Helpful and enjoyable
Very good strong syllabus, well learned teachers teaching the proper way to recite like Madinah. My son was not comfortable to go but when he went he enjoyed. I pray my son becomes Hafiz one day. Staff very helpful and good activities and competitions. Allah bless

Masha' Allah very pleased with the progress of my children this academic year, admins are friendly and very responsive, parent communication strong however I would recommend a App for login convenience and happy to support (I am a app developer). Fees are fair, I have never had any issues. Both parents pleased to have joined and happy to recommend the school and services.
Great Online Teaching - Al Haramain
Salam Alaykum! We had enrolled our 8-yr old son into Al Haramain Madrasah's Weekday online program. We initially were sceptical about the online mode, however, we went ahead because their nearest branch is too far away from where we reside, and we had good reviews about their physical classes from our friends. Surprisingly, within a few days we were truly impressed with the way they hold the attention of students throughout the class. The teachers seem to know their subject and how to manage children online. Hamdulillah, we are happy that we took this decision. May allah bless the teachers at al Haramain.
Thieves
I Paid the whole year's fee up front for my 12 year old son only for him to be sent home after only have 4 lessons.
When I tired to get in contact with them I was told by head office, wait for the branch manager to get in contact with you, and it's been a whole year of me chasing them and they haven't had the common courtesy to even give me a call back after taking £500 of a single mother trying to raise my son.
The audacity of them to only give me a call this summer holiday to get me to sign up for another year, and when reminded of the previous situation, they acted shocked and told me leave it to me and I will give you a call back sister, no surprise I still haven't received a call back from the thieving cowboy institute.
Be careful from them and don't make the same mistake I made by paying up front they are only after money.
My experience with Greenwich branch
Extremely surprised with all the negative reviews. My 5 year old just started. Our experience of registering and communication has been great. They changed the venue from Greenwich masjid to a proper school which makes things so much easier for teachers and students to study in purpose built venue. I can not comment on how rest of the year teaching will go. But for first day its been really great!
horrible,terrible, amateurs
one of the worse if not the worst madrassah.
My daughter aged 4 attended the madrassah. Initially i was being bombarded y phone calls to register her at the aged of 3.5. I waited for her to be potty trained and toilet trained.
The class attendant H at kobi Nazrul is incompetent. May Allah makes her kids subject to what she did to my daughter.
The management is amateur and just focused on money.
After my complaint nothing was done, not even an apology well, just justification.
Miss H, in your world please explain how a 4 year old child washes herself.
Sadly...Waste of money
Sadly...Waste of money. This is just another disappointing school in Manchester. Although the curriculum exists, the crucial element: effective teaching is where they fail the most. It feels like a business that priorities money over delivering real results and teachers our children. It’s truly disheartening; I wish there were institutions where dedicated teachers reliably produce satisfying outcomes. If anyone can help and direct us to a proper productive school for our children...salford/Manchester area
Would give ZERO STARS!!
Would give ZERO STARS!!
Extremely disappointed and frustrated with Al Haramain's service and communication. I paid £250 for face-to-face lessons in a reputable area, Salford Quays, but without notice, they relocated to a new address and switched to online lessons.
When I requested a refund due to the significant change in service, they declined and have since ignored all my messages. It's unacceptable that they've taken my money without providing the agreed-upon service or even notifying me of the changes.
To make matters worse, their Facebook page for Salford has allowed racist and xenophobic comments from locals, which is appalling and raises serious concerns about their values and priorities.
I'm still waiting for a callback or contact from Al Haramain to resolve this issue. I expect a prompt response and a fair resolution. People use their hard-earned money for good, not to be scammed or taken advantage of. I urge others to be cautious and do their research before engaging with Al Haramain.
I won't drop this – I believe it's essential to hold organizations accountable for their actions. I hope Al Haramain takes responsibility for their mistakes and makes things right.
Al Haramain Acton branch pure review
I was a student in mr khobaibs class for level 1 then mr ismaeels class for level 2 I was taught how to do tasbeeh by mr Ismaili and I’ll never forget that experience and I also had that time I got selected to represent my class in a national Quran competition even though I was ineligible due to age ratings and all those memories want me to make me answer allah(SWT) call and come back as a teacher
Poplar branch East London
Really disappointed with the teaching and service. My children have had very little support for the whole year, teacher came in 45 minutes late for every lesson. Portals not updated. Very poor communication. This academy is morally wrong in promising to deliver and not delivering. Please seek alternative madrasahs.
My experience with Barking branch.
Last year I enrolled 3 of my kids aged 14, 9 and 7. My older brother enrolled his 3 kids and my younger brother enrolled his child.
We all paid willingly in advance as they were offering a discount for yearly payments.
Firstly we were very impressed by how the curriculum, structure and timetable was explained so well in their website. We went to the open day and were very impressed by their Founder/Super Admin explanation on how structured the day and how concentrated the education will be.
However everything went downhill after the sessions started. At first we thought it’s the first week hence a slow start but things never picked up.
The teachers are not trained. They do not have lesson plans and if they do, either they do not follow them or they’re not delivered adequately. When the issues are raised with the teachers they explain how they’re trying to do their best provided it’s only 1 teacher with a whole class.
I raised the teaching issue (specially boys level 3) with the branch supervisors they said they are aware and they’ve informed the founder plenty of times.
After that I tried to contacted the founder asking for a meeting to discuss the issues. I received a very dismissive and generic reply after trying many times.
The whole year was extremely frustrating for us as parents. We had wasted our money. Our time and were banging our heads against a wall everytime we tried to raise a complaint.
They did take one complaint of mine seriously. They had enrolled a special needs child in boys level 3. He had no separate supervision. He was roaming in and out of class and being physical with other boys. When boys told the teacher, his reply was always to let him be. This went on for months until one day my 9 year old got hurt by him. I messaged them and asked either the child has one to one supervision or I will inform the council about it. They removed the child after that.
Regarding the teaching issues, towards the end of the year they started saying that a new teacher will be joining boys level 3 but that never happened. I gave up. And just patiently waited for the year to end.
Apart from my siblings many other friends had enrolled their children too. None of them are sending them back in September. We are relieved that this ordeal is finally over.
Also they have disabled their Google reviews.
I did not want to do this as it looks…
I did not want to do this as it looks bad on our side, but I believe people need to know what injustice they have done in my case and left me with no choice, I feel like they are rubbing me as and punishing me for my ability, and feel attacked. Before I applied for my child, I made the admission aware of my disability in articulating information, I have also sent them voice notes explaining certain guidelines need to be explained to me verbally due to my ability. They agreed, upon paying £234, which walahi I left it in the hands of Allah as I trusted to be handled with attention to details, my innocence cost me more every month more they have been taking 78 pounds from my account and say I have to pay the annual fee weather I use the platform or not. This should not be acceptable as an Islamic institute, I'm not denying the policies, which I still can't read. I have called in many occasions to be dismissed, As i can't deal with matter's due to my disability, they gave me no clear instructions, Al they say is read the guide lines I've attached all screenshots, I was very uncomfortable I think within 2weeks realized this wasn't disabled friendly and that I will struggle, I couldn't trust my children to join, I requested that as I hope they did colling off period to cancelled as my child did not attend one class but they refused to without acknowledgement, I find it bizarre I wouldn't' sign up and pay for something if I had no intention of going forward, I cancelled due to there lack of care and support towards my accessibility which got dismissed and would like to involve ofsted now. If anyone can advise future that would be very much appreciated 👍🏽 After my review they will show there Innocence but I had to get my story across. This is what's happening with me. I have dealt with being discriminated against with this platform way too long than I should have. My screenshots are not in order 😔
Please do not send your children to…
Please do not send your children to this place, I had sent my children to the new branch in Birmingham. During 6 weeks of attendance they had three different teachers and when I had challenged this, they had said this is normal and that they are all trained. It’s in a large class of around 30 children with 1-2 teachers at best. After 6 weeks attending, they decided to change venues which from where I live added and additional 20-25 minutes onto my journey time in total which could now take up to an hour during peak traffic. I was told this is a part of their Ts and Cs which I signed and I should have read and they can move a venue within 3 miles and we need to be ok with this like they were doing me a favour. Feedback is awful, complaints process is awful they make you feel like it’s professional by using the ‘portal’ but the people at the end who deal with you are not. I’ve lost a £1000 for both my children and they have put me in such a predicament and are not reasonable nor take your personal circumstances into account. Please stick to your local traditional establishments for your children’s and your bank accounts sakes and stay away from these money grabbing people. The service was also chaotic when dropping and licking the children up with no organisation. Never again!
Worst madrasah
Worst madrasah. My daughter attended for 10 months and was only taught Alif - Yaa. I paid £500 for her to learn One page in 10 months!!!? Oh and they take your money upfront so I couldn’t do anything about it.
Disgusting organization they will…
Disgusting organization they will charge you too much money and will keep advance so if you can’t carry on with even any valid reason they will take your all money and your all money will wasted be carefull all parents
Great communication with parents
Great communication with parents, quality student materials and very accomodating branch head teacher (Arafat). Thanks for your support with my child.
My children just finished their…
My children just finished their Madrasah studies at Al Haramain just before holidays and it has been a good choice to continue studies at Al Haramain for my children after researching into all other Madrasah in the area.
My son is in the Hifz class with Ustadh Maghribi and has 2 Juz' left to complete the Qur'aan memorisation, teachers are very supporting and encouraging, they are strict on prioritising the correct and accurate recitation with Tajwid before memorising which I can see the benefits of now Al Hamdolillah, pray my son completes in good health Insha'Allah.
My daughter the younger one is with Ustadha Zoubida, she has been so supportive towards my child especially as she has SEND skills, what my child has achieved (despite having learning difficulties) in such a short space of time has been amazing Tabark Allah. From Alphabet level to now being able to read. My daughter is always talking about her teacher since the holiday break started.
We hope they start a Summer school next year.
I am very satisfied to encourage all my contacts for this Madrasah and my children cant wait to be back.

My daughter went for 7 months she didn’t even learn one surah by heart .
At first they put her in the wrong class for about the first 4 weeks and then she was moved after many phone calls and emails .
She then had to catch up with all the work 4/5 weeks worth and she has been going for 7 months now and has not even learn a surah by heart . I feel that the whole paying for a year in advance policy shouldn’t be in place because we feel that we have paid for the year and have no choice but to send our child even if we are not happy with the outcome . It just seems like a business to me . At the parents evening the ustadah said to me , it will be better if she repeats the year again because her idgaam needs improving . I mean how does this make sense to repeat the whole year again just because of idgaam . I also feel that they do not provide tailored learning for each individual child . I was not happy and I feel like it was a waste of £500.

My experience was made great by the lovely teachers who were consistent and punctual throughout the whole month of Ramadan. I can’t thank them enough. Jazakillahi kheiran. I would also like to commend the sisters who attended every single day to get ajar.
