Very good service!!

The ordering and shipping process went very smoothly. At first, I thought there were some issues with the address when the package arrived in my country, but it turned out it wasn’t their fault at all.

Throughout the process, they were very responsive and professional, especially whenever I had questions about my order. At the end, my figure arrived today, and I am really, really satisfied with the product.

Overall, Aitai Kuji is extremely professional and reliable when it comes to order tracking and customer service. I would definitely order from them in the future ;)

Won't be purchasing again...

I made a purchase back in August 31st 2025 for an item that was meant to be released in August 2025. I have gone MONTHS wondering where my order is and once I emailed support in October 2025, all I received was a "4 - 12 weeks" and just to be patient really. I am now having to email AGAIN as we're passing the 4th month mark with still no email on when my order is even going to be shipped. All it says on the website is that it's still "processing" - I'm giving one more star just because the customer service is kind. Other than that I am disappointed by the slowness.

Good selection and decent pricing :p

They have a good selection of merch and the customer service is great. I wanted to order the malleus 1/8 scale figure but I had to wait til Christmas to order it, though before I could it sold out, and I decided to contact customer service to inquire if there would be any future restocks. They got back to me in a fair amount of time and sent me some helpful tips for monitoring any new restocks of the figure, thanks.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Good prices and very rich catalogue.
The assistant Claudia is fantastic! Very kind, attentive and fast replies.
I can't wait to be back to Japan next year!

Edit: I had an issue with an order because I was mistakenly shipped the wrong item. Although it took quite a long time to resolve, the customer service team was very kind and helpful, resending the correct item and issuing a coupon for the inconvenience.

Happy customer

I ordered a CD that's only available in Japan and it arrived in the mail in the US in perfect condition! I'm very happy with the service and communication during the shipping process, as there's a lot of uncertainty with international shipments coming into the US right now.

Sanji No Oyatsu

I just received my package today 10/15/25 and it was in perfect condition!! However, it did take about a month or two to arrive due to delivery delayes. I ordered this plush on 7/31/25 and I waited about 10 days or so to receive updates on it. When it was shipped, there was an error and I was not contacted at all to fix it. Therefore it got sent back and I had to pay again for it to be shipped. After I had paid I never got any updates. I honestly forgot I had ordered from here till I got my package today a few hours ago. Nonetheless, I like how I was able to buy a limited plush from Japan without needing to go there in person, although the shipping and overall price was very expensive. Thank you though!!! ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ◍)

Yay!!

Good prices, clear instructions (it was a pre order item, so i wouldnt be getting it immediately but it was clear on the website and the confirmation e-mail had answers to other questions), and extremely fast shipping after it was released. the package was nicely wrapped to protect my items and i will definitely be buying more of my merchandise here!!

shipped from japan to denmark with no issue, import tax was also over and done with real quickly. Was glad that i had to sign to receive the package, ensuring it wouldnt get lost

Disappointing

A few weeks after I ordered a couple of t-shirts I reached out for an ETA, exclaimed no rush and just wanted to be in touch.

Initially was responded and they were very helpful in explaining the situation and that they would have to be picked up at the later event, which I am fine with, kept the order and waited until end date.

I emailed them and got no response, then emailed again 2 weeks later to no reponse. That was a 4 weeks ago, still nothing. The original email was June.

Not mad, just very disappointed.

Request went through fine.

*Just to add on from the response, I checked spam emails every few days for the 6 weeks of waiting for a reply.

I was assisted by an Aitai rep named…

I was assisted by an Aitai rep named Claudia and she was INCREDIBLE. I happened to be visiting Japan and she helped me get my package pending in warehouse updated to my Airbnb address while staying in Tokyo. I’m so happy this was a package I was worried I may never receive given the shipping situation with the US right now. 10/10 experience!!

The staff are very communicative!

The staff are very communicative and willing to help with orders. I had to seek a refund, but only because my country made shipping my order to me
Practically impossible. The staff were willing to work with me to help sort everything out, and they made the process easy! Once changes are made and I can actually order things without worrying about tariffs and post again, o can see myself ordering items off this site!

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS, absolutely disgusting business practice. My package was returned to the sender at customs for no fault of my own. It’s not like I didn’t pay the customs fee or my shipping address was incorrect. I have received many packages abroad at the same address with no problem before so I’m assuming it must have been an error on their part that caused it to be sent back. Now they’re saying I have to pay the shipping fee again or get a refund only with store credit along with an additional “restocking fee”. Are you serious? So because of their error they get to pocket my money for nothing. Absolute scam, avoid at all costs. Any reputable seller would allow you to refund when it’s something that’s so clearly their fault

Update: they’re absolute jokes. They mentioned a refund in the reply and like I said before, it’s only for store credit and also with a hefty restocking fee. As if I would ever shop here again. I’m going
through my bank and paypal instead of these crooks

Please kindly note that once an order has been shipped, all transit and delivery processes are handled directly by the courier—in this case, USPS for Registered Air Mail. Unfortunately, we are not given control over or visibility into why a package is rejected at customs or returned, unless a reason is explicitly provided by the courier.

Our store policy states that shipping and handling fees apply per shipment, which is why a reshipping fee is normally required if a package is returned. However, since your order was returned without any clear explanation from USPS, we will request an investigation through Japan Post to clarify the reason for the return.

In the meantime, we would like to work with you to find the best resolution. Once we receive more details, we will provide you with the available options, which may include reshipping or a refund. Do Not Purchase From Aitai Kuji

I had a horrible experience with Aitai Kuji. I placed an order for two shirts from Graniph (which were out of stock on Graniph at the time) that were on an "as order basis," which as far as I understood, meant they would only get the item from the supplier and ship once a certain threshold of orders was met. That's fine, and I understood the possibility of my items not getting fulfilled. However, after I placed my order with Aitai Kuji, I saw those items go back in stock with Graniph for quite some time. Since I had already ordered with Aitai Kuji, I did not want to double order and left it alone. Eventually, the items went back out of stock on Graniph, and then afterwards, Aitai Kuji contacted me to let me know that they were unable to procure one of the items. That was very frustrating, but not completely unreasonable. What made me leave this review is that the entire time, their communication with me was horrible. I received emails from them marked "URGENT" and would reply within the hour of receiving them, and they would not reply for days. I'm not even sure if they read those replies because I ended up having to submit questions to them via their online form. Furthermore, I placed the order with a 1000 yen off 3500 yen coupon. When they were unable to fulfill one of my items, the other one was still worth more than 3500 yen, yet they removed half of the discount for some reason I did not understand. When I reached out to them about this, they ignored my email. Extremely poor customer service. My item also took almost 3 weeks to arrive from when it was marked as shipped, where other similar sites I've used took less than a week for comparable shipping prices. If their communication was any good and if I felt like they respected me as a customer even a little bit, I would not have left this review, but here we are.

For the Yusuke Nakamura Graniph Big Silhouette T-shirt Yojohan Time Machine Blues item, the cancellation was due to our suppliers being unable to fulfill it. In these situations, our team actively contacts alternate suppliers and visits local stores in Japan in an attempt to secure the item. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the item was unavailable, and we regret that we were unable to provide it for you.

Regarding communication, we understand how important timely responses are. Our records show that we responded within our standard 1–3 business day timeframe, but we recognize that this did not meet your expectations. We are actively working on improving both the clarity and speed of our communication so that future customers have a smoother experience.

As for the coupon discount, our system calculates savings proportionally across items in the order. When one item is canceled, the discount is automatically adjusted to reflect the items that remain. We understand this may not have been clear, and we apologize for any confusion caused.

We truly regret that this order left you disappointed. Your feedback is valuable, and we will be using it to improve both our communication and the transparency of our policies moving forward.
