You report an issue with your home and they say you need to report it online via our portal, send you the link and then hang up when you're talking. Absolutely astonished at their customer services.
Terrible nerglective don't answer calls…
Terrible nerglective don't answer calls I've had emergency situation with electric meter switching off. I'm left in a basement flat the air is not adequate the bedroom I can't sleep the electric cost me over 300 in one month that's without using any hot water at all which is tied to electic system they have me tied to this thing called meterpay and haven't provided information who my actual provider is. I've notified them for several problems and work men come but never fix an jobs I'm told they will put an order in for parts and never here back I'm awaiting to be compensated for food lost in my fridge during the blackout no response . Shocking just avoid
overview of personal experience
Have been using this company for almost 10 years and on the whole have had very good service. When problems arose, they dealt with them fairly promptly and made sure to satisfy the tenants as well as the landlord.
Horrible landlords
Just avoid them, anyway you can they’re just really bad.
Disgusting and pittyfull
Absolutely disgusting I sent 2 emails to view a property that I wanted to buy I had no reply from either, so I phoned the office and the man was disgustingly rude I was told someone would be intouch and no-one did. Later to find out the property was now for rent Absolutely no interaction with me at all. Absolutely pittyfull and useless

A good friend has used this company and has been let down and given an unforgivable experience.
To leave someone with no radiator in a room for 2 months and with a mould issue is not ideal to say the least.
After this, demanding a hike in rent of £120 PCM.
Laughable at best, at worst an insult to decent tenants.
Poor performance and being let down massively
My friend used this company and they were terrible and was left without any heating during the cold winter we had.
They ignored my friend, didn’t complete repairs for ages making problems worse and the living conditions was at a poor standard for a person to live there. My friend always paid on time and made sure the flat was well looked after and tried to make the best of the worse situation they were and they had no help from the company.
The rent hikes were ridiculous and they didn't give them a good enough reason of why the rent when up when non of the questions and problems raised by then were solved.
Do not use this company, as they will pretend to be helpful when getting a let property from them and then when you have problems they will ignore you and send you on a wild goose chase.

Terrible and neglectful agents
A friend of mine was left without heating for 2 months in the middle of winter. There was also damp and mould growing in the flat. Amco did nothing. Later they demanded a 25% rent increase, less than a year after a previous rent increase. Inhumane, careless, bad!

AMCO are friendly and professional all at the same. You feel like they care, and protect you.
Cannot recommend them highly enough.
Best letting agent in the Nothwest
Despite all the bad press from the other reviews which have been posted by paid activists hired by ACORN UNION I can honestly say that AMCO are the most proactive letting agency I have dealt with both as a tenant and now a landlord, highly recommended!
Cold, Damp, Mould and Rent Hikes
am shocked and disgusted by how my friends have been treated by AMCO
Firstly, their central heating broke in their flat in winter and AMCO were very slow to get it fixed, my friends were so cold that they ended up having to source their own heaters to keep warm
Their flat was also very damp which lead to black mould growing in their bedroom which meant they were breathing it in whilst they slept.
There are also other repairs needed in the flat but despite my friends chasing AMCO about them several times, they are still outstanding.
To add insult to injury, AMCO have also just increased the rent by £120 despite all of these issues my friends have had to face
I just wanted to write this review as I’m so upset by how my dear friends have been treated by this company and I believe that it’s in the public interest that people know about my friends’s experience with AMCO
Not had a good time with amco…
Not had a good time with amco unfortunately, I’ve had outstanding repairs from once we first moved in which are still not fixed, over the recent winter months November,December and January I was left with nearly no heating and prior to being fixed I received a letter of increased rent of 120pcm full well knowing all these outstanding issue. Then soon as I list all these issues and disagreement with the high rent increase they have no accountability and still feel the rent is justified.

Bad maintenance service
Been a tenant for almost 12 months now. Had 2 minor maintenance issues which both took over a week to sort out (second one is still ongoing). Called numerous times and they give the impression that they don't care. In-house maintenance operatives that they use are inefficient and impossible to contact. Always giving promises but never deliver. Very poor service.
