Serena Jenkins deserves a medal! She never once made me feel a bother. She was a very nice lady.

What can I say Trish, Rach,& Janet, are absolutely amazing, they cheer John up so much. Their care is second to none! They have gone above and beyond for John in since they have been coming to care for him. Nothing is too much trouble. John looks forward to seeing them. I can’t not say enough about all 3 of these ladies, they really are diamonds

The carer’s that are looking after me have been absolutely amazing.
They are friendly helpful and put me at ease.
They look after me and I feel comfortable because of the way they give me care.
They are bubbly and as well as giving me care they have the ability to make me smile when we are having a chat. Thank you so much for looking after me.

AVOID! Beware - especially if this company are put in place for EOL care by NHS/social services. They make out they are the 'indispensable angels' they named themselves during COVID. Turn up when they feel like it and create havoc when relatives are trying to cope with a very distressing situation. Hand out dangerous advice, such as 'go out' or 'go to bed and stick your head under the pillow/use headphones' when your loved one is crying out in distress. We were told if we had medical concerns we should consult the GP/nurse...well, I think we all know how difficult that is these days! The only response from them was 'we warned you she was very unwell/dying, what do you expect us to do about it'. As commented by another reviewer, we were told not to undertake any personal care and to leave our relative in a mess until the next visit, but we're then criticised if the pad was wet when they visited. They seem to think elderly people can conveniently empty their bladder/bowels at exactly the moment the carer walks through the door. In and out in 10 minutes but sat in the car for ages before and after. I get that they have to 'write up notes' but does it really take 3 times longer to write about it than do it? Refused to help with collecting prescriptions that hadn't been delivered or collecting a urine sample (despite us being told they would 'take care of everything' I was told that was my responsibility). Obviously they had no idea about the needs of a critically ill person, and would leave at 6pm saying 'all settled for the night' assuming mum would sleep until they turned up at 9am next day. It appeared to me that they were employed by the NHS to continue with the appalling level of care in hospital that resulted in the EOL diagnosis, and actively obstruct my attempts to provide care which may have resulted in recovery. I would say however that I am not complaining about ALL the carers that attended, some did come across as (genuinely?) kind and compassionate but, unfortunately, were simply not allowed/didn't have time to help because they were told they must stick to the schedule and 'follow the care plan' which was simply deal with continence needs 4 times per day and a quick wash in the morning. I have no idea how much time the carers were allocated to deal with her needs/how much they charged for - I assumed a maximum of 30 minutes per visit but it rarely took that long. Despite the carer's assurance to a nurse that they 'would stay as long as needed' to enable me to go for a short walk outside to clear my head, as soon as the nurse left they said they had to go and it was unnecessary for anyone to stay because mum was 'fine to be left alone' for the majority of the time and only needed the brief periods of 'care' provided by them 4 times a day. Please don't be taken in by what they tell you - especially if your relative does live alone and you are unable to witness first hand what is done during visits.

I have many concerns about the service this company in Burton provides but cannot contact anyone to express or resolve them. They simply do not answer the phone - apparently even when their own care workers try to contact them.

Very disappointing. Poor understanding of food safety. Managed to switch mums freezer off twice and lost all frozen meals. Very rushed visits. Communication was poor. There were a few shining stars among staff. Mum deteriorated fast in their care and died 2 days after handover

Worst company to be under
Can't fault the carers but office staff are a waste of space always putting extra work onto care staff even after doing a full waking night shift.then if carer tries to refuse to do care cover they get heavenly penalised or constantly calling them while trying to rest.
Office staff and especially nurse totally ignores the care and wishes of the client. I have become allergic to so feed and nurse has told the carers they must give it to me even though I decline and then carers are bombarded by messages and emails telling them they are not doing there job.ejatcare carers expect to do tie me down and force feed me?
Any complaints the office staff always brush it under the carpet and then make you feel like you have caused the problems.
I feel sorry for anyone who has AMG as the care company and feel so bad for the carers who are forced to work under these conditions as if they complain they are threatening them that there hours will be taken away from them.
I feel like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place bad no other plans to go

Attitude issues, frightening the patients family, foreign staff chatting in their own language and laughing over the patient,
Telling family not to attend to their loved one, expecting them to sit in soiled bedding until they came in the next day, which was not a set time. I am disgusted by this company and would not recommend.

Extremely poor time keeping , I have complained on numerous occasions but nothing changes , sometimes they forget to give mum her medication, we are supposed to have half hour visits , the carers are in and out in about 10 minutes , I have caught them sitting in their cars on the driveway to make up the time . 2 weeks ago I was told by a deputy manager at Crewe that I would be sent a link to an App the carers use so I could see what time they login and out , and what they have done in that time …… I am still waiting . I am at a loss as to what to do only change to care company , the level of service is really not acceptable

Your care and social care and support is absolutely shocking you and social services are letting dad down majorly urine soaked mattresse protecter either left on my clothes. Medication not administered when I'm away.
Soiled adult pants left in the bin in the kitchen which is a food preparation area and the house smells of urine either left by yourself or Micheal John crush and social services need investing as this is definitely not satisfactory safe guarding of my father it is abuse and you are all accountable for negligence

At first - job was decent. Had decent manager.
Currently & has been for the past few months there has been no manager and Nottingham manager has been standing in as well as the operations director and everyone else. Head office are not looking to hire a manager until everything is sorted within the office (as in office staff wise / all original staff have left this complete wreck of a place)
There is no communication between within Lincoln branch and head office, this includes no information to carers either, nobody is kept in the loop.
If you’re going for a care worker job - you’ll get the job as long as you have some sort of care experience or have common sense in answering the questions. I mean this not in the rude way - told to hire anyone as per head office’s directions.
If you’re office staff you aren’t really “trained” as such, you’re either sent to Nottingham to shadow someone for 2 days, or if there is someone in the main Lincoln office to show you, you’re sat with them for 2 days and expected to know every detail of the job and if you’re unsure of what to do or get something wrong, you’re made to feel awful about it. There is honestly no support at all, other staff members within the office may support you, however higher up will never support you.
There is no job security, there was someone who was hired to become co-ordinator and then was gotten rid of within 2 or less months of being in the job because was given no proper training and head office felt she “could not do the job” there was also someone who was hired to become a field supervisor and then was sacked because there was “no work” for her, even after hiring and saying there is plenty of work - few months down the line, they needed a field supervisor but had to advertise this job as “care planner” incase she saw the job.
When care staff phone in sick and there is no one to cover the shift, office staff are forced to go out and deliver care before starting work at 9 or are expected to work 9-5 then go out and cover the whole evening shift and still come into work the next day at 9. If you have any sort of commitments outside of work you are expected to drop everything to cover care work or have on call if someone doesn’t want this.
If someone phones in sick last minute, let’s say at 5 to 5 - everyone is expected to stay behind and ring all care workers to cover the shift and do unpaid overtime even if you have commitments. We was sat in the office gone 11pm some nights, brought this up to head office who refused to pay us any sort of overtime and was told to not do any - but then penalised if work wasn’t covered.
CARE WORKERS -
You’re expected to work 24/7, if they are short staffed then office staff are expected to go through the list of carers even if you have been asked 2/3 times and expect carers to change/swap/cancel plans to help out and cover. They will try and change carers availability and slyly put you down for shifts and hope that you don’t see them, or put in an extra call and hope you don’t see it. You’ll be hassled rotten until you agree to a shift. When desperate there was carers working a night shift and then going onto doing sits in the day then going back out to do a night shift. There is no support for care staff, they are entitled to go into the office and raise concerns etc, this will get raised to head office/Nottingham manager and nothing will happen after this. Head office will try and cover everything if it means they will get in trouble for something. Fuel is not paid for and will not be paid for, although a 5 minute travel time is required between each call, sometimes you’ll be rammed and have 33 calls and then you’ll get a call asking why you haven’t stayed for the full 30 minutes of the visit even though it’s completely impossible.
I would highly recommend staying away from this company, will ruin you mentally and will exhaust you - carer or office staff. It’s not worth it.

Very poor care for my mother. A different carer every visit and poor time keeping. Did not use PPE, did not recognise my mother had caught covid and needed medical attention. Their final visit to her they never even turned on the light to check on her, she was admitted to hospital late that night and passed away.
