Have used Allied for Home Reports for many, many years in particular David Donnachie who is thorough, professional, very approachable friendly and will go above and beyond. Other surveyors to mention are Eoin MacDonald, Stephen Cunningham, Stefan Findlay to name just a few.

Very professional and straightforward

I moved in to a property, a few month later I tried to get a government grant based on and EPC done by this firm.
I was told by numerous people their property category was incorrect. They’d listed the building as timber frame when it is not a timber frame. There is no cavity wall and therefore no cavity wall insulation. They listed as having it, even though it is clear as day looking at the log cabin, it doesn’t.
They said it didn’t have under floor insulation. It does. There is more but the long and short of it is, they took money and put in as little effort as possible. This deduction is based me talking with other EPC companies.
I informed Allied and they said that to do a correct EPC, I would have to pay for one. They can’t just alter their mistakes

When i contacted Allied i was given all the help and answers i asked about getting the home report, an appointment was set up with the surveyor Keith Campbell who arriver on the set date 5 mins before the allotted time.
Keith sat us down and went through the home report procedure, what he would be looking at and so fourth.
All in all Allied were superb and i would recommend to anybody who needs this type of work done, very professional and helpful.

This is the second time I've used Allied Surveyors. They are efficient and prompt at dealing with requests. Keep you informed of progress and complete the work within the timescale.

Easy to organise survey through website and telephone call. Surveyor was prompt, professional and polite. Survey was done efficiently and had feedback regarding when draft survey would be completed. Draft survey was ready for inspection in 2 days.
