Terrible experience of Airblue duty managers
We had terrible experience of Airblue Abu Dhabi to Islamabad on 13th April,2026.
Both Airblue duty managers having terrible attitude and dealt with family absolutely unprofessionally. It was requested family is having health issues but managers didn't care and kept them standing and dealt with rude behaviour regarding access luggage.
Even it was registered complain to Airblue head office but did not get any honest response and they stopped replying email.

Today I went to the Airblue office in Dubai, which is located in Deira, to reschedule my flight. The girl sitting at the reception was so rude—I never expected such behavior. I don’t understand why we Pakistanis treat our own people this way. When we meet people of other nationalities, it feels good—they treat us with so much kindness. But today I felt really hurt.
Please teach your staff how to talk to customers and how they should behave. If we are traveling with your airline, we are paying for it, and in return, we deserve respect—not to be looked down upon

I have been a regular customer of Airblue for the past 3.5 years, which is why this experience is particularly disappointing.
I booked my ticket in advance at a lower fare, as many travelers do. However, following the recent regional situation, my flight was suddenly cancelled.
At the same time, I can still see flights operating on the same dates I originally booked, now at significantly higher prices. This raises serious concerns about fairness and transparency in how bookings are being handled.
Additionally, I attempted to process a refund through both the website and mobile application, but the system repeatedly failed with errors. This made the situation even more frustrating, as there was no alternative support provided.
As a long-time customer, I expected better communication, reliability, and customer care. Unfortunately, this experience has reduced my trust in Airblue, and I will be reconsidering my future travel choices.

Such a worst experience with airblue, my flight was on morning of 1st march, at 5:10am. But it got cancelled because of air space closure. Since that day i am visiting airblue ofc every second day to rebook my ticket. It got rebooked first time. But it was cancelled again. When i went second time to rebook the ticket on 4th march the lady there told me that they are no rebooking any more, clearly she was lying because i went again on 5th march which was yesterday and they told me that all of their seats are fully booked so they can't rebook. How come it's fully booked when you are not rebooking. Also when i checked online on their website, there were seats available for the same day for which i was asking for them to rebook my ticket and that ticket they are selling forore then 3000 Aed. My ticket was cancelled on the very first day after airspace closure and still i am in UAE. Inspite of giving priority to the people whom flights were booked earlier, they are selling their tickets on higher prices and telling existing customers that seats are full. Just learn something from Emirates and flydubai or any other UAE flight, they are giving priority to the the people whose flights were booked earlier. If my flight was of Emirates or air arabia or flydubai. I would have been in Pakistan by now. Your airline has made my vacation worst

Review of Airblue – Dubai to Islamabad – 08/02/2026
I am writing this review based on my personal experience flying with Airblue from Dubai to Islamabad on 08/02/2026.
After receiving my boarding pass, I proceeded to the security queue to scan my handbag. At that point, a manager approached me and asked to see my return ticket. I explained that I was returning with a different airline (Emirates) and that my son had the return ticket details, as the ticket was a gift.
The manager took my passport and informed me that I would not be allowed to travel without a return ticket. I tried to explain the situation and asked him to speak with my son, but he refused. I also suggested that he contact Emirates Airline directly to verify my booking, but he declined.
He stated, “French passport with visa and no return ticket — I will not let you fly.”
I became extremely distressed and called my son, who immediately contacted Emirates. Within five minutes, Emirates emailed my return ticket confirmation. I showed this to the manager. He then said that the reason he had recalled me was that he needed three passenger seats, which was confusing and inconsistent with his previous explanation.
No apology was offered. He later approached me again, but by then I was already in tears and felt deeply embarrassed by the way I was treated in front of his colleagues, who were observing the situation as if I had done something wrong.
On board, I was seated in 36F. A passenger seated at 37A (wearing beige shalwar) was consuming alcohol and smoking on the plane. After several warnings and checking of his boarding pass and passport, he was eventually moved to the front of the aircraft at approximately 19:28.
The lavatory was not clean and had a strong unpleasant smell.
I was also concerned about the lack of strict action regarding the passenger in seat 37A, given the seriousness of smoking onboard.
Overall, my experience was extremely stressful. The manager’s behavior was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking in basic courtesy. I felt unheard and disrespected.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend Airblue. While the ticket price may be lower, professionalism, safety standards, and respectful customer treatment are far more important.

I booked return ticket from dxb to multan, guess what flight from dubai got delayes 6 hours not because of weather but because of less passengers on board and on the way back flight was again delayed 3 hours, on my way to airport i got the email of delaying, so i was relaxed and was just 10 mins late from their check in time and guess what i had to pay for next day flight. Flights Cancelled and delay, overbooked
I came from Los Angeles to attend the wedding in Lahore. I landed in karachi to do some business and my flight was on 19th December at night (8:15 pm) and wedding was on 20th December at 1:00 pm. Air Blue cancelled the flight and gave no option to us.. So we missed the wedding in Lahore. They gave us another flight on 21st December at 1:15 pm .. we were on our way to airport, they informed us again, your flight delayed for 10:15 pm, later changed to 11:15 pm and telling us, this might cancelled again
We missed wedding, now we are missing Walima. Came all the way down from U.S.A to go thru with this crap ... Very Unprofessional

Airblue is the worst airline I have ever traveled with. I strongly advise against booking Airblue flights, especially through the MakeMyTrip website.
During one international trip, my flight was delayed by 6 hours, and I did not receive any notification, no email, no call, and no message from either Airblue or MakeMyTrip regarding the delay or rescheduling.
On my return journey to Dubai , the situation was even worse. After completing immigration, we were forced to wait at the airport for 24 hours due to a delay. There was no clear information provided about the new departure time. The staff only kept saying, “Stay here, we will update you,” but no proper updates were given.
The food quality was terrible. After a 6-hour delay, they served the same food, which had a bad smell and was clearly not fresh.
The cabin crew and ground staff were unprofessional and poorly trained. When passengers asked questions or requested assistance, the crew responded rudely and aggressively, almost as if they were arguing.
This has been my worst travel experience in 10 years. I will never travel with Airblue again and do not recommend it to anyone.
Unfair Waiting List Process and Poor Handling at Airblue Counter
I recently booked an Airblue ticket in an emergency, and the ticket showed “waiting list.” I reached the jeddah airport and ended up waiting 14 hours for confirmation, assuming there would be a fair merit-based process for passengers on the waiting list.
When I asked the airport counter staff about the procedure, I was told to wait until checked-in passengers were cleared. Later, when more than 70% of the queue had been processed, I was informed that two people were ahead of me and one was behind me in the waiting list. I was asked to wait another half hour.
During this time, I spoke with other waiting passengers and discovered that most of them had booked their tickets after me, yet were still being considered. The staff insisted that I should have been standing directly in front of the counter from the beginning in order to be “noticed,” which makes no sense since the airline already had my booking and payment in the system.
Eventually, I was told there were two seats available but they would be given to the people “ahead of me,” even though one of those passengers came to the counter after me. In the end, I had to book another ticket, and Airblue kept my payment until I requested a refund.
My Questions to Airblue:
Why should a paying passenger have to stand in front of the counter for hours just to be noticed? If my booking is in the system, the airline should inform me automatically about seat availability.
If the flight was full, why was my money taken and held? For anyone traveling on a limited budget, this is an unfair and stressful experience.
Why was a seat given to someone who approached the counter after me, even though I booked earlier and waited much longer?
This experience was extremely disappointing and felt unfair. I hope Airblue improves its waiting list transparency, refund policies, and staff communication so other passengers do not go through the same situation.
Misguided and missed flight due to staff negligence
My father a diabetic patient was accidentally injured and he had to travel for further treatment as he was more comfortable back home than here. We arrived at hospital 2 hours before the flight takeoff. After a long wait of 15 mins in the queue this specific supervisor who's name I don't remember tells me upon request of wheelchair that the person has to be infront of our eyes how do I know if you are telling the truth. Upon further request he asked me to approach airport wheel chair service. After bringing him to the counter imagine the bomb they dropped the boarding is closed. Amazing service and the supervisor no where to be found. The made me go from one person to another pleading them to somehow help me out. No matter what they didn't change the decision and cherry on top they are asking us to show proof on injury if he requires wheel chair and then get doctors statement that he's fit to travel alone. In that excruciating moment they were asking stupid details. I had to pay the fine, extra ticket difference fare. But I appreciate one sensible person named Sohail who apologized and assisted us on next day. Yet I am disappointed with the other supervisor present on 21st of November 2025 on Dubai international Airport terminal 1 with flight take off at 5.15pm. I believe people in the front line are supposed to help, assist, guide and behave respectfully instead of making the situation worse. I just request air blue management to rereview your front liners as they are your face infront of your customers who put their trust in you and choose to fly with the airline.
