We always have our pool opened and closed by Ambassador pools and they always do a professional job. Yesterday we had our pool relined by them. The whole process was seamless and we were kept informed all the way through the job as to how it was progressing. Verdun and the two lads were extremely courteous and went over and beyond to help out and keep us well informed of all issues arising.
Jo in the service department in the office is also extremely helpful and always goes out of her way to accommodate visits that are mutually convenient. All is all a five star company. 👍🏻

We had a pool installed by Ambassador Pools some 28 years ago and have been delighted with them ever since. They are always helpful, both for routine items and for urgent problems.
I would particularly commend the West Stour manager, Ashley, for always making the extra effort and thought.

Quick repair. Ordered parts and fitted within 24hours. Very impressed. Very friendly fast customer service.

While carrying out a media change today, Tom provided some extremely useful guidance on how to deal with general maintenance. He also made suggestions on how to adapt processes to accommodate our specific pool. He was polite, helpful and very tidy. Mike in the shop at Park Gate was very helpful too. Happy to recommend this company.

Had a new on-site pool linear fitted and a new Heat pump installed by Ambassador to our pool which they built 24yrs ago!
The new linear was professionally installed and looks fantastic and the new heat pump efficiency is very impressive when compared to the old one.
Would not hesitate to recommend this company for its professionalism, knowledge and friendly no pressure approach.

Whenever I visit Ambassador pools at Park Gate Mike is always helpful and ready to offer friendly advice and tips , no matter what the problem .

Ambassador Pools installed an 'on site liner' to my swimming pool due to water loss.
All the guys involved worked hard , were very professional and helpful.
Throughout from start to finish I was given sound advice and they were always happy to answer my numerous ongoing questions! :)
The finished result looks really great.

I needed to replace my old existing pool liner. Mike and Jo planned the project and kept me updated. They were excellent to deal and answered any questions I had. The pool engineers turned up as planned and did a professional job installing the new liner over two days. Both Darren and Jake were very helpful and respectful and were a delight to work with. I can see there a lot of previous negative reviews but I must say my experience with Ambassador Pools has been most positive. The job was to take out the old liner and underlay from my in ground pool and replace with new as well as fitting new underlay on the side panels and repairing hairline cracks and surface deterioration in the 39 year old walk-in fibreglass steps. The job was completed to the agreed timescale and quoted cost. Mike Bailey the Southampton branch manager was most helpful and courteous throughout, dealing with me in a thoroughly professional manner. Wayne who did the liner replacement and steps repair worked very hard and did an absolutely excellent job paying a lot of attention to detail. I am very pleased with the finished job, the liner fits perfectly and the steps look like new. Would definitely recommend Ambassador. Also, I have been getting my annual pool supplies (chemicals etc) and various equipment items from ‘sister’ company 1st Direct Pools for many years and have found their service to be excellent too.

Have been a customer of Ambassador Pools for 25 years. Exceptional knowledge and service, most recently when my pump inlet was blocked. They lent me a submerged pump and told me how to clear the blockage. It worked first time. Great firm.

My contact at Ambassador Pools is Mr Bailey. He is highly trained and knows all about pools and spas. I can recommend Ambassador Pools and Mr Bailey to anyone looking for pool knowledge and expertise.

We recently purchased a Wellis Hot Tub from Mike at Ambassador Pools Southampton. Mike has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly both before purchasing and also with the after care of the hot tub. We did have one or two small teething problems after the tub was installed but Mike was really proactive and resolved these issues very quickly. We love our new hot tub and would certainly purchase from Ambassador Pools again and will continue to use them in the future.

Having purchased a pool heater a year ago we called them out as heater not working properly had 2 years warranty yet they would only come out to look at if if they charged us £120 .. for a 30 minute visit .. we had no option as heater was not working correctly.
The man that came out said it was working and it is …if you raise the thermostat to say 32 to get pool to heat up to 26! Great !!..so we have paid £120 when something is under warranty when we complained no empathy shown .. will not use them or recommend again!…

Mike couldn’t be more helpful when I popped in to ask advice for my out of the ground swimming pool. I urgently needed it setup as been let down so he arranged someone to come the next day to help me setup the new heater & filter, advised on correct chemicals to purchase & accessories. Highly recommend. I like to support local shops so great to have a trustworthy place to go.

Mike at Ambassador Pools is a real asset to the company. He sold us our pool at a reasonable price. He is so pleasant to deal with and is very customer focused. He helped with advice on how to set it up our pool, what system to use (Filtration, pump & Heating), as well as what chemicals to use. He helped to source items which would have meant that our pool would not be operational without it. Mike is great, Ambassador pools is great and I will not be shopping anywhere else for my pool needs.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR 1ST DIRECT POOLS they are the same company! They completely ignore their returns policy and the consumer rights act. £5000 WORTH OF FAULTY HOT TUB!! They are now completely ignoring us. Good luck if you do buy from these jokers.

Was charged to build a pool over a year ago in my backyard and to this date has not been completed. Per our local regs, we need to pull permits for this pool and those permit require footers to be dug for the deck. To this date a pool is up, footers are not dug, permit is still open and we get nothing but a run around from the owner DANNY about getting these footers dug. I have gone so far as to say all I want him to do is to dig the footers and I will fill with concrete, yet this was his job as per the permit that he knew about and tried to skirt based upon his regs in another state and jurisdiction. Would not recommend ambassador pools for building your pool, they fail to see job is complete and take your money and try to run. But DANNY know who you are dealing with first before you try to run cause this type of business practices will be sure to come back and haunt you. Would not recommend ambassador pool at all for install.
