One of the shittiest services I ever…
One of the shittiest services I ever experienced! And that’s an understatement! The flight was canceled because one pilot got ill!!! No backup plan! A huge company that couldn’t replace one pilot! Couldn’t divert the passengers to any other flight. This caused us to miss all the connect flights, the train tickets, vacation days, family plans, school days were skipped for nothing… and to top it all the service personnel was extra rude demanding understanding for the situation showing zero empathy or
Compassion towards the crowds standing for hours with kids. After all that, we ended up in a hotel which threw us out 12 hours before the rescheduled flight… for two days we have been traveling around with luggage and kids with no way to get in touch with customer service. But hey the ai service of the company rescheduled our flights and tried to get in touch with the customer service as well with no success whatsoever. That’s definitely the last time we fly with this horrible company.
One of the worst flying experiences I…
One of the worst flying experiences I had with AirFrance. My first and last time ever. I booked a flight from Paris to London, only to be told 15 mins before boarding that the flight is cancelled. This is fair. However the disappointing news is that I was moved to a flight 15 hours after, even though other people on the same canclled flight were transferred to other flights 2, 4 and 8 hours later. I had no luggage and was travelling single. This flight was a connection following an earlier flight from Tokyo to Paris so that total journey duration became +30 hours. Avoid this airline if you can.
Catastrophic customer service
Catastrophic customer service. Air France lost our stroller for our toddler which caused a lot of stress. Despite giving notice within 24 hours they refused to pay for a new stroller.
TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL FOR THE NATIONAL…
TOTALLY DISGRACEFUL FOR THE NATIONAL AIRLINE OF FRANCE.... CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SATISFACTION IS MOST DEFINITELY THE LEAST OF THEIR PRIORITIES.....
RECEIVED AN E-MAIL AT 3.00am TELLING US THAT THE FLIGHT WAS DELAYED....
NOT ONLY THAT THEY CHANGED THE ORIGINAL DEPATURE TIME IN THE E-MAIL IN ORDER THAT THE DELAY WOULD NOT APPEAR TO BE THAT LONG.....
EVEN THEIR ADVISED DELAYED DEPARTURE TIME WAS DELAYED EVEN FURTHER FROM 45mins TO 80mins IRONICALLY I CHOSE AIR FRANCE IN PREFERENCE TO A LOW COST CARRIER.WITH LEFT AS SCHEDULED I MISSED MY TRAIN CONNECTION AND HAD TO WAIT A FURTHER 3 HOURS .... AIR FRANCE YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR COUNTRY AND THE PEOPLE OF FRANCE
+++FLY EASY JET+++
Inept, unhelpful and lazy - the AirFrance Experience
They lost my bag, okay this happens, but it was a priority piece of luggage, I had paid through the teeth for business class, I was promised delivery of my bag 24 hours after my flight has landed, it has now been 3 days and I'm pretty sure they've not even found my bag, which is weird because it can only be in one of two places. I'm assuming they managed to get it on the plane from my first airport (Manchester) and lost it somewhere in that hellhole CDG. Their customer service is non existent, they use forms which don't update and call service people who are as useful as chocolate teapots telling me that "Yeah, we have no idea where your baggage could be". What was the point of labelling it priority if you're just going to leave it in France when I'm only on holiday for a week, and normally I wouldn't mind if it was just clothes, but I have travelled half way around the world to see my sick mother, with Christmas gifts and things of sentimental value within my luggage just for these inept idiots to shaft me, lose my baggage, and provide not a single ounce of effort to rectify their mistake. I did my part, I checked in ahead of time, I packed light (15kg out of 32kg), I had all my details provided, and the ONE thing I trusted them to do, they couldn't even be arsed to do that properly.
I would highly recommend that wherever possible you do not use this godforsaken airline, and if you do, make sure you have anything valuable your carry on, and at least a few changes of clothes.
🆘 My experience with Air France has…
🆘 My experience with Air France has been absolutely unacceptable.
I paid for a Business Class ticket and trusted their service, yet my baggage never arrived. The worst part is the complete lack of responsibility and coordination from their team.
My bag was supposed to be transferred from Toronto to Paris, then forwarded to Vienna, but Air France simply failed to send it. I am now stuck without my essential items while traveling with my one month old baby and my wife.
The tracking system is incorrect and confusing, customer service gives different answers every time, and no one seems capable of providing a real update. For an airline that claims to be “premium”, the service is unbelievably poor.
This situation has ruined my trip, wasted my time, and caused unnecessary stress for my family.
I will never trust Air France again and I strongly advise others to avoid this company if they value their time, money and safety.
The worst airline I have ever used
The worst airline I have ever used. 100% of flights have been changed with under 10 hours notice (one flight due to depart 6am was changed at 21:45 the night before and only realised as I woke up and decided to check my emails randomly) instead of 1 short stop over in Paris we were taken Newcastle - Amsterdam - Madrid then to Havana turning it into a 24 hour + travel day instead of 10 + hours. They clearly prioritised profits over customer satisfaction. The only airline equally as bad is KLM and there was no shock to find out these are the same company. I have spent the past few years travelling all over the world and this is the only airline that has caused me stress. They don’t bother honouring any extras paid for or special meal preferences (vegetarian options selected and confirmed at online check in but no information passed on to flight crew) the customer service is non existent and I am happy that I’ll never fly with them again.
Terrible organisation, Not in time!
Not in time! 5h too late!
Extremly unorganized in every part!
Service terrible!
Stewardess touches you every time they walk in the way between the seats!
No sparkling water after 7h on a 12h flight!
Dont book here, problems everywhere!
AF has a (useless) app, so AF doesn't need to give a toss about their passengers
Every other time I've asked an inflight steward "our delay means I might miss my connection (also with your company), what do I do", they have given me some sort of reply. On an Air France flight from Cape Town to Paris, it was all "look in our app". I am on an airplane (the steward ought to have noticed, he was too) and the AirFrance Wifi does NOT work. When I finally land, I waste precious time downloading the app to get me a "fast track pass" to quickly reach the next gate - a "fast track pass" that has NO value in Charles de Gaulle airport (that's only the capital of France, obviously not a reasonable place to expect Air France to have working infrastructure): you queue in the same queue as everyone else for security and passport. No one cares if you wave your fast track pass at them. I saw other passengers actually get in a fight because those with imminent connections tried to skip ahead of those with more time. Any decent customer service could have managed flight connections SOMEHOW. Air France had nothing. No service whatsoever for connecting passengers. Their philosophy is apparently: We have a stupid app that does nothing at all, therefore we no longer need to care about our customers. Fair enough. You have one less customer.
Worst airline in the world
Worst airline in the world. BY FAR. The way they treat people…. No words. No one speaks English, AT THE AIRPORT! It’s increbible. They are rude and unprofessional. Worst experience ever. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!
Bad experience. I usually fly KLM, with great satisfaction: staff is courteous and polite, in cabin temperature is pleasant and not too hot. If it is hot, a request is met with friendly willingness to adjust. NOT with Air France Hop. Unfortunately my route in the winter has seen KLM planes replaced by Air France Hop. Staff is rude most of the time and the cabin is boiling. 25+ degrees. Today, November 27th, it was 30 degrees Celsius on board. I recently bought a thermometer thingy and have the photos to prove it. When I asked staff if it was possible to lower the temperature slightly as it was very warm on board, she sneered at me that the cabin temperature is completely normal, so no. It was a horrendous sauna of a flight, with other passengers taking off their shirts and coats, but the 2 young stewardesses were happy at punch in the hot cabin, even disrespectfully laughing at each other when passing my chair. Very expensive flight tickets, very unpleasant flight with rude staff.
Absolutely dreadful service
Absolutely dreadful service. We were unable to check in online so joined a large queue of other passengers unable to check in. Staff were disinterested. The plane was old, the food poor and the staff were again disinterested.
On our arrival in to Lima we discovered that our luggage had not made the journey. We reported the loss and were advised that our luggage would turn up in the next 1 - 3 days and we would be reimbursed for emergency items only but given no allowance.
We booked our holiday with Trailfinders and our guide advised that luggage regularly goes missing with Air France.
We were given inaccurate and misleading information with regard to our luggage advised it would turn up the following day which it didn't. This was supposed to be the holiday of a lifetime which was ruined by having no medication, cosmetics or clothing for 6 days.
We were busy with tours during the day and spent evenings on the phone trying to track down our missing luggage. We managed to buy a few essentials whilst in Lima then we were advised 1 bag would arrive the following day this never materialised. We then moved on to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu where it was impossible to buy emergency items and clothing. At no point did we receive an apology from Air France.
Our luggage eventually turned up 6 days later.
We have been fortunate to travel extensively and can honestly say that Air France are the worst airline we have ever travelled with and we would never use them again.
To date we have received £150 from Air France in recompense for the emergency items purchased but have received no apology or compensation for a ruined holiday. We would actively discourage anyone else from using them.
What a bullshit
What a bullshit. Waited for three damn bags and by the time they showed up it was too late to land in Zurich. 🤯
Do yourself a favour and keep Air France out of any travel plans. KLM should’ve just let Air France go bankrupt.
Not business class at all being made to…
Not business class at all being made to queue in economy to check in appaling service
Missed a connection
Missed a connection. Poor service in Paris and very inconvenient re-routing. Still 3 months since the delay and the standard compensation is yet to be paid.
Terrible service and no real customer care
Our flight AF476 to Salvador was delayed over six hours, following an earlier delay that morning, and our baggage was lost for twelve days!! Air France never responded meaningfully during the trip, forcing us to stay in hotels and drastically altering our vacation. Afterwards all the prove of extra costs (100's of euro's, plus our time and energy that we would have liked to actually have holiday) is only reimbursed up to 100€ with receipts stating every little detail (which they often didn't even give at many small shops and hotels)
Even now, they only offer the €600 per passenger required by law, ignoring the stress, extra costs, and lost holiday experience. No empathy, no service: extremely disappointing. Most holidays we chose Air France or KLM to fly with, mostly due to their reputed service. But proven that they don't do any better in that aspect, this is the last time we flew with Air France.
Air france giving visible( a woman…
Air france giving visible( a woman wearing a hijab) or (a man having long beard) muslim a non halal food and sometimes even pork and dessert contain alcohol. If u have to travel dont choose air france, they are so racist and they wont respect your religion. Pure diffamation radicalist.
AirFrance was never -in my adult life…
AirFrance was never -in my adult life at least- great, but now it's really, seriously, a miserable experience that starts from the moment you arrive to their site, and ends when you get to your destination, potentially with ALL of your broken baggage parts.
Airfrance CPH-CDG-NAIA and return Marts '25
Do not use Airfrance if you have connecting flights, especially if it's in (CDG).
1. If Airfrance try to sell you a ticket with a transit time under 2 hours in (CDG), you should definitely reconsider your purchase. You have to go through several security checks on international flights, which is okay, but in France things like that takes a looong time.
2. I had an incident on the plane with a steward and a passenger fumbling with a cup of coffee, that ended up on my lap. Things like that can happen, but Airfrance unlike other airlines I have used, will deny all responsibility once you contact them after the travel. Even though the purser promise you onboard the plane, that they have full responsibility.
3. Airfrance will also use your email that you give them upon purchase of the ticket, to send you a endless line of mails for surveys. Even though you have not been giving the permission to use the email for other purposes and share it with third part.
For example a company called ktrmr.com. A company known for spamming activities. (there a reviews here on Trustpilot).
4. Also upon Airfrance flights, you will receive the worst standard of food you can imagine. I'm use to fly with Thai Air, and the food on the international Airfrance fights do not even get near the standard of Thai Air.
All the bad reviews of Airfrance on Trustpilot are here for a good reason.
Zero stars. Making a sad and difficult situation worse.
I am utterly appalled by the way Air France has treated us while grieving a family bereavement. My partner’s father died unexpectedly, meaning they had to fly out earlier on a single ticket with a different airline. All we asked was to cancel only the outbound leg and still use the already-paid return journey. Instead of any compassion or urgency, Air France demanded €500 for not taking a flight — charging us for freeing up a seat they could resell. Only after submitting an official death certificate did they reluctantly agree to issue a voucher… yet six days later, with the flight now imminent, they have still not done so and refuse to even escalate the request or confirm any timeline.
This is one of the coldest, most robotic customer service experiences we have ever had — copy-paste replies, zero accountability, and a total refusal to apply common sense or empathy. All while holding hostage a flight we have already paid for, leaving us unable to rebook the return before it sells out. In a moment of grief, Air France has added entirely avoidable distress. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with anything time-critical or human.
I hope someone from AirFrance reads this and thinks twice about their future working for such an inhuman corporation.
