Sucks Sucks Sucks

Placed an order on 9/1 for an item I needed for vacation on 9/29/16. Received an email stating that the warehouse moved and orders would begin shipping on 9/7, fast forward to 9/23 my order is still processing and "might" ship next week. I'll be on vacation. Thanks for nothing!

Horrible Horrible Horrible

I can't believe this company is still in business....They are a total scam to me. They wear you out with all these emails about sales AND they even go as far as to let you place an order for you to wait, wait, wait, and continue to WAIT....at the end of 2 months, when you're really tired of waiting, they CANCEL your order, hahaha! When you call them the customer service number rings forever until it decides to disconnect on it's on or you get that crazy on hold music.

I placed an order using THEIR merchandise credit and after this big turn over, they CANCELLED my 2 merchandise credits and don't refund me the money on the cards. THAT'S MY MONEY that I can't get back nor will the customer service reps give you a number to their corporate office. I don't see how they can get away with it.....I'm about to file a report at the BBB on them, because that's stealing. I have been doing business with them for years, but their customer service is HORRIBLE, from their service reps to their supervisors.

Going downhill fast

What happened to this company?! I have been ordering for years and now my orders are put on hold for months at a time, you hardly ever have the long lengths anymore and now you are charging us for returns?! With an online company, not having free returns is just stupid, especially when most of your sizes are not true to size and you never know what you are going to get. You have lost me as a customer and from all these horrible reviews, looks like you are losing a lot more! Very disappointed!! I will go to Old Navy, tall sizes, cheaper and free returns!

I've been waiting for my refund over here promptly at ten months

I purchase a pair of pants which cost me $41 Somewhere Only of last year they messed up on the size so I had to send it back and I asked for my refund I talked to Alloy representative in June .she was going to issue my refund in a check I have not received it yet and it's 2017 I've been trying to call them and I cannot get in contact with Alloy, very frustrated Lynn from Detroit

Terrible at refunding the appropriate amount.

I made my first purchase at 50% off coupon I had. One item was a dress that ended up being too long (contemplated hemming it) but decided to return it and get the normal length. Used my own label and paid to ship it back. First off, the ended up taking the shipping out of my account when I didn't use their prepaid label. Called and they wanted a copy of my receipts ..sent them and never heard anything. I then get confirmation that the dress in normal length is no longer in stock and cancelled my exchange. I waited two weeks and finally contacted them by email asking when I can expect my refund of the dress and the shipping you took out. They sent back and email saying only a portion of what I paid was refunded because they deducted a 5.95 return fee. I was livid and called them and said I would of been happy to exchange for something that was in stock but they instead just canceled and took more money out...all in all th dress cost me $17 to return with paying for shipping it back was $5 they took additional $6 for their prepaid label I didn't use. And additional $6 for return fee. I shop almost 100% online and will never use their company again!!!!

They don't answer your emails! They don't answer your phones though they have no problem deducting money out of your checking account!! Let me guess... This company is based is New Jersey!? DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

THEY ARE THIEVES

This company is a joke. They won't give me my money. I returned jeans to them over 3 weeks ago and they haven't refunded me. I keep trying to call them and they tell me that my case has been referred to the " escalation department" . I have called everyday for 2 weeks and they keep telling me that they will call me alter that day or the following day. Now they have my item and my money. Not to mention right after I ordered from them, I have another FRAUDULENT charge on my debit card. I am trying to update my billing to get my refund and they never do it, they agent says" I cant update anything and you have to wait for a call ". This is a joke company and I don't ever recommend ordering unless you want to lose. This is the 2nd time something bad happened. I bought another pair of jeans for my g/f and they said it would be here in a week and I call back and they say it was "back ordered for 2 months". I actually waited and 4 months later never got anything. It took nearly calling the governers office to get my money back. GARBAGE! My girlfriend has shopped with you guys for 10 years. You're going to lose a valeuble customer forever. FIX MY DAMN ORDER

No customer service

July 5th i processed and order for which my credit card was charged $174. I've trying for 4 days to get someone on the phone because I was never sent a order number confirmation so I could track my order. What I've Geena getting is please hold for a rep. A long drawn out recording for at least 5 minutes and then the phone disconnects...

So disappointed have had issues with deliveries previously, with them not sending products until they reauthorize but never where this... would rate them a 0 if I could

Bad customer service

I place an order on April 20, 2016, i got a confirmation number and get charged on my credit card. A week later did not receive the item or any more e-mails. I called several times, no answer and average waiting of 15 mins. I have sent e-mails, no answer at all. Finally was able to get a person on the phone and told me that the order number I got over the e-mail did not exist, and didn't give me any other choice. I call my bank to get the charges back. Poor customer service, they don't even try to satisfy the customer, to get the customer back and to try to correct their mistake. Too bad, very disappointed!

Sent wrong item

Alloy sent me the wrong shirt and they had the nerve to charge me for return shipping. They’re the one who messed up! I e-mailed them 3 times and it took 5 weeks for someone to finally respond and credit me for the return postage. This store is such a joke. Every time I’ve ever ordered from them, something has gone wrong. Some of their clothes are decent, but it’s not worth the hassle of dealing with their nonexistent customer service.

poor product, shipping nightmare

Buyer beware!!I have now ordered about 8 pair of jeans from this company with 1 still not delivered. No email with either order to state that certain items were backordered. Had to return half of first order for sizing issues but that's not even the worst of it for me. To date I do not have a single pair of those jeans (all of which are less than 9 months old) that are wearable. 2 pair have ripped at the pockets and the rest the main button has popped off. The first time I thought ok I just need to order bigger size so thts why the second order but nope same problem within 1 month!! These jeans are too expensive to have to buy a new pair after 1 month of wear. This company has lost a customer and I will warn everyone I know that they have poor quality and customer service where there shipping is concerned.

Wish I could give 0 stars

I was so excited when I found their website, I live in Iceland and find it very hard to find long enough pants (I'm 6" tall and mostly just legs). I saw this very awesome looking jeans that come in 37" long! Wow! and at a very good price, even with shipping to Iceland!
I ordered 4 different pairs, gave my paypal information, and got my order confirmation and waited patiently. They should arrive from the US, so they should there for arrive in 6-12 business days.
But no.. no package arrived. No email with tracking number and shipping info either.
So I sent them an email with all my order information, basically just forwarded their order confirmation and asked about my order. The answer I got: "We do not show any record of a recent order and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please check your credit card statement to see if you have a charge. Otherwise, we would be happy to place your order by phone at 1-888-45-ALLOY."
So I asked if I did anything wrong or what happened, how could I get an order number and confirmation of my order if no order existed? I can't call, with the time difference and that long distance is very expansive from here..
Got this answere: "We do apologize for the inconvenience, sadly there wasn't any order placed, that may happen due to a system error."
Right.. no order placed! This got my so mad, but luckly my card had not been charged. Then I looked at the reviews of this store and was sad and angry.
When my anger subsided and my longing for long enough jeans came screaming back, I tried again.. this time, just one pair of jeans.
Two days later I send them an email and asked them to verify that the order came through this time.. but no, just got the same copy/paste answer :"We do not show any record of a recent order and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
No order.. but a good thing my card has not been charged (considering all the other bad review of cards being charged twice and no refunds).. I will not try again.. no long jeans for me.. at least not from Alloy.

4 weeks and no jeans

It's been 4 weeks and I've only received the 2 out of 3 jeans I purchased. I emailed them two weeks ago asking about my order, and received a bogus response. It took way too long to ship out my first two items and I'm still waiting on another item. Their website has been down because it won't let me click the "check my order status" button! I've tried for the past week. No point of contacting customer service again because response is going to bogus!! There are other retailers in the industry so steer away from this one!

Charged twice, terrible customer service

I just canceled half of an order that I originally placed on 11/29 because of a rude employee in your customer service department.

A representative who said her name was “Carmen” attempted to assist me on the phone today. I called because I placed order # 12439140 for "PIPER DBL BTTN BOOTCUT RINSE DENIM 19 35 IN *VM” and "SUPER STRETCH BLK SKINNY BLACK 19 35 IN *VM.” Both were listed on back order until 12/9. When I went to check my order status on 12/9, the status was changed to just “Backordered.”

I sent two emails to Customer Service. Both times, I received the instant reply back, saying I’d receive a response in 24 hours. I received no response.

I called today to clarify when my order would be shipped and to change my shipping address since I’m leaving town and did not anticipate waiting this long.

Additionally, my PayPal account has been charged twice. Once for $42.35 for the entire order, and once for $18.89 for the pants that apparently shipped today.

Carmen explained that my account wasn’t actually changed that. These were holds. I disagreed, and told her that none of these funds were available to me in my PayPal account — so, in fact I WAS being charged twice, and am now technically awaiting a refund. She huffed and said “Oh my God…” Offended, I asked to speak to a supervisor. She said her supervisor wasn’t available and then laughed. I asked if she thought this was funny.

The conversation ended quickly after that. I requested a refund on the item that had not yet been shipped.

I’m very disappointed with the service I received, with the “holds” on my account, and with the attitude with which I was presented.

HATE HATE HATE this company

I love the clothing at this store. BUT the customer service is horrendous! Do not think for one second they care about you or your business! Just to name a few issues I've had include; Holds on orders for weeks because of "system errors" and only after i call them to find out the status am i told of this. No reply to any emails sent to customer service. Rude customer service reps who have no idea how to do their job when you actually do get someone on the phone. The web site NEVER works. The orders are usually wrong when you get them. Then when you try to return the wrong order it takes about a month to get the return slip in the mail and about 2 months for the refund or exchange. Twice they overcharged my card and i had to wait a week to have it off hold on my account. Trust me and most of the other reviews on this sight. Do not waste your time and money.

Alloy Employees are thieves

I went online to purchase a $20 skirt with anticipation to order additional if this arrived to my expectations. However, a computer problem on their site prevented the online order. Thus, I called and made the purchase by phone. To my surprise my account was debited twice for the purchase. Here's the worse - the associate used my account information and went to Target.com and went on a $200. shopping spree Upon my return calls to inform them of the stealing agent, no one was interested in my experience and placed me on their musical holds each time I called back. DO NOT ORDER IF YOU DON'T WANT FRAUD ON YOUR BANKING CARDS!

NEVER AGAIN

I ordered shoes back in August and was told they were back ordered. Here is October and I haven't heard anything about the shoes and I couldn't go check my order status because have of the links on their site don't work. After making a twitter complaint I was emailed saying the shoes had been discontinued ... WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO TELL ME? At the email they said, "I hope you will shop with us again!" .. NO. NEVER AGAIN.

Loyal customer... No More!!

I have been an Alloy customer for more than 10 years. After my most recent experience, they have officially lost me as a customer. My order has been back ordered for over 6 weeks, and despite 2 emails (only one of which was answered yet unhelpful) and numerous phone calls, no one could tell me when my order would ship. Finally I call to cancel my order, wait on hold forever, and I'm told the order is getting ready to ship and I am not allowed to cancel. What?! It was so long ago I don't even want the stuff anymore! I asked to speak to a supervisor, and big surprise, they were "on another call". I was told a supervisor would call me back, which of course never happened. Now, days later I still have no shipping confirmation or tracking info. I expect a return label with this order as the last customer service rep promised. Otherwise, I'll be disputing these charges on my
credit card. Alloy has lost a loyal customer with me. This experience was infuriating and unacceptable!

Unprofessional company. No customer service.

I placed an order with Alloy two weeks ago and received an order confirmation that same day. I have yet to receive any shipping information after TWO WEEKS. The shipping costs $18 and is estimated for a time of 7 to 10 business days. What the hell?! A few nights ago, I sat on hold with customer service for OVER an hour and finally selected the option to leave a callback number. After doing so, the hold music kept playing for another 20 minutes before I hung up out of frustration. The following night I tried again and actually got through to a disinterested, unhelpful customer service rep. She gave me the run-around and said my order couldn't be processed because I paid with PayPal. Why would your company even offer PayPal as a payment option if you can't process such orders??! She said to call back the next day. I told her I would not do that, and she said she'd leave my number with a supervisor who would call in the morning. Twenty-four hours later...no call. I'm not shocked after reading the other TrustPilot reviews. Should any Alloy bigwigs take a gander at my review (not likely since they think customers can go screw themselves), you better get your sh*t together before you end up bankrupt like many catalog-happy, teen-clothing companies like yourself. It's absolutely outrageous that you'd treat your customers in such a way.
