I had a great experience shopping on this website, and got my new board on time 🤙🏽

Surf equipment ordered in Europe.
Ordered and paid express delivery of 3 days. 10 days later no equipment. Left without. Impossible to contact.

Reading the other reviews it appears they operate well in Australia where they originated, but have overstepped/ over extended going into Europe. Arms length control.

Would give Zero but no option for it. Board was ordered, 4 days later still no tracking. Three enquiries later I get two different emails, one blaming Auspost, the next telling me board is no longer available. Don’t bother ordering from the website, pathetic service.👎🏻

Customer service was excellent and the description of the product was accurate. In addition, delivery time frame was exceptional. Thank you.

Good website, fast, simple and great packaging!

I've been looking for a specific board for weeks until I found this website. The customer service person was super helpful and connected me with an expert. It was my first time shopping with them but I will come back.

Was going to order a board off this mob but decided to go straight to the shop as I could see who they were by the postcode. Shop had never heard of the company nor did they have the board in stock as it doesn't even come in the size advertised. Steer clear.

It was very easy to choose the board I was looking for and super fast to receive it at home. Perfect packaging. Thank you so much!

shocking service.
phoned about a board on web site,wasnt available or made any more. spoke to rep who confirmed this via phone 1 month later. 3 weeks after that emailed head office who said board was available. order board then received phone call saying board was not available.
total stuff up of customer service

Looking for a surfboard, found it at a good price. After contemplating, decided to purchase. Great process, yep I'll have the surfboard in 3-5 days. How exciting😀
Get an email 24 hours later saying 'Im sorry we cannot send your order due to no stock'. Would you prefer a refund or we can put it to another board? I really wanted that board😢
I say refund and it takes them around 36 hours to even start the refund process.
I don't get why you can have stock live on your website but not actually have the physical stock to sell it. Not happy. I would never recommend or use ever again

This is the second board i've purchased through Akewatu. I cant rate them highly enough, both boards have been extremely well packed and turned up safe n sound. My second board took only 3 days to arrive from interstate. Awesome thanks guys.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a surfboard which turned up poorly packaged and broken.

I am told there is nothing that can be done because I didn't force the delivery man to stand outside my door while I spent time unpacking and checking.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I purchased a board 11 days ago. The board never got shipped. I have been trying to contact them for a week everyday with no response. I have tried email, online chat, phone calls and have received no reply at all.I still have to wait to escalate with PayPal before and who knows how long it will take to get my money back that way. So frustrating as I really needed that board and not only did I not receive it now I can't buy another one cause they won't answer or refund me 11 days later. This just sucks.

Ordered a board for a trip a week away, and paid the extra for 48h postage, Board didn’t arrive, phone calls back and fore said there was a problem with delivering the board, went on the trip without the board and was paying €25 per day rental, asked to cancel and a refund so I could buy a board in store On location to surf and they agreed. Back home now, no refund so no new board and more €25pd rental costs, still waiting for a refund. Def not worth the stress. Avoid.

Order cancelled days after I made it, leaving it too late to source a new board. Still waiting for my refund one week later. Avoid.

I purchased a Softech board from Akewatu for my daughter, I spoke with Jasmine who was extremely helpful, to find the colour we wanted.
The Board turned up within 48 hours, however it had been damaged in transport.
I Rang Jasmine at Akewatu, and considering that it wasn’t their fault, they were extremely helpful in sourcing a replacement board for me.

I really appreciated that they didn’t walk away from the issue and were proactive in sourcing the replacement.

Thanks Akewatu, my daughter loves the board.

Akewatu was great to deal with from start to finish, even nearly a year later when there was a manufacturer issue with my board that I purchased they went above and beyond to get it sorted .
