Fantastic from start to finish.

Comms from Kieran leading up to the move was good and the quote was very reasonable.

The team on the day couldn’t have done more to help and made, what could have been a stressful day, much easier.

Absolutely fantastic. Kieran and the team were incredible and such a pleasure to be around. They worked so hard to get us moved and showed a serious level of expertise navigating some of the trickier elements. Would 100% recommend without hesitation. We also did the part pack option which was super helpful and saw every single delicate item safely moved

I recently used Alexander’s Removal and couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I got in touch, the communication was prompt, clear, and professional. On the day of the move, the team arrived right on time, handled everything with great care, and worked efficiently throughout. Nothing was too much trouble — they even helped with a few last-minute adjustments without any fuss.

What really stood out was how friendly and respectful the crew was. Moving can be stressful, but Alexander’s team made it feel easy and stress-free. Excellent value for money too!

Kieran and the team at Alexanders Removal were truly amazing. Kieran was available at short notice after we were let down by another firm. The team arrived the day before the move to complete a full pack. The team took really good care of our belongings ensuring they were packed and wrapped carefully. On the day of the move the team arrived early, they made what could have been a stressful situation easy and hassle free. The move to our new property was handled with professionalism and care. I would highly recommend and would definately use Kirean and the team in the future.

I can honestly say that this removal company were excellent. They made themselves available at short notice for our home move as the completion dates kept changing. Kieran was available to contact via text and was able to answer all of my questions.
The packing team arrived the day before and made sure everything was packed carefully and was ready for the team the next morning.

On moving day, 4 men arrived early and were very fast and efficient at getting everything from our 4 bedroom house loaded into the vans. What more can we say than we would 110% recommend Alexanders to anyone who is looking for a smooth, stress free, professional service, provided by a great group of people to trust their house move with.

They fully packed our house the day before our move and then on D-Day they arrived early and we were in our new home unpacking boxes whilst they re-assembled everything for us. The attention to detail to not only protect our belongings in transit, but also our new home decorating and carpets was superb

Please be aware I am reviewing a local removals company based in Huntingdon - 12 Windover Court PE29 7EA. We used this company to move from Huntingdon to March on the 31/01/2025 ( I did read some rather negative reviews from two companies with similar/same name )
My keenly priced quote was received smartly with some helpful hints for moving. Our quote detailed the extra packing requirements for contents of our display cases. This was carried out the day before and undertaken carefully and professionally. The move day itself was, from my point of view without any problems. All the staff were more than helpful and responded to our requirements. Kieran had already visited our new site and noted some potential delivery vehicle size requirements.
Alexanders ensured this day went smoothly and we were delighted with simply great service. Many thanks.

Do not go anywhere near these people. Cancelled my van 1 hour after it was due to arrive, called me on a no caller ID number with obviously no intention of doing the job, can’t get my money back as they are not answering the phone. I was left to make alternative arrangements on the day, DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY

Seriously let us down yesterday, house move disaster. Took our deposit very promptly, confirmed day before and then NOTHING. We had nightmare to find alternative company within hours of new owner moving in. Had to pay a big premium too. To say cowboys is a very polite way to describe this shower of shi*!

We used this firm to move our furniture to Spain. They were three days late with the second load and three items were damaged. When I complained about my damaged items they took their staffs word over ours. Would I really bother bubble wrapping a smashed mirror no or a smashed tv. The most important item they damaged was a slate top dining table that my LATE son gave me. I am absolutely devastated about this. I spoke to management about this but got nowhere. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding the continued display of reviews for the business listed on Yell, which has been reported to the authorities for involvement in criminal activities, specifically theft from multiple individuals.

Please be informed that a police report has been filed, and the crime reference number is SP-161725-24-0145-IR01. This business has been reported for serious misconduct, and its ongoing operations are under investigation by the police.

In light of this, I am urging Yell to reconsider its decision to leave the reviews for this business online. By maintaining these reviews, you may inadvertently be supporting a business that has caused harm to multiple individuals and is currently under investigation for theft.

I understand that Yell has policies regarding the removal of reviews, but I believe the situation at hand requires immediate attention due to its severity. The presence of these reviews may mislead potential customers and contribute to further harm by promoting a business involved in criminal activity.

I kindly ask you to review this matter with urgency, and to take appropriate action by removing the business’s listing or at the very least, disabling reviews until the legal case is resolved. Failing to address this could reflect negatively on Yell’s commitment to providing trustworthy business information to the public.

First and foremost I'd like to point out that the team that came to do the actual moving was great and had it not been for the management of the company, this would be a 5 star review.

After weeks of searching I had finally found a flat I liked and wanted to move into. Before submitting an offer I contacted Alexander's, to see if they could send someone to conduct a survey and see if all of my furniture would fit into the new flat. Alexander's were able to send someone by quite quickly, and he conducted the survey measuring the furniture and the entrance to the new flat. He assured me that there would be no issues at all, with the exception of one sofa potentially not fitting. I said, fine and made an offer on the flat.

My offer was accepted and I booked the move with Alexander's paying just shy of £10,000. The team came as booked packed everything up and moved it over to the new flat, where we found out that several items were not fitting through the front door. The move leader said with his own words "the office sent you an amateur." I immediately called the head office and after a bunch of chaotic proposals (won't even get into this), they said that they fundamentally do not take liability for their surveys and that they would do me favour by temporarily storing the furniture that didn't fit for me until they came up with a resolution.

After 2-3 weeks of waiting, finally I got an email saying that they take no responsibility and accept no blame for the situation. They added that they have incurred storage costs for my items of £23 and would add another £400 deduction off of my move price as a "gesture of good will." The items that didn't fit through the door accumulated to a value of over £3500.

Overall, such a shame because the moving team was great. I just don't see how a company can charge this much and then do such an unprofessional job. Would not recommend for bigger and complex moves.

So I contacted Alexander’s Removals for a removal, approx. On par to a modern 3 bedroom apartment, ground floor, we had a video quote call with a rep, shown them virtually around the property, and at the end of the cal, I was informed that they would send me me a quote - so drum role the quote was just shy of £3k, an absolute joke and bunch of rip off cowboys, have have quotes from other firms with exact details and NOWHERE in that region for literally just transportation of goods. Not needing to pack anything, literally just move moving from one address to another, nothing “ SPECIAL”! Don’t waste your time with them..

I had to go into storage before Christmas, as the property I was purchasing, was awaiting for probate! I moved into my new home in March. On unpacking I realised an antique washstand was missing, ( damaged or ???) the contents of the drawer were found in another piece. Another antique item was damaged, other pieces were mis- handled. Because I did not have the receipts, I could on.y c.aim a small sum, as a “gesture of goodwill” And that was hard work! Staff were sacked whilst I was in storage. I will not be recommending this firm.

Someone came to assess the contents saying they would have a quote out by the end of the day. Completely ghosted me. No response to emails or telephone messages. Not the kind of stress you need when trying to arrange a move.
