE. THIS COMPANY SUCKS BIG TIME...!!!!!!! Software is Useless. Support is NON existent...

Additional: About a month later.
As I said before, Not one single acknowledgment from Aimersoft. However I was billed through SWReg and I contacted them. First they forwarded my email to Aimersoft which again was totally ignored. So again I contacted SWReg. After a few days I was informed that my refund had been sent to my account.
Assuming that is correct, This post ends here.
It seems to me that SWReg are a professional and reliable firm. But be warned. ANYTHING Aimersoft is not worth the time or effort. You will only be ignored and their software doesn't do what is advertised. For me that was DRM removal.

Aimersoft youTube downloader, DVD creator and video editor converter stopped working after the first Safari update. Tried it with Crome also but to no avail. I feel I have to agree with those who feel it's a rip-off. Simply an utter and complete waste of money.

Bought the product and never received a key or was able to get it working. This company is a scam. DON'T BUY. Customer service will not respond. You will just be throwing your money down the drain.

I have aimersoft dvd creator and they are worthless when it comes to responding via customer svc....I shoulda known not to purchase from them when I had an inquiry BEFORE buying their product but I took the chance and purchased it anyways and now that I have finally used it my vids are lost mystically and cant be found so tried reaching out through customer svc webpage and guess what??!! dysfunctional like it was the very first time I had an inquiry prior to buying the dvd creator; I have emailed them with the email address they have on their page and still no response..they are a RIP OFF!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!

I Have a youtube downloader that it was working before the last update from google to his websites and now doesn't download, I have been contacting customer service for 5 times already always answering the same response.

No matter what I type it is always the same response of course they did not gave me a free license nor they willing to do so I even asked them for a discount to purchase a new software for my needs and guess what same response and you can't even rate the service, it always occur an error when you're submitting your rate.

Stay away from this company Customer Service is nonexistent.

While far from perfect, I'd used iTube Studio for several years. Now, their
Safari plugin is no longer supported. I contacted Aimersoft and they said they have NO plans to fix the problem or make it compliant. This makes using the product an onerous mess to use. I'm done with it and looking elsewhere for a video download product with better dedication to its customers.

I bought a software and wanted to use the promised 30 days money back since I found an easier solution for my usecase. I am waiting for any feedback from that company for days... no responses, customer service is not existent. I never buy anything from them again, since I cannot trust them.

This is the worst customer service I have ever had. First, they send me a Windows file instead of a Mac file to download the premium version of iMusic that I paid for. 24 hours later, they respond, asking what the problem is, that they don't understand. I tell them again, but their website keeps giving me errors when I try to submit my comments. After some more back & forth, they send me another URL and registration code, but the code doesn't work. Then they ask, twice, for a screen shot of my registration. I have still not been able to use the app that I paid for. I am so aggravated with this company.

I have read the negative reviews here. To my, the product I purchased, Video Converter Ultimate, is the best video converter on the market. It does so much, is very fast, and has many, many options. You can automatically retrieve your license if you lose it. It has hardware acceleration. It is my go-to program to rip DVDs. Years ago when I did an upgrade to Ultimate from non-ultimate, I contacted support about their upgrade price, and they made me a special deal for around a $6 upgrade.

This company is untrustworthy. If you try to contact them for any reason expect no response. They do not issue refunds even if they qualify. Stay clear. Just look at one of their many social media accounts to see that countless other people say the same things.

Ripoff Alert DO NOT waste your money with this company. Support is horrible. Online inquiries lead to attempts to sell you more products. Email and other attempts to contact the company were futile.

Bought some software from this company but it turns out the reason I purchased it became redundant almost as soon as I had!

I have tried to contact them five times to request a refund with absolutely no response. This is poor and I will be reporting them to trading standards and asking my bank to reclaim the money. This does not seem like a proper response from a genuine company, and it seems I am not the only person to experience this. Shameful.

I bought iTube Studio for Mac from this company. And about two weeks after buying the software, fraudulent charges began appearing on my credit card. This company is based in the Netherlands. I have had one other credit card fraud charge, it was when I rented a B&B in Italy a couple years back. Sadly, I am beginning to think that giving anyone in Europe or Asia my credit card info involves huge risk - so I won't do it anymore.

I have a horrible feeling I've been scammed.

I purchased Video Converter to convert one DVD a while back; now when I use application it no longer performs DVD Conversion, instead it demands upgrade to 'Ultimate'at cost of $69. I have several emails to Aimersoft, while all emails have been responded to, my specific question: why does application no longer function, has not been answered. It used to work fine, alas my experience of Aimersoft product is it has poor longevity of application use; a non-functional application is worthless, regrettably that’s exactly what I paid for and am left with.

Oh, how I wish it was possible to leave zero stars. BEWARE..this is a rogue company that sells software that is intentionally designed to stop working. There is no customer service. It's a sham. The only US customer service phone number connects you with an immigration office in California. Please file a complaint with the FTC and get these theive's off the Internet. They take your money, the product works for a couple of days and then stops working permanently. Thousands of people have left their comments online about them and they are all saying that exact same thing.
