scammed by amazon
I had received a gift card for amazon. So on Aug 23 I ordered some running shoes from Amazon. I put in my new mailing address, as my old address was on file in my amazon account. I paid the seller $125.15 for the shoes. I never received them. I contacted amazon on Sept 1 @9am, I spoke to Mahmood an amazon representative, he was not helpful, asked for a manager was transferred to Jane, who said they would contact the seller and get back to me. I heard nothing back at all. On Sept 5 I contacted Amazon again, spoke to Raphael. This representative claimed he could not verify my account, in spite of my providing him my name, address, order#Order DetailsOrdered on August 23, 2021 Order# 701-4593431-5922616Amazon.com.ca, Inc.Item(s) Subtotal:CDN$ 112.52Shipping & Handling:CDN$ 12.63Total before tax:CDN$ 125.15Estimated GST/HST:CDN$ 0.00Estimated PST/RST/QST:CDN$ 0.00Gift Card Amount:-CDN$ 100.00Grand Total:CDN$ 25.15Transactions
Every time I buy something from Amazon…
Every time I buy something from Amazon I feel the future coming on. Fast, cheap, whatever you need?
service is good in my experience.
Steer clear
Nothing good comes from a company like amazon. The quality of their products is terrible, coming straight of random sellers out of Asia with no quality control.
Had a bad experience from amazon
Had a bad experience from amazon, never received my order and still waiting for my refund.
Amazon.ca has really lost it's shine
Amazon.ca has really lost it's shine. I wrote in my delivery instructions to send via Canada Post and NEVER use Purolator. I needed something asap and the delivery was for 2+ weeks later. Chat is horrible, they changed 3 different people chatting w me in a short time. They talked me into joining prime and reordering but the delivery date didn't change. I asked them to delete prime, and they assured me they did - not telling me that I needed to go to my email to follow their link to actually complete the cancellation. The entire experience was unpleasant. Next, I tried calling. I cannot understand their English. Every time I try using the phone option, the customer service agents are almost impossible to understand. Then I feel like a jerk when asking them to repeat. also, the amazon agent wasn't exactly pleasant - I felt that he had disdain in his conversation. Customers should not have to put up w agents who cannot speak clear, good English. It's getting this way everywhere. If amazon gave a crap, they would upgrade their customer service to actually assisting the customer. Even after my settings had not to use Purolator, Amazon did. Not only that, but they shipped from a far province, when it was a common package and I'm sure they could have shipped it from much closer. Purolator missed a connection, and I avoid them for a reason. Another thing, amazon, Purolator, and most other companies are using Covid as an excuse for sloppy service. Several places are giving horrible service (it's Covid's fault). I believe that Amazon is purposefully delivering slower for those who haven't bought prime - to prod them into purchasing prime. Even a year ago Amazon delivered faster w/o prime, and I think they can't get enough money and Prime is a big payday.
I'm looking to buy elsewhere. Supporting brick and mortar businesses is a good thing bc Amazon would love to force everyone to need them bc everyone else was forced out.
Customer service ended chat on me
I had an order that got lost and I had to wait 2 weeks past the original delivery date before I could contact about never receiving it. They apologized and offer either to refund or replace it. I asked how long it was going to take because it was time sensitive. They went ahead and processed the replacement without me agreeing because they couldn’t guarantee me how long it would take to deliver. I had 2 agents tell me it would be shipped within 24hrs and the Oder was placed in my account with an unacceptable delivery time. I asked to speak with a supervisor and someone who identified as a team leader read through the conversation and said my item was lost, wasn’t available and he would be refunding my money. I asked if it was available or not because if it wasn’t then the account and replacement that was in my account was fraud since the item wasn’t available. Then he backtracked and said it was and will ship. I then asked to talk to his supervisor as I was not happy with his? response. He said there was no reason to escalate the issue. I asked 2 more times and he responded that it was his pleasure to assist me and ended the chat. As I was screen capturing the conversation it disappeared from my account. Very poor accountability and service, I’ve never experienced anything like it
After UPS deliver my products to Amazon…
After UPS deliver my products to Amazon Canada it takes at least 3 weeks to see them available for sale. Even then some are transfered to another warehouse making the wait longer. Very damaging for a seasonal business. Also, a customer can destroy a product, return it and get a refund, no question asked. I think supplieers are also customers, no ???
Looking for another fulfilment cie.
Nice company,thank you 😊
Very nice and helpful costumer service, very easy to return any item (Not headache,no stress 😀).
So far no inconvenience and no bad experiences.I always feel worried less when I purchase anything because is very easy to deal with Amazon.
Thank you for making things easier for the costumer. 👍
poor support service
Struggling to get postage refunded
I’ve been struggling to get a refund for postage out if Amazon. It’s been over a week now. Everytime I speak to them it’s 5 to 7 business days. Something has changed with amazon. Never used to be like this.
Amazon Canada Customer Service
Customer service can not help you unless you have a smart phone. I can't get into my account or track my packages, customer service do not know how to handle this. Canceling my account does not seem possible.
80% of my online orders are through…
80% of my online orders are through Amazon. I am satisfied.
Their customer service is terrible!!
Their customer service is terrible!!! Spoke to 2 different customer service reps and a manager (this took 3 hours) and issues still not resolved and I was treated very badly! I won't be shopping with Amazon again!
Amazon is amazing, but its not perfect...yet
Amazon is the first place I go now for most expensive purchases. I want to know what the "Standard" pricing is.
Most often, Amazon has the best price, shipped for free (with Prime) and the shipping time is unmatched in Canada.
The issues I have is with re-sellers and scalpers being supported by the site. I believe Amazon needs to set some standards. Using the current GPU shortage is easy, but this isn't a new issue. I would like to see options to remove 3rd party scammers from my Amazon searches. Aside from that, its one of the best!
Amazon should stand by their customers…
Amazon should stand by their customers when they call you regarding a non delivered item. twice this month, an item was supposed to be delivered by amazon never made it and kept saying sorry delayed and finally someone said item is lost but only after 4 calls.
Second delivery was by one of their contractors intelcom which lied about the delivery and amazon basically told me, we apologize.
Customer support.....hardly!!
Having mistakenly returned a parcel to its origin and not Amazon was a big mistake. Tried contacting customer support for help is a waste of time....every reply back was the same....do they read it off a card??? Wouldn't look into it....too busy counting their cash!!! Thanks for nothing
STOP USING PUROLATOR FOR PRIME!!
I recently ordered a mattress through Amazon Prime. Delivery estimate was 1-2 days, which was important for me because I have started paying rent on a new apartment and I need the mattress to move in. It is now 11 days later and the mattress still hasn't arrived.
No surprise when I find out this delivery was given to Purolator, the worst delivery company on the planet. Of course I would never use Purolator for anything, but the problem with Prime is that you cannot choose the carrier. I contacted Purolator and they said to expect the delivery by February 15 - they have said that, for them, this is normal ETA for a delivery like this. I ordered this package on Jan 28. It's being delivered from Woodbridge to downtown Toronto - a 35 minute drive. It's going to take Purolator EIGHTEEN days, costing me rent the whole time.
I would never have ordered it if I knew it was going to take this long. I pay for Prime specifically for quick delivery, this level of service is unacceptable.
Fast and reliable
I've ordered a few different items from third party sellers on amazon.ca. I can track the progress of the orders, and they always arrived in good time, in good condition. Quite happy with their service.
