Marcia was great, listened to all my undiagnosed issues and found the best policy. Also helped me get it cheaper by removing things I didn’t need. Very easy process.

When i took out the policy a year ago I gave the handler a 5 star review. She was fantastic, friendly, polite and able to answer any questions I had in a helpful clear manner. Sadly when i came to renew it a year later my experience was very different and it was an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience. Obviously the handlers are given set questions they have to ask - i understand and respect that. However the lady refused to explain what some of the questions meant which meant I struggled to answer as the question was not clear. When I asked her to to check with her manager in order to get an explanation she said there was no point as I would get the same answer and that it was up to me. I was not asking for her to answer my question, but to clarify what the question was so I could answer it accurately! I was trying really hard to be accurate with my answers and her lack of help negatively affected that. Whilst she remained calm and had a pleasant tone it was like talking to a brick wall as she just roboticaly read the question again and again. There is no problem with my hearing but with the understanding of the question so this did not help in any way. Very poor customer service. Again I appreciate you need to use standard questions for consistency but the handlers should be able to explain the questions where not clear. I was also extremely concerned that nowhere was I asked how many pills I was on for my heart condition when instead I was asked how many pills I was on for minor ailments - this makes me believe the system is flawed. I intended to put a formal complaint in but lost the email address

Renewed our annual travel insurance. Process was simple and easily understood. The increased price was somewhat of a surprise, but the explanation attached was enlightening.

Helpful and patient assistant.

I purchased a travel insurance policy mainly to cover potential health issues or accidents. However, the policy was also supposed to cover compensation for cancelled or delayed flights.My flight was delayed by over 17 hours, but AllClear rejected my claim due to an 'exception in the small print'. It makes me wonder if they would do the exact same thing in the case of a medical emergency—probably yes...I do not recommend them. Never again will I buy insurance from this company.
