Alexanders Removals & Storage Reviews 

Alexanders were great - it felt so bizarre just standing and watching as the team professionally came in, boxed everything up safely (literally every cup, glass, plate, bowl, picture frame, poster, etc was wrapped up), then pack it all into the vans.
On the other side, they unloaded everything exactly where I asked them to, they were very attentive, and put back together all our beds, sofas, etc without damage.
I would definitely recommend.

Contacting Alexanders was very easy and responses from them were accurate and speedy. On the day of removal I was kept informed of their arrival. The men could not have been more helpful, respectful of my property and reassuring all the time.
I would highly recommend this company.

we had a really stressful last few days and completed only the day before the move, yet the team in the office were always really kind and helpful with our last minute needs.

The packing/moving team was four guys. They were really efficient and careful; and were really quick when needed and then super patient when we had to wait for access to the next property. The whole team really went above and beyond - will def make a stressful time super easy.

Pros:
Justyna was a fantastic move manager, very responsive and helped sort out every aspect of the move. Cannot commend her highly enough. This included an issue over the weekend which was quickly resolved despite it not being a working day. The packing team were very quick and efficient. The handyman reassembled my furniture and repaired a wardrobe that was previously slightly damaged.

Cons:
I opted for the unpacking service but the team did quite a rushed job and it was clear they just wanted to leave quickly. While no items were damaged, it was done a bit carelessly overall and I would expect slightly more given the price of the overall service.

All round fabulous service, from quotation, office communications to packers and removal team. Makes what is a stressful time much less stressful!

Having moved many times around the world, I am very pleased to say that the Alexanders’ team made the experience as painless and possible. The account manager (Callie) and the team assigned were great throughout the journey.

From the moment we reached out to Alexanders, we had an amazing experience. Our survey was handled by Davier, who was super professional and answered all our questions. He even had solutions for some of our tricky furniture and was quick to help. Our move manager, Justyna, was always there to answer our questions, no matter how small they were, and was a pleasure to work with. Our move took over two days, but the fantastic team carefully export wrapped our furniture and took care of anything we couldn’t figure out how to put in a box. Michael and his team were brilliant: the removal was from a 4-bedroom, 3-floor house where I'd lived for well over 38 years to a 2-bedroom duplex up many many flights of stairs. I was flustered; they were calm and skilful and worked so hard. Everything went well and they couldn't have been nicer. Fortunately my son was there with his carpenters' tools to take a door off - enabling them to get a massive glass-topped dining table in. All this took place at two central London locations so parking was handled efficiently by the move manager; I didn't have to spend hours dealing with TfL. A great company - use Alexanders!

We had our whole family home to move after more than 20yrs at the same address. This was a huge undertaking, but thankfully, the Alexanders team made it simple and stress-free. Kris and his team were punctual and efficient, quick and courteous and just got the job done. Equally in the office, Justyna was a pleasure to deal with and explained all the options, including storage, from the outset as well as being in touch throughout the process. Overall, a whirlwind couple of days and an emotional farewell to an old home, all made easier with a very professional execution by everyone on the Alexanders team. Many thanks.

I was delighted with the removals team. From start to finish they were professional and cheerful. Nothing was a problem. They packed up my stuff with care and in an organised way. It all delivered in tact. Absolutely recommend.

From start to finish we received an exceptional level of service from Alexanders and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again (although very much hoping I am not going to move home again anytime soon!). Firstly, we had a home visit for the survey rather than an online/video survey which is in contrast to many of the other companies we sought quotes from. Callie was responsive, reliable, communicative, efficient and helpful throughout, and was empathetic when our move fell through (as the team were loading our entire house onto the lorry). We receive a partial refund and were able to reschedule with ease - Callie and her team were flexible and it was very much appreciated under the circumstances. The removals guys themselves were outstanding and went above and beyond what was expected. They were friendly, ultra hard-working and eager to do the best job possible for us, which did not go unnoticed. We had quite a stressful moving experience with it falling through just before Christmas, and then even on final completion day a bit of uncertainty as to whether it was going to complete or not. Alexanders helped to make it run smoothly and we cannot thank them enough.

I highly recommend Alexander’s Removals. They have done a great job in a tight time frame in early Jan 25 and to a specific budget that we needed to meet.

They’ve consistently gone over and above to meet the usually ad hoc “help!” requests on packing, disconnecting appliances, removing awkward and large furniture from top floor and then putting it back together which was not in the remit.

I was very stressed and overwhelmed due to the nature and timing of our move shortly after Christmas and confirmed only a week prior. Half the family was unwell and they worked around children in bed and made it as stress free as they could.

Ultimately a big house move is never stress free, but they didn’t argue about any challenges. Tony the boss came and checked in on the team in person, and Tomek the supervisor on the job was attentive and on it consistently.

They were kind and patient with our family and two dogs who I could not find daycare for.

They organised a handyman who was amazing and so good.

Justyna in the office replied to the slightest query in minutes and made sure it was communicated to the team. She sorted permits for removals same day and was a pleasure to deal with.

Overall this is a tight knit operation and you feel it. I’ve used much cheaper outfits in the past and I didn't want to this time because it was a very stressful move under difficult circumstances. I only wish they’d unpack and sort the whole house now.!!!

The Alexanders team made what could have been a stressful move over the Christmas period a very smooth experience. Lucas, Ryan and team were amazing, packing up very efficiently one day and moving the next. We've never used a packing service before so were a little nervous about it all but it couldn't have gone better. Thankyou!
