I am an Amazon Prime member, and I have never had such fast delivery as from Amazon. Example, I ordered something late on the Saturday and I had the product delivered the next day on the Sunday. Sometimes I cannot find the product I want, which can be frustrating. But most of the time I am able to and I always look on Amazon first when I want to buy something

Amazon is still my best store for buying stuff online. The staff on the platform are usually willing to help even when some sellers refuse to give any response. Therefore, for a happy shopping experience, you just need to be careful because there are some bad sellers hiding on Amazon. Buying online is always challenging from the aspect that you can't see and touch the product until and after you have paid for it and it is delivered at your door. However, Amazon's customer service and return policy completely bridges this gap. First of all the product reviews and rating give you an upfront idea on the reliability of the product. Finally, once you have it and it doesn't meet your expectation, it is very easy to return it back for full refund. I wish they had longer return policy than 30 days as there has been time the the product gave up after couple of months and you are at the mercy of the manufacturer.

I bought a Living Basics espresso maker. It arrived a few days later than suggested. When I received it, the instructions were poor and hard to understand. Finally figured it out but the coffee it made was thin, and frankly lousy. I asked Amazon for a refund. They said 'not our problem' and referred me to the supplier. Living Basics offered me a lousy partial refund, and I was to assume costs of return shipping, and costs of shipping out to me originally. So the net refund wasn't promised, and was going to be less that half of the price I paid. Contacted Amazon, and they didn't respond at all. Nothing! It's sitting here, ready to, packaged etc. But I have no instructions from anyone that includes a refund. I'll use Costco or London Drugs next time. Amazon is not worth the trouble when they won't even answer an email.

I have bought quite a few things off amazon and they are very hit and miss. Both with quality, Customer service and not to mention their couriers. I have either had my items delivered and them not turn up, turn up damaged or thrown over my hack gate or left outside for people to steal and when this has happened I have been in, I am in majority of the time since I work from home but yet nobody has knocked! Then I get an email saying its been delivered! Half the time it hasn't or for all I know its been robbed. I am dealing with a situation atm where I bought a motherboard and kitten biscuits, They didnt turn up but again saying they have but the woman cant find anything saying that its been delivered even though it says it has. Again not got the product. No refund or replacement given or help even! I was just told to wait 24 hours which I did and now they are saying wait 3 days to investigate. Ive paid for these with my laybuy account and this is going to put my account in default and add a late charge! So not only are they messing me about but they are causing me unnecessary trouble!! Im also still waiting for my £120 refund for my pure white large rug that turned up open, ripped and beyond usable. It was rotten! Again no refund given and its been over a year for this one!! Company was contacted, no resolve, Promised by amazon if I don't get a refund from the company they will issue it automatically and take it off the company themselves, This was not done! Going to take this and my current case to ombudsman. amazon a billion dollar company are stingy b*stards and wont give you your money back!! I Get Why These Guys Are On Top
Every time I get cross with Amazon they remind why they are so good at their game! They take responsibility for their mistakes. A rare thing in this day and age. It would take a lot to get me to say anything other than they are a first-class consumer experience (my experience). I hope everyone can sing their praises too but I suspect Amazon isn't perfect either. They have made mistakes with me too but they take responsibility and make things as right as they can be in my experience.

Amazon.ca has been nothing but amazing for me, and they have corrected any issues that arise very quickly.
I have spent a very large amount on Amazon over the years, and I am very impressed with how they handle Customers. If there was ever an issue with my order, they fixed it - or refunded it for going missing. They’ve given me promotional credit for the small things, and even the big things - they always strive to make you happy as a returning Customer.
Not only is most of the stuff I buy cheaper than local, it saves me enough money to focus on other things in life.. rather than being price gouged by our local stores here.

I am having serious problems with the courier service Amazon is using in Canada (ICS). They are not respecting regulations and have already been fined by local governments for these breaches. This has been brought to Amazon's attention on numerous occasions and they are not doing anything about it. This time a delivery was made without prior notification and the tracking status still being at 'shipped'. Despite not opening the door, the package was found in the hallway; a breach of regulations this company has already been fined for 3 years ago.
And now they have found a new excuse not to deal with it: they are requiring you to give all your contact details before they are even talking to you. Giving your name, the order number and an email is not enough apparently. It is clear that Amazon only cares about making as much money at all cost in order to fund Bezos' space ambitions which are certainly outside the scope of the carbon emission offsetting that he has promised....

Terrible. The left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. I had a notice on my orders page that delivery of my order was cancelled and a refund would be made in 3-5 days. I called customer service and was told they couldn’t send a replacement until they received the product back from the courier. The agent then said the package is still in Calgary warehouse, 6 hours from here and he doesn’t know if it can be delivered. Nor will they send a replacement until the item is returned as the packaging was damaged. But they still had the item! I was getting nowhere with the agent so after over an hour of back and forth, I finally had to give up as all I was getting were scripted answers. So I called the courier company (Purolator) who gave me the TRUTH, the package was NOT damaged, it had in fact been mislabeled without a return address and was returned to Amazon for proper labelling. The information I had on my order page apparently won’t show on the shipper page until end of day. Why is there such a disconnect between order depart, shipping and customer service that the customer knows more about status the Amazon does? This is about Amazon.ca
