Very good help for parents with small kids
My daughter broke our neighbors computer by accident, when we were on vacations.
But everything was covered by insurance, so I didn’t have to stress about this situation too much.

Hello, hello!
Last summer my car was hit on the Hungarian highway by a Bulgarian driver who was driving on the emergency lane and then took my face.
Due to the fact that the driver fled the scene of the accident, I reported the accident to the Hungarian police and they drew up a report. My "luck" was that I managed to film the driver while he was running away from me.
When I arrived in Denmark, I reported the accident to Alka. They told me that I don't have any proof that the accident was the fault of the driver WHO RUN AWAY FROM THE PLACE and after that they send me a bill for 4000 (deductible amount) because it was "my fault".
Now I ask you, does it seem normal to you to be hit in traffic and then to pay for your selvrisko under the conditions in which you have footage of the driver and his license plate?!?!
In addition to that, the people from Alka changed my deductivle amount from 4000 to 8000 for a year, because in their eyes I AM GUILTY for being hit by that car.
I will change my insurance company.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!
I loose 4000- but you will gonna loose a client for many years. (I am not that guy who wanna changed the insurances every year, or to produce an accident just to repair his new car)
For ALKA:
Please don't tell me that I suppose to call you just to explain my situation because I did it and that lady told me " Cristian, you know? We paid 20.000 dkk to repair your car!"!!!

Generally speaking, since I cannot comment on the claim due to GDPR rules, it's not that much about who's to blame, but whether we can foot the bill to someone else. In cases where that's not possible and we pay for the damage, the insured party pays the chosen excess. This is somewhat simplified, but I hope you get the gist of it and to my knowledge it's standard practice everywhere.
