flight calculator

Got a flight calculator sent me a broken one sent it back 6 months ago still waiting for them to sort it out. I’m 100% sure I got scammed I even paid for shipping to send back. Should have read the reviews first

Pricing did not match billing!

I bought some Bose X Foam Ear Seals from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty at Oshkosh. The sales person told me they were $19.95 which was clearly marked on the box in large letters. I was surprised to see my credit card statement billed for $30.07. I called and spoke to someone 2 weeks ago who said they'd put in a credit for the mistake. It never happened. I filled out an on line form for their customer service and never got a response. I now have to contest this charge. I am very disappointed with their honesty and lack of customer service and at this point would have to recommend you shop elsewhere.

Shipping costs make little sense for smaller items

I order a pretty substantial amount from Aircraft Spruce and, for the most part, the experience is good. Good prices, orders filled accurately and shipped quickly. I have no idea what algorithm they use to calculate shipping costs, however. I order a lot of fasteners, electronic components, gaskets, and other small parts that show up mostly in padded envelopes. The shipping charge seems not to be based on size or weight, rather on some combination that includes the price of the item shipped. This results in wacky shipping prices to me that often keep me from ordering if I can source locally. I'd much prefer my time spent working on aircraft rather than driving around town to buy parts. If Aircraft Spruce had better shipping price calculations, I'd order a lot more.

Their customer service has gone to zero

Their customer service has gone to zero. Unless you buy only stock items, coordinating out of stock deliveries with stock deliveries to consolidate in one shipment (to Europe) is impossible, and they don`t really seem to care. I have built 2 airplanes and bought thousands of dollars worth of stuff from them but I have decided to go elsewhere. They don´t make anything, they resell goods from other manufacturerers. Being able to buy many things in one place is a convienience, but not if I have to put up with poor customer service. Then I prefer to buy from the manufacturer, who normally goes out of his way to satisfy a customer.

Customer service is lacking!

Customer service is lacking!! I ordered item in June 2020, understood that they were going to be long lead due to Covid and wouldn't arrive until September. September came, items delayed a few times until I finally cancelled the order in October and expected a refund. Due to a fraud event unrelated to Aircraft Spruce, I had changed my credit card number and the refund did not automatically go back on the credit card. I have now talked with representatives at least 5 times and am still waiting to get my refund check mailed to me (it is now Feb 2021). Apparently accounting doesn't have time to process my request - this is getting very frustrating and I would be very cautious buying anything from them in the future!

What a nightmare

What a nightmare!
Bought a headset which came faulty.
Contacted them the same day and they required me to contact the manufacturer! What kind of after sale service is this???
Avoid at all cost!

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company. and They have the worst customer service. What you may save in parts you will pay it back if you have an issue with your purchase. On 12/07 I returned a tire that I purchase from them. I spoke with them 3 times before asking for a manager or supervisor. The supervisor told me I would get a refund as soon as Monday. I called the Saturday after during business hours and I was placed in hold for 20 minutes and if they picked the call was only to send me back to hold. I called the Georgia location and I asked for a manager. A rude and in a rush lady told me that was not available. Further asking told me that they did a refund to "My account". I do not have an account with them. This was another kick around for not doing my refund. I requested to be refunded to my mean of payment and I was told they will send another message and probably will be received on Monday next week making week 3 since this whole thing started plus the original purchase date making it 6 weeks. They do not care about customer relationship or nothing of that nature, Spend your money somewhere else where if an issue arises they will be glad to help you and not begging to have your money back for something you already returned. I will not buy anything else from them.

I ordered a joystick for my flight…

I ordered a joystick for my flight simulator program July 11th. I was to have it by August 31. They pushed the date out to 9/30 ,then 10/7 and now to12/12. I paid in full plus expedited shipping through PayPal. I followed up on the order today where I learned it was pushed back to 12/12. I made the decision to cancel the order and the Customer Service Rep hung up on me! I would NEVER in a million years order ANYTHING from them and would advise others to do the same. Need to learn Customer Serv Manners!

Absolute NIGHTMARE! AVOID!

Absolute NIGHTMARE! I am from outside the USA, and ordering something is hell! They take your credit card details and store them! You do not know when they hell they will charge your card for the balance! Talking to customer services is HOPELESS! I regret ever contacting them!

Do not use if you are ordering from overseas…

If you are ordering from overseas please please do not use this company! I ordered $37 worth of spruce from them. A few hours later I got an email saying the shipping costs would be $203!!! The next email, minutes later, was to confirm that the order was processed. I emailed them and rang them to immediately cancel the order but they refused. To make matters worse I knew I would be charged 20% import duty on this order which was on top of their extortionate delivery charge. I explained to them that this would happen and they did not care.

Do Not Order From Them!!!!!!

Aircraft spruce is going down hill. poor service.

I inadvertantly ordered 2 of a coax crimp tool. I needed to return it however for some reason Aircraft spruce online system will not allow this. I called customer service order line and was rudely denied and she refered me to a return policy. This is a non consumable product that has not even been opened from the box since there was 2 why would I need to open box #2. I am not using the tool and returning it, Im simply trying to return the extra order! I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars tha with Aircraft Spruce over the years with my airplane and to experience this was rather suprising. They didnt even care! Aircraft Spruce has certainly gone downhill. I would recomend looking other places for your aircraft needs. Use California power systems or Lockwood

Extremely poor service

Extremely poor service, ripping people off, I have returned the item within time limit, gave me store credit and argued. I have sent them a proof of delivery still unrectified, they are thief, selling products at higher rate, hope that this business will shut down soon, no one wants to give them business. Cheaters

I've recently created an account and…

I've recently created an account and ordered about 50 items from these guys. 8 of these items have taken over a month to receive. I keep getting the run around on waiting for the inventory to come in and or we will check on this for you with no follow up. Needless to say I have cancelled a couple of orders and will be going elsewhere anytime I can. It's very sad because Aircraft Spruce has good pricing and their website shows a lot of all what we need in one place but unfortunately it is very misleading and they don't stock alot of what they should and when they don't it takes forever to receive the items.

I am greatly disappointed in the…

I am greatly disappointed in the service that I received from Aircraft Spruce. I ordered a Bose A20 headset. My company has ordered from them before and I thought that they were a reputable distributor. After ordering the headset, I started looking at the tracking information. I saw that a signature was required for delivery to my home. After contacting UPS, they told me that a restriction was made so that only a signature, at the shipping location, would receive the package. they advised me that I would have to contact the shipper to change it. When I called aircraft Spruce, the first person I spoke with was less than courteous. I explained my situation and asked for another option. I told her that I was not able to be at home all day on Thursday to receive my package and sign for it. She advised that was the only option per her upper management. She also advised that if I was to miss the delivery, it would be sent back, and I would be responsible for any fees and shipping related. I asked about picking it up at a designated hub and signing for it there. She said she would check with her management on that. After checking with her management I was advised that was not possible either. I contacted management a few hours later. She was very helpful and professional. I explained that my company had ordered parts from Aircraft Spruce before and seemingly had no issues. I asked if there was anyway that I could sign for it and present an ID at a UPS hub as opposed to taking a vacation day from my work, to take delivery at my home. She checked again with her management and they declined. I guess most aircraft Spruce customers take vacations and wait by the door when they purchase items from them. This has been a great inconvenience and I have lost hundreds of dollars because of it. I will never purchase anything from aircraft Spruce again and will tell everyone who wants to listen about my story. I should have stuck with Sportys. They have always provided some additional options for me if I was unable to sign.
