I don't recommend anyone to shop there. I ordered several things in December. all were available. I waited until March but I didn't get any notification about my order. I then wrote to customer service myself to find out what was going on with my delivery. The answer said my things had to be picked up from an other Store and then dont know when.
strange because the products were available. Two months later I wrote again and I got exactly the same canned answer. After eight months I received a notification from PayPal that I would receive a partial refund. I was angry at that point. I wrote to customer service again to see if I could cancel the order. the answer was no. After 8 months I have now received half an order of which everything was available. I understand that you can't simply cancel orders. That's also on the website. But it's not my fault that something was advertised to me that didn't exist. I feel fooled. That would be the same if I buy a car with extras and I'm later told that the car doesn't exist but we'll send you the extras but you can't cancel the whole thing. have fun with it. What annoys me the most is that it was shown to me that the things were available and that no one wrote: hey, the things aren't there. You could have simply written a pre-order and it would have been ok if the items were no longer available. on the whole: never again. There are now so many other retailers that offer the same thing but have better service.

Happy with the service
I had pre order items that were sent at the due date and once it was shipped it came really quickly even though I am in France. I had a number to track my order and everything went fine ! The items were well wrapped, everything is perfect despite the long distance :)
Just a reminder for my follows europeans : please remember you probably will be getting taxes at the arrival, but it id to be expected but it still add a cost to the order (which totally doesn't have to do with AitaiKuji but it's important to take it into consideration)
I am really happy with my order !

Safe page and authentic
The page was easy to navigate and use, very clear with waiting times, I found the item I was looking for that was sold out anywhere else. Plenty of good reviews gave me confidence I could get my item and was not a scam. The item came well packaged and arrived safe and sound! Now that I know this page is super safe, from payment to authenticity of the products and care for the package, I want to keep buying from it, as authentic anime merch, specially finding variety, is hard to find in my country.

This is a legit company, but takes so long for it to ship out

Audrey did a wonderful job at being honest with my emails and thank god that FedEx was transparent with me on this.
I want to take off one star is because it’s overpriced.

My order was delivered perfectly, in a sturdy yet compact packaging. I truly appreciate services like this exist. Most Japanese merch websites don't accept foreign credit cards and won't ship overseas.

Will never pre-order anything here again!
The Aerith music box was ordered on the second week of April 2024 and magically got cancelled last week (July 2025) after being postponed 3 times.
Funny enough, 7 days before the cancellation, they assured me everything was going well and thanked me for my patience....... I've waited 448 days to NOT receive this post surgery treat to myself, you are very welcome.
On the second postponement in November, I politely asked if one of the items I ordered at the time could be cancelled, but the answer was 'no, we do not do refund'.
Well a more accurate sentence would be: 'We do not do refund when it's not convenient for us'.
So, since the surprising and unexplained refund of the Music Box, I have received no communication, no explanation, no apologies, no commercial gesture and frustratingly no answer to my emails since.
I suspect my box is now being sold on Ebay from a member of their team and my interactions with them have demonstrated that nothing they will say can be trusted.
Do yourself a favour, look everywhere else and think twice before purchasing with them.

Preorder cancelled over a year later
I preordered the Aerith Music Box on 2024/05/05 and got a cancellation notice today, over a year later, with a refund. Unfortunately I can't really obtain this item anymore, as only scalpers are selling this item for over 5x the original price now. I wish I had ordered from other channels then I might have received the item. Support did not really reply to my emails after a business week.
For other items that are not so highly rare/sought after, I think this can be a good place to buy, but I don't think I can trust this store again. I received the other small items that I ordered, and I think those were well packaged.

I ordered the Clamp Exhibition merch in August 2024, since it was marked with "Release Oct/Nov 2024". After not hearing anything about my order by December, I contacted the shop. They told me that they couldn't get the merch yet, and will try again on the next possible date. In January/February 2025.
Okay, fine. I will wait I guess.
By March or April I contacted them again, since I was slowly losing interest in this order. They told me the same thing again. And I mean I really get it. Its exhibition exl. merch - BUT I asked to cancel the order, since I was going to visit Japan in May 2025 and could pick the stuff in shops by myself at this point. Just to be told that they don't offer cancelations/refunds. And that they will wait till May for the official release and that I will get my order in JUNE 2025!
At this point I was just pissed. I got the order in late June 2025. Ordering it in August 2024.
On top I had to pay 30€ taxes, making this whole experience just sad. I won't ever order again here.
I bet this shop is okay for merch that is available, but not for pre-order. Making customers wait for 10 months. I couldn't even be happy about my Clamp merch after this whole thing.

Product didn't look as advertised
First time placing an order with Aitai Kuji and the product I purchased did not look like what was advertised, and I'm disappointed. I didn't mind the waiting since the item was As-order Basis and that's completely fine - it's something I'm used to, not my first waiting rodeo. But I was excited and trusted that the plush looked exactly as it was pictured (which was the sole reason I bought it) and unfortunately it doesn't. Now I'm stuck with something I don't even want.
