One simple thing to say : DON'T BUY FROM THIS SITE!
The shipping time is ridiculously long, Mandarake is a really big site too and they ship after 1 day you paid, there they takes 1 month (when you are lucky!) and it's is not written, when I ask for a cancelation because the long time shipping they start with the joke of long time of refund (you have all slow things on your site??) I wait for the shipping now, in case I will open dispute on PayPal after this month, horrible service and customers service!! STAY FAR FROM AMIAMI!

Amiami is actually really good, it depends on what product you buy as far as i know. For example if you are looking to buy a fumo they deliver quickly and it is packaged well. also the products ARE legitimate if you are worrying about that. I’m not sure about other products, but if you’re a fan of fumos and wanna get one, this in my opinion, is the easiest and most reliable way to get them without spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars for one. Don’t be mistaken though they are still fairly pricy but the quality holds up.

I have several orders of amiami payed, i understand they taking long for christmas season, but that ended a while ago, and they still havent sent half of My orders, they tell You that Ordes are taking 21+ days to get shipped, but even before christmas season they are taking unreasonably long time to get things shipped, so stay away from this decadent store, Even Aliexpress is faster sending things from china that this japanese store

Great site to sometimes find old preowned figures, they package well and overall was a fan of the website! However lately they have slowed down very much with shipping out orders (have had to wait over a month for a couple ems orders,) and when reaching out to customer service about it, they are often very unhelpful and rude about it.

Got a gorgeous Ningguang 1/7 with a DHL from them. Overall took about 3 weeks to get it(Japan to EU). Of course having DHL only is rough, adding here the VAT and an extra CLO tax on top of that adds up nearly to the entire price of this very expensive figure, so if I were to order something cheaper but of the similar weight/size it would literally be double overpay... Regardless, so far so good. Of course I am worried by lots of negative reviews regarding poor communication and closed accounts, so will see how that experience gonna develop.

So I’ve worked with amiami for almost 2 year.

But just recently I missing one payment because I didn’t have money to pay for it because I just payed for my college classes and because I canceled multiple figures months ahead of time. So they closed my account. I even let them know of you circumstances in my email. But the thing that make no sense was because you’re allowed to cancel figures as long as they’re months ahead from lots of other people. But your not allowed to cancel when you’re supposed to pay for the figure and decide last second to cancel it.

So a month ago I contacted them about getting my account back but because because you can’t directly contact the account people you have to contact the general customer support that is very vague on certain things and can sometimes not be direct not telling you things.

So a month later I figured out that you have to contact them, waiting for a response, and deciphering their crappy email that says to re-respond to their email. To have the account people to take a look at your request.

I did not get my account back and the reason for not getting it back is even more unclear. Only saying that I have broken multiple violations that I haven’t been told about. But the weird thing is that they could have closed my account sooner because of these violation but only decided now to do it. After canceling multiple preorders and missing a single payment.

So before getting yourself into this website please consider Solarisjapan, hobbygenki, and animenpc.

They offer down payments, package insurance, have actual customer support that responds quickly, and a general overall better experience just because of these few things.

Absolutely love Amiami, have ordered many times over the past year and never had an issue, products always are in perfect condition :) needs a little knowledge on how to navigate and sort shipping tro your country but there are many sources that explain and make it very easy! bought 2 preowned scale figures of B grade but they were absolutely perfect when they arrived! I bought preorders which shipped fast and were beautiful and they always have new stock and releases so keep checking and you can addorders to ship monthly to save on shipping costs if you combine :) if you live outside of japan expect a month or so for your items to arrive or longer depending on the shipping you choose but dont let it put you off as they have fab prices for authentic figures and merch which can otherwise be tough to find in your home country <3

Terrible account policy or whatever they think they're doing. I actually cancelled 2 of my months long Nendoroid preorders from other site bc I thought it's cheaper here. I provided them all my information and credit card info. After weeks with no update on the orders, I went back to the site to check just to know they closed my account without even sending me an email notifying about it. I contacted them and they said it's closed bc my HOUSE ADDRESS is used by another acc and all who lived in the same house should use ONLY 1 ACCOUNT. Like do they even have an idea what's privacy is? Or at least use some cents to send an email to your customer tell them about the problem. Why AmiAmi so CHEAP about it? I'm surprised this site is famous. The preorders are all closed so get gud right? They basically treat their customer like $#*!. Please save yourself the time, if you are unlucky getting into trouble they have no regard for you, only for their profit.

Received my Pre Order Genshin Impact Ningguang 1/7 scale figure via DHL in 6 days from Amiami. Would not shop anywhere else for my Anime Figures, as AmiAmi has shown time and time again, that they are honest, reliable and timely when handling my orders. Thank you AmiAmi and DHL for the great service you guys provide.

The shipping box has no visible damage， but inside the box，the figure box is packed with just some papers，and I don‘t know why they didn’t use bubble wrap. The box has very obvious damage，but I don't care about the box's condition that much. However，because I also preorder other things on this website， I send an email to them and told them to check the box condition next time， I didn't even request a return or refund or anything it is just advice for improvement. but then this is what they replied to me， they said: “we don't sell our store does not ship packages with visible damage” and so， they don't admit it...

I rarely order from Amiami nowadays, but I decided to buy 3 t-shirts. Which is fine, up until the point until they asked me to pay. Their shop - which isn't exclusively their fault by the way - doesn't accept ANYTHING which is mastercard, be it directly paying with it, or funnily enough, through paypal. Had to find someone with a card which I can pay with in the family. Apart from that, especially recently, their treatment are completely inhuman, along with their support, and if they don't close your account over one of their robotic, stupid rules, then they just refuse to make you able to use cheaper shipping methods. Their official statement is, that packages cannot be sent like a surface parcel over a certain size. That's, Amiami, a lie, as many other companies, and even private persons can do it, way cheaper than your rates. If you can avoid, don't do business with them. Figurines especially (which is usually the main aim for everyone) ships at gargantuan pricing, so steer clear of them. The T-Shirts I ordered (3 of them) shipped for 1990 JPY for a registered small air parcel by the way, if this is relevant info for anyone.

I used amiami literally for years now. Definitely more than 7 years. Now 30 and I see the decline in service, especially after covid.
It feels like every company that has gotten too huge doesn't care about their customers anymore because 'there's always someone else who can replace you as a customer'.
If shipping cost are almost as much as your item which is already in the 100s then you can imagine the reluctance and I'm asking why there's only EMS or DHL.
Only to get the answer the size doesn't fit for surface parcel which I know is not true because I dealt with shippings from japan enough to know the dimensions are the same for EMS & Surface.
I ordered a figure here which is sadly only exclusive on amiami so I had to buy it here. The figure itself is a 1/8 scale.
At another shop, Okini Land, I ordered a figure with a scale of 1/7, so much bigger and way more details but they can ship it with surface. Yeah, very suspicious.
If it comes to figures, except for exclusives you can't buy anywhere else, I will evade this shop like the pest from now on.
Please look for other shops because there are so many right now with way better service.

EDIT: Received my package. Yeah, shipping costs were unnecessarily so expensive. Felt like I opened a Matryoshka. Figure was in a package, then the package was in another, which I can understand because measures so it won't be damaged but I would've stopped here. Amiami thought, shipping wouldn't be expensive enough, so they put it in another bigger package.

I had paid for more then 30 orders on amiami and i missed one payment on a week i was abroad and they closed my account without even reaching out and worst it was during covid so they were holding on 5 orders that i paid for and they canceled them all, like if your closing my account at least send me the items i already paid for, stay away, this site is horrible.

I've never once had a bad experience ordering from amiami. I tend to have a lot preorders which is great because I won't be charged until it's ready to ship. Shipping can vary depending on the size and weight of the package. There's been times when dhl was cheaper than ems or the other way around.

For a collector like me AmiAmi is the perfect site to buy imports, they ship their items quick and with good packaging with low prices. Only downside is the shipping cost for my orders but all import sites have shipping over 20. I’d recommend everyone to use this site

AmiAmi is a joke, and not a funny one either. Absolutely terrible. They're irresponsible and don't care if you're dying. If they don't get their money, they'll ban you. If you ask politely to change your payment method, they'll just ban you. It's almost amazing how they're still alive with how subpar their customer service is. I'd give them a negative score if I could.

I have been using AmiAmi services for about 2 years plus now, and so far, I’ve had no problems. ALWAYS good prices, comparable or BETTER to Mandarake/Jungle Osaka. I order MANY Figures from them, good shipping options(I use DHL as EMS is now higher cost,and I prefer to get me products quickly), not too expensive as all. Their service has been 1st rate, my only complaint would be CONSTANT SERVER PROBLEMS when attempting preorders. I’m happy with AmiAmi, and I’ll be using them again soon!

Worst customer service ever, disrespectful to customers.
They assume single customer could only request customer service once in their life. Refused to provide replacement parts request to manufacturer, ended up I personally request to have replacement parts directly from manufacturer. Fortunately the manufacturer with prompt response and sent me parts directly.
You will not be able to create user accounts for your friends, somehow they track your IP address etc., and will just close your personal user account as well as your friend's without letting you know, until you cannot login.

Despite supposedly having other methods of shipping, AmiAmi refuses to let me purchase goods via any other method than DHL, which costs more than the products themselves. I was given no explanation to why I can't switch shipping to the other methods that they display on their site.

TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!

You might of seen my positive 5 star review a little while back saying how good this website is! Anyway I can’t even say that they are good anymore! So I had pre ordered a pop up parade Toga figure which is beautiful and I paid for it on the 2nd of march we are at the beginning of April now still no parcel normally I have already gotten my figure and would be a happy camper but oh no that’s not the case is it. Anyway I opened a PayPal dispute with them saying no parcel has arrived and told me it could take 8 weeks or even more (explain how long more is a day,week,month,year?) anyway moving on from that I had a pre order pop up saying pay for me so I go to try and buy it and guess what! THEY FROZE MY STUPID ACCOUNT!!! Do they not even care about there loyal customers? Muppets the lot of them!!! Right so I emailed them saying why they froze my account and replied back saying it’s because I opened a dispute with them and if I wish for my account to be unfrozen then I MUST!!! close the dispute! Which the dumbass me decided to do and then found out you can’t open a new dispute with the same item so basically they forced me to and now I could lose £45 of my money on a stupid figure (not that the figure is stupid just the company) I have been a costumer for a year at least maybe even more at this point! Anyway they won’t get anymore money of me!!! What muppets! They can just ban my account completely if they want to and I did email them back saying I closed the dispute and if they can unfreeze my account and what I should do if my figure never ends up showing up and they haven’t even acknowledged me so they know where they can shove it!!!! Rubbish company! Don’t even care about costumers 🙄
