Having been left stranded for 5 hours by the RAC I called allsussexrecovery who were very polite, kept me informed of their progress and were extremely professional at all times. Highly recommended.

Rip off!

My partner hit a pothole and burst two of his tyres. Was told they would get to him within 60-90minutes, 4 hours later they recovered his car. A 5 minute journey to the nearest garage cost £250!! Massive rip off in my opinion!

Total waste of time

Arranged in advance for recovery of my van. Phoned ahead of pick up to be told someone was on their way. No one arrived, but constantly told by them someone is 20 minutes away. 6 hours later still nothing. Cancelled, and rearranged with different company who came on time and for half the price this lot quoted. Avoid at all costs!

I broke down and called this company

I broke down and called this company. I was on my own on a busy road and they got to me very quickly. They kept in contact so I knew where they were and how far away they were from me. The guy that came out was very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great service from all Sussex recovery

Great service from all Sussex recovery. My Range Rover broke down on New Year’s Day. After some panicking we found all Sussex recovery online and they provided us with a great service. They came out to me on the M23 by Handcross within 20 minutes of calling. Nigel picked us up and what a great fella he is. Would definitely recommend there service. Thank you

Total rip off

Total rip off. Wanted £400 to jump start the car. Took about 2 minutes. Scam enterprise. Where’s my refund?

Do not use under any circumstances

Do not use under any circumstances. Arrived four hours late for a scheduled collection. Quoted an all inclusive amount then asked for 25% more (justified by reference to VAT!) when in possession of the car and required payment immediately otherwise threatened to not deliver and impound the car (leveraging a vulnerable situation). Used incredibly abusive and threatening language on the phone to my wife and then to me in order to force through payment. AVOID.

Total scammers. Do not use.
I was stuck on a dual carriageway with a toddler. They took a deposit, said they'd be there within an hour, after I constantly called for updates, saying I had a screaming hungry child, they kept saying they would call the driver again, then eventually I think they blocked my number and never turned up. I finally realised I'd been scammed after waiting 3 hours.
Kicking myself that I didn't check reviews beforehand.

Dishonest/Liars/Expensive/Do NOT Use

Dishonest! Liars! DO NOT USE. 25 miles £300 + VAT. £50 deposit, Me, how much is the rest of the fee? ASR 'lets get it recovered and see how we can help'. Waited 2 hours 45 minutes for recovery after being told it would be 30-40 mins. Booked at 15.45 and recovered at 18.30. Called several times to chase and was told, he was held up, he will be there in 15 mins (16.30) The recovery driver confirmed he didn't get the job until 16.45. DO NOT USE.... DO NOT USE .... NOT VAT REGISTERED.

Absolute cowboys! Avoid!!!

I’m only giving a 1 star review as it is needed to add a review.

This company as others have said are shockingly terrible! Website states recovery from £50, i doubt very much that anyone would get them to even start their engine for that. I was charged £300 for a 5 mile trip to a garage.

On the phone the person stated that the recovery man would look and try to fix the problem at the road side. Well he failed miserably at that when he looked at the car and asked me what the issue was, i explained as he was getting set up to tow the car. He told me he had no idea what was wrong and that he would take it to the garage!

I was made to pay a personal account before he would release my vehicle and then came his heroic accounts of how he has dealt with people who couldn’t or wouldn’t just transfer money to his personal account!

I have been trying for over a week to get a receipt without success!

Charging vat but certainly can’t imagine these cowboys being above board so time for a call to the tax office!

AVOID

I wish I'd come to this site read the reviews before booking. I was quoted £150plus VAT. When the driver arrived he asked for £250. I called the main number and they reiterated that it was £250 because it was a larger vehicle and needed a bigger truck, and he told me that previously. He never told me the increase in price and I don't believe they sent a bigger truck, as the driver complained about the size of the van on arrival, saying they needed a bigger truck! The driver became aggressive and ran towards me when I questioned this. I'm quite upset by the whole experience and it seems to be a common practice.

PLEASE PLEASE AVOID It was my first…

PLEASE PLEASE AVOID It was my first ever break down on A road and I was really stressed so called a friend who gave me the number of this company thinking they are genuine. I didnt check opinions because I wanted to be sorted quickly, oh well where to start now.

It seemed to be professional to start with I called and informed where I was, I was quoted to be paid £250 for recovery (30miles), gave them car registration details, I was asked for card details to take a payment and promised to be recovered within an hour.I didnt check my bank account I was sure, payment was taken. I waited two hours and 20minutes and then I was called from mobile phone and I was told recovery was on the way. Half an hour later I received a call again to give him location via whatsapp even though I already explained where I was. After another half an hour I called company landline, I was told they were surprised that I hadnt been recovered yet. Finally after 3h and 20minute wait, the man arrived.

As I gave my details of debit card before I was sure the service was paid. However, the man told me I have to pay now while we are driving. I told him, send me company details i pay when we arrive. He said no because I can run away and he will not unload car without me paying on the spot to his named account. So unprofessionsl. he become rude and threatening that he has done the job for ages and I have to pay right now and it is company policy. I said you got my debit card details so if I run away you can use it. He said that card details is with customer service and he cant use it and they took it to secure deposit only. God knows whats going to happen with my card details now..
well, the quote was £250 but he told me I must pay £300 because it was plus VAT. he showed me text on his phone but i didnt receive anything on my phone, only quote through phone so cant prove it.
I paid as I was afraid of this man who once was sweet calling me honey, next minute rude.
When we arrived, he unloaded my car, I tried to call company to make a complain. Dont know who answered the landline this time but when I said word "complain", they cut me off immediately.

and on their website there is not even complain policy, total scam
