We recently completed the 12 day EBC trek via Gokyo Ri and wanted to express our appreciation to Alpine Ramble headed by its owner, Dil our guide, Sujal and our porters, Tika and Kul (sorry if I misspelled). The team was flexible with our itinerary (i.e. rebooking dates to accommodate our flights, extending our Chola Pass hiking day and changing mountain lodges, doing the sunset hike for Kala Pathar). We felt safe and supported all through out the trek, our guide Sujal took great pictures, made the extra effort to ensure we get the best rooms (with views, etc.), tried to teach us some Nepalese words (we were able to absorb only the basics :)) and together with our Tika and Kul who worked diligently (could not imagine how our trek would have been without them!), ensured that our well-being are taken care of. The mountain teahouses we were booked in, while basic, are still clean and comfortable.

Besides the amazing views (which is a given) especially those from Gokyo Ri, Chola Pass and Kala Pathar, the experience itself would not have felt truly rewarding and complete without the help of our Alpine Ramble team, danyabhat!!!

Had an unforgettable trek to EBC with our guide Purna Gurung from Alpine Ramble. With over a decade of experience, Purna led our trek with the perfect mix of knowledge, great communication, physical endurance, and emergency response know how. During the trek, a team member of mine suffered severe altitude sickness - Purna went above and beyond to ensure her safety (even pulling an all-nighter to monitor her oxygen levels and arranging for a helicopter evacuation).

I later spoke to other guides from the region, and they seemed to share the same sentiment of admiration and respect for Purna. My sense is that he’s one of the best out there. Wholeheartedly recommend Purna if you’re looking for an experienced guide for virtually any Nepal trek (not limited to EBC).

P/S: Dil Gurung from Alpine Ramble also deserves a shoutout. He helped to liaise with insurance and helicopter companies for the evacuation, which was invaluable in our situation.

Doing the Nar Phu Valley trek was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. 17 days of trekking organised to perfection with professionalism of the highest level. Dil is attentive to any client's needs (and I am not an easy client!), helpful and empathetic: with just a few words, he understood perfectly what I was looking for. My guide Harka was equally knowledgeable and attentive to my physical and mental well-being. We hiked over 5,000 metres and everything went wonderfully well, thanks also to Harka's attention to acclimatisation. To experience this trek slowly was the best gift I could have received. Thanks to Alpine Ramble!

The trek was everything we could’ve dreamed of and more. And Alpine Ramble put the cherry on the cake. Dil was such a big help even before arriving in Nepal. You got a question? Dil got the answers. He’s just a genuine and helpful person. But coming into his office to get briefed for the trek made everything clear. Alpine Ramble is the right choice. Besides the fantastic views and nature (which are a given) our three companions made the trip special in a way we could never imagine. Our porters Dawa and Sonam were such sweethearts and we were so glad that they carried our stuff and were such nice guys. Always in a good mood and with a smile on their faces!
But our guide Laxman is the real hero. What a person and wonderful human being. He cared so much for us, always had the right word to encourage us during the hard times and he just knows everything. He didn’t do his job. He did far more and what he did went far behind of just doing his job. He wanted us to succeed and having the best time of our lives. And we did. Thanks to him and Alpine Ramble. We will come back and we will miss these guys tremendously until then.

It's the second time with them and we will repeat!!! Perfect organization before the trip by Dil and excellent care and accompaniment throughout the trek by our guide Amar and our Porter Gagan. The best!! The route is excellent with varied landscapes from jungle forests to high mountains. Spectacular views of Annapurna and all this with the best attention and with the always happy smile of Amar and Gagan. We recommend it!!!! I just returned from the 8-day version of Annapurna circuit trekk and can't stress enough how much the Alpine ramble team (from Dil the owner to the guides and helpers) contributed to making my first time in Nepal as smooth as possible.
Aashis and Gru (my assigned team for the adventure) always looked after me from the moment we left the hotel on the first day to the very last second of my stay making sure I was comfortable and, above all and most importantly, well fed as they kept giving me things to eat to ensure I had the energy required for each day haha!
Dil even arranged for us to come back to kathmandu in a car instead of the bus which was a tremendous upgrade considering we spent around 12 hours in the return trip from pokhara because of the festival's end and traffic was crazy. I also met some of the other guides and helpers and can say they all share the same spirit and make you feel part of the family and not just a client, which is key for this type of experience.

They do live up to the expectations I had from reading about nepalese hospitality, kindness and respectfulness as everything has been great and will definitely reach out to them the next time I visit the country.

I had a great experience doing the 8-day Langtang Valley Trek with Alpine Ramble! My guide Suman and porter Ram were excellent and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Suman was always very attentive and explained much about the Nepali people and culture—I gained so much more insight into the way of life in Nepal than I could have without his explanations. He also always made sure we went the safest route and paid attention to how I was feeling along the way. Ram was also very attentive and I was super grateful as I would have struggled without his help. I talked with Dil before and after the trek and he was amazing to talk with and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m so glad I got to meet everyone I did during this trek and Alpine Ramble was an excellent choice!

From the first until the last second, everything was planned to perfection. Dil, the owner of Alpine Ramble, welcomed us into the hotel and made sure we were ok and gave us a sleeping bag, duffel bag and down jacket for our trip. Our guide in the mountains, Jiten, was the best guide I have ever had. All in all I would give Alpine Ramble a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Himalaya.

Alpine Ramble is a fantastic company to use for your trek. The trek I spent time in the mountains with was EBC with Gokyo. I have nothing but good thoughts to say about the company, especially my guide Purna.

He was definitely like a brother and helped me along the way. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and humble. I learned a lot while on the trek and shared lots of laughs as well. It was an amazing experience and I had a lot of fun.

I had a wonderful trip with Alpine Ramble, my guide Krishna is very helpful, knowladegable and friendly and also the my helper. I was well looked After by them from the beggining to the end. The Food and accommodation was always super. My trek with Alpine Ramble went amazing and i would certianly come back to Nepal and join this awesome team for my next trip.

I completed the Three Passes Trek with Alpine Rambles and absolutely loved it. My guide Nawang was excellent and incredibly experienced, setting out a clear outline of what to expect from the trip from the outset. The company is run by Dil who is also awesome and always on call if there are any problems (thankfully there weren’t) and always looking to make your experience the best he possibly can.

Dil is the best!
He managed our booking for the entire trip.
We went for the Langtang trek - 6 days trek with an uphill climbing to 5000m high.
The instructor, Ram, who accompanied us in the trek, was always attentive and caring. The porter, Sandip, was great.
Dil, the owner, is a real friend. He was attentive and flexible for our keep changing requests and always managed to control the changes in a timely manner.

If you’re considering trekking in Nepal and want to be with the best agency out there, you have to book with Alpine Ramble Trek! They are the best, hands down! They exceeded all my expectations and I can’t thank them enough for putting me and my trekking group’s safety first while making sure that we had the time of our lives.

My friends and I formed a group of 6 trekkers that trekked to Everest Base Camp (EBC) and back. I cannot begin to say enough good things about our guide Tilak. He is a genuinely fun and optimistic person who puts the safety of the group first while also making sure everyone is having a good time. Tilak is extremely attentive and caring and I can’t imagine a better guide out there for your trekking journey in Nepal. To be honest, I don’t think I could have completed my trek without Tilak. On the EBC trek, Tilak was always encouraging and motivating us to to stay strong while always monitoring our health at the same time. He is a professional guide who understands what to look for when trekkers like me, who were born at sea level, start to show signs of altitude sickness in the mountains. Tilak is like a brother to me now. He is the man!

Dil, the executive manager, is also like a brother to me now! Again, I can’t say enough good things about him. He is a very kind, fun and responsible person who is always willing to help. He will make sure you have the best time possible while trekking and seeing the sights in Nepal. He catered to my every need in regards to scheduling not only my EBC trek but making sure I had things to do after my trek was over too, like going to Chitwan National Park for a Jeep Safari tour and a Canoe trip down the Rapti River. Dil also will schedule a private car transportation for your adventures if you ask. Kumar was my assigned Alpine Ramble Trek driver while in Nepal and he drove me to Sauraha and back to see the Chitwan region. I was kind of dreading a 5 hour car ride one-way at first but I actually had a great time talking with Kumar during our time together and learning about the surrounding areas from him. Dil is the absolute best and I felt lucky to have such an experienced and knowledgeable person to help schedule my activities while in Nepal.

Then there are the porters, the sometimes unsung hero’s of the trekking world. Kurung, Dony, Kumar and Lock all became like family during our trek. We shared stories about our lives and hometowns and I genuinely enjoyed getting to meet and know these guys. These porters are some of the toughest fellas on the planet and are always willing to help. A few of us got high altitude sickness and instead of turning around and giving up, the porters were always there to help us preserve our strength and maintain our health in times of need by carrying our backpacks, at times, while also carrying multiple duffle bags at the same time. Again, I couldn’t have made it without these guys.

In summary, if you are not scheduled with Alpine Ramble Trek to complete your Nepal trekking adventures then you are doing it all wrong. This is the company you need to book with!!! You will not be disappointed as they are all professionals who understand the mountains and will always give their best effort to make your adventures in Nepal one of the greatest experiences of your life.

First of all, Alpine Ramble has exceeded all my expectations, both during and after the trek. They truly do their very best to treat you like family. I can’t say enough good things about this company. As for the trek, itself, it was an amazing experience. My guide and porter were absolutely top notch. It seemed I was in awe of something, at every turn. The scenery and culture are wondrous. And, of course, the view at ABC is worth all the hard work you put in. If this is something you’re interested in, go for it! Alpine Ramble will help you, every step of the way.

Our experience was super positive, the owner of the company Mr. Dil is always available to accomodate any request and he is always able to help or to propose different solutions. All the tours are completely personalized, hence you can make your own experience! They also provide equipment (sleeping bag and down jacket)
During the trekking everithing is organized in all the details, tea houses, breakfasts, lunchs and dinners, you have to take care only about the drinks and to enjoy the experience!
Porters, Guide (Mr. Laxman) and Assitent (Mr. Tika) are available to help, giving suggestions to not get sick (ams) and to explain and present the different villages djuring the trekking.
I'm happy to have choosen Alpine Ramble for this lifetime adveture!

Am Göktürk Kaya and from Germany. I was on the tour with the Company Alpine Rumbles. Am with the Company and with my Guide Amar Gurung very happy. Amar was amazing Guide on the Tour. He has very good experince for this Everest Basecamp tour. I will recommend this company and Amari as a guide to my friends.

Used Alpine Ramble to do the 9 day trek to Everest base camp. They organised everything such as hotel stay, taxis and food. The trek was hard but very rewarding with the views and experience. The trip went smoothly and was a once in a life time journey. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful, he went at our pace and accommodated to our needs ensuring we got to base camp. Would highly recommend Alpine Ramble.

From the moment I got in touch with Alpine Rambles, they couldn’t have been more helpful! Dil who runs the company was very responsive via email and answered any question I had. The whole process of booking was very efficient! Our guide Laxman made the whole experience so enjoyable. He was knowledgeable and made sure we had lots of fun. It is very difficult to express in words the experiences lived during the 15 days that I had the privilege of being in Nepal and meeting and living with such friendly, pleasant, honest people who are always willing to help in every way necessary. Likewise Dil, a memorable human being and always willing to solve any problems with agility, patience and extremely captivating in personal relationships. The only thing I can cite as a regret is not doing more trekking with Alpine Ramble Treks and not staying longer in Nepal.
