I have ordered a lamp in August. I didn't get the lamp and then I cancelled the order in the middle of September. Ambiente Direct has confirmed it. I still didn't get the refund.

Shipping a mess, customer service non-existent
I ordered a chair, received a shipping notification three weeks later from DHL. After a few days, I received an e-mail from Ambientedirect saying they’re sorry I refused the delivery, which is complete and utter nonsense. I never had any delivery man at our door. DHL says they delivered the chair to some other furniture retailer in Germany. I’ve sent them an email and I’ve called them several times, but nobody seems to bother picking up the phone.
Edit @20-09-2022: I have received a short apology via email and a refund. The chair I ordered is now 30 percent more expensive, which makes me wonder if somebody at AmbienteDirect realized the original price was too low and simply cancelled my order. In any case, I won't ever order anything else from them.

Long delivery time VERY POOR customer service
Much longer delivery times than listed on the website. No communication, no tracking number. VERY VERY poor customer service, it doesn't seem to exist. No one is answering the phone - I called them at least 25x at different times of the day. And no one ever got back to emails send. I will not buy from Ambiente Direct again.
You have time to respond to customer reviews but not to customer service calls? I did not receive a track and trace. 9 days from order to delivery is longer than indicated on the website. Its OK to be late but please let the customer know or answer customer calls / emails when they want to know when they receive the package.

Wrong items arrived
Hello! I have ordered three same chairs, in Gestell Eiche grau color, but instead only one chair arrived in the correct color and two in light color! I would like to enclose the picture as well.
The problem is that the chairs are transported to Latvia and I can no t send them back!
Please indicate what shall you do about it?!

perfect delivery
Terrible service
Ordered 2 chairs. One was delivered. The other one was send back halfway because DHL scanned the wrong code. Tried to contact several times but the line was hung up out of the blue.
If I do not receive a normal response this week with a new track and trace for the chair I will contact the bank to withdraw the payment. (order 1714332)
update 31-08: Still no news. only a sorry. Would have received a mail yesterday but ofcourse i did not received anuthing. Already waiting 30 minutes via the telephone (think nobody is working). Ig nothing is arranged today i will call the bank to get my money back!

Unreachable, no service, no product
Bought a product that was “in stock”. Took over 5 days to send. Then the wait began. Took over 2 weeks to reach the status that it had been returned to Ambiente Direct. However, in between I had contact with Ambiente Direct. They said they would send out a replacement asap. Nothing received yet. Tried calling them a few times, I’m put in waiting talk to no one and then the connection is broken. On emails they respond, very, very, very slowly or not at all. Very very very bad experience.
Ow and don’t come with replies like, “it’s the transporters problem” that I understand. What I don’t understand is that you don’t give any service at all to people buying high priced products. For that fact, 1 star.
In reply to the reply….this illustrates your problem. If I post on Trustpilot, a reply within a couple of hours. I I email, 4 days and no solution. A good solution would have been to send the replacement immediately and offer some compensation. So as said, no service, bad communication and still no product. You better improve soon, this will cost you customers.

They DO NOT provide any repair service if the product you purchased is out-of warranty. They DO NOT offer any paid repair either!!
I bought HAY chairs about 5 years ago and one of the screw on the leg has been ripped and needs a replacement. It’s just a part that can be easily replaced myself if I could get it. I contacted HAY customer service and confirmed the part can be ordered regardless of the warranty, but ONLY through the dealers. They even gave me the item number. I explained it and gave the item number to the AmbienteDirect customer service, but they rejected to oder it for me and said ‘ of course, it may be that HAY carries the parts individually, or there are also dealers who buy and order individual parts from Hay. But it is not possible for us, because we can only sell and order whole items, and are not a dealer for spare parts.’. So basically AmbienteDirect doesn’t provide any service to the customers once the warranty is expired. Imagine if you purchase an expensive product through they and need a repair after 2 years. AmbienteDirect rejects to help even if it’s a simple single part order! I will never buy a product through this shop!!!

damaged in transit
I received a bench which was damaged on arrival, I immediately emailed company photos & details. They firstly offered me a replacement I said no don’t send a whole new bench just send replaced slat from bench & I’ll get it fixed. The manufacturer Carl Hansen said they didn’t believe It had been damaged transit. Ridiculous customer service.
