CHINESE NOT USA company - Dodgy warranty and request to follow them on social media to get it
This is Chinese NOT USA company (Based in China despite .com website)!!! It is not clear what the warranty is. The document and "warranty" card which arrived with the lights say "Extend warranty for 1 year. Replacement warranty is promised during the warranty period". I emailed them to find out what the "warranty period" is as they do not state it anywhere. Here is the reply which again does not provide any info about the length of the period but requests me to follow them on social media: "Simply scan the QR code on the warranty card, follow our social media accounts, or visit the ALUSSO official website to register as an ALUSSO member, your warranty period will be automatically extended. ALUSSO official website: xxxxx
If any quality issues arise during the warranty period, please contact us at yyy@xxxxx, and we will provide you with a solution." The company is based in China so I would not advise to reply on warranty beyond provided by the purchasing platform (Amazon or Ebay) and definitely do not buy directly from their website. They promise 24h support but they do not provide it. Whenever I message they are "unavailable" and reply in hours with a copy-paste reply.
