Attentive service without being pushy or intrusive; we purchased quite a different chair from the one we went to look at, but it really is a lovely. We had plenty of opportunity to consider the different options too.

Excellent Score but issues with delivery
The staff in the store are excellent but I have an issue with the delivery men as they left boot marks on my carpet which have not hoovered out and will require having to have my carpet cleaned - they should be issued with covers for their boots - I have now spoken to Alan Ward and it seems they do issue their delivery men with covers and have offered to clean my carpet so I am satisfied thank you

Despite being overpriced
Despite being overpriced, the furniture was delivered ahead of schedule and the delivery men were absolutely marvellous in installing our new lounge suite and removing the old one.

Absolutely excellent service! Lady in the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable, she could not do enough to help us. Courtesy call 2 hours before delivery and very friendly delivery staff! Would 100% recommend.

Excellent - highly recommended
Alan Ward was recommended to us as the place to go for a high quality sofa which will last for years. Our in-store experience was very good, the sales staff were not too pushy and didn't "hover" and pressure us at all. We were given chance to make our own decision but help was on hand if we had any questions. We found exactly what we were looking for and luckily it had some money off due to a current sale. We were able to have the sofas we chose delivered in about 48 hours as they were in stock, which was absolutely excellent! The delivery team were courteous and respectful of our home and property, removed their shoes and all packaging etc. Overall, I will be visiting Alan Ward again and will definitely be recommending the store to our friends. Thankyou to the Shrewsbury team and delivery team for your professionalism.

Very good customer service and advice…
Very good customer service and advice about the suite we were buying. Excellent delivery service with very pleasant and helpful guys who unpacked, assembled and placed the furniture.
Would certainly use Wards again even though they are 40 miles away.

How to impress a returning customer
I saw the tv unit cheaper on a different site. I always buy from Alan Ward and their customer service always excellent so I contacted them and they subsequently agreed to price match. Brilliant!
