Paid from expensive tickets row 3 and view was blocked on the right side with large drums.
We felt we were only watching half a show and unable to see all the orchestra.
It was very repetitive since we saw his show 10 years
Would not recommend to anyone as we feel we wasted our money being unable to see the complete stage.
Never never again.need a refund!!!!!!

I watched Andre Riue's Birthday Party…

I watched Andre Riue's Birthday Party at the cinema. I booked the seats in advance. When I left the cinema I felt I'd been conned. The film was just a compilation of concerts spliced together.
So disappointed with Andre :(

A Christmas special with no soul. Just greed in tinsel.

€600 for four tickets and a 6.5-hour round trip for what turned out to be a tightly packed, industrial-scale cash grab. The so-called Christmas market was a joke: thousands of people, seating for only a few hundred, chaotic funneling everywhere.

Everything costs extra. Extortionate food and drinks. Even paying to hang up your coat. Only a handful of actual Christmas songs were performed. The chairs were brutally uncomfortable. The toilets were portable units with endless queues.

Worst of all: zero meaningful accessibility disclosure. My 70-year-old, mobility-impaired mother had to climb steep, ridiculous steps to reach her seat. It was stressful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable.

This wasn’t festive. It was premium pricing for a budget experience.
If zero stars were possible, that’s what this deserves

FAR FAR too much TALKING.

FAR FAR too much TALKING.
The older Andre gets, the more he like to hear the sound of his own voice... The trouble is, most people DON'T. People go mainly to hear the MUSIC by the the Andre Rieu musicians and not Andre Rieu all the time.

we visited the 2025 concert Maastricht Vrijthof, we like to call Mr Andre, Mr Repeat!!
Almost everything was the same. Nothing new.
Shame on you Andre.
Why no new songs? why no new artists?
I think the special guests, two 77 year old men are glad to come for free!

Disappointed

10 May 2025 - Birmingham
Have seen him once before last year. Not sure if the first time the experience made it feel better but I don't think so.
The tenors, whilst very good had a lot of time on stage. The young lady with the stomach issue is just too screechy. The tenors would have been better doing 'you raise me up'. What was the anvil bit about!! Andre played his violin twice I think. And the show was over too quickly. Way too many people very slow returning after the break - so much so that Andre had to wait for about 15 minutes. Something maybe should be done about that. They only did 40 minutes before retiring for a break by the way!
All-in-all, just disappointing.

Ovo Arena Wembley May 25

Ovo Arena Wembley. 9/5/25. Very disappointing and uncomfortable evening on a hard wobbly seat. Far too much opera which I absolutely hate. I had to wear ear plugs through the screeching racket provided by the lady singers. People arriving constantly through the whole performance was very distracting, staff running around finding peoples seats and disturbing seated guests to allow late comers to get to their seats. One party of 4 arrived 1 minute before the very early interval. I spent 6 hours travelling and I was so disappointed with the whole evening. It should be called Andre does Opera. Don’t waste your money unless you’re an opera fan. I was looking forward to hearing an orchestra play classical pieces. The overall performance seemed short and finished earlier than expected. Feel sad and cheated to be honest.

OK event and we've seen it now.

OK event and we've seen it now.

We went to Wembley to see Andre as a rememberence to my late father, who was a huge fan, and we came away feeling short changed. Something was missing, other than my father. The acoustics were poor, we could barely understand Andre as his microphone was terrible and there seemed no atmosphere to the event.

A side note is that the website said the show ended at 22.40 however it was all done and dusted by 21.40

Very disappointing evening

Big fan of Andre Rieu and have seen many, many of his shows around the world. Looking forward to seeing him at Wembley but v.disappointed. Acoustics dreadful and there were 2 women directly in front of us who spent the entire 1st half scrolling their phones and sending facebook messages and texts. The flashing lights were distracting and despite us asking them politely to stop, they didn't. We were walking out at the intermission when the front of house manager offered to find us alternative seats, which were much appreciated. Can they not just ask the audience not to use their phones? The tiered seating with absolutely no handrails is a nightmare climbing up and down for anybody elderly or not so mobile, and we have various kind members of the audience to thank for assisting my husband. It finished very early and Andre actually seemed quite bored with the whole thing. Really a waste of money.

So looking forward to seeing Andre…

So looking forward to seeing Andre Rieu, as it was a birthday present for my husband.
Concert was good but could have been much better. Seats awful, phones should be banned, l didn't pay over £100 to look at someone's phone, right in the way of stage, when we went to Abba, they banned phones, so everyone could just enjoy on the show! Why at half time, people weren't stopped going back in when they were late? So off putting and rude for everyone.

Wembley Arena

The venue for the London concerts really does need rethinking - Wembley Arena is not suitable. It’s to big and uncomfortable. Poor acoustics. The before concert, interval people management is chaotic and poor as people not in seats when performance started both at beginning and interval. I however feel this is normal from Andres bored oh I’m back but you’re not commenting. The venue was not well signed and floors noisy allowing echo’s of loose boards banging whilst performance happening. Lots of staff wandering round with lost audience members all through concert. The venue also was to brightly lit during most of the performance.
The general performance was dull and lacked inspiration (especially compared with some on YouTube I have watched). The music on the whole slightly uneventful. The Blue Danube Waltz was expected, predictable and again dull there was not really enough safe space for those wishing to dance. A couple of performers stood out but even then the dialogue from Andre is flat and not natural it’s not meaningful in his presentation. I think it’s the same at each event as I’ve heard it on YouTube. I feel he and the orchestra are tired, uninspired and bored doing same concert night after night. Andre never played solo and rarely with orchestra.
The seating was uncomfortable so glad to finish and leave.
The venue holds 12,500 and tickets average (not cheap) for an event in London so I felt a little more imaginative and inspired program would have been nice - it’s London on VE Day so maybe a tribute tailored to that for example.
There’s no doubt that Andre and his orchestra and team are talented but I felt it’s now more like a factory production event rather than that something special event. I would not go again.
Maybe after 37 years it’s time to retire or please reinvent.
I heard lots of the audience feeling disappointed and some had made special trips to the venue whilst on vacation or from other parts of the UK.
Andres stage presence was flat and uninteresting there was little direction of when the interval was starting and finishing- the concert seemed rushed at the end and finished before time expected. Many like myself left during the encore as had enough by then.
Such a shame as London should be a showcase concert and leave audiences spellbound but instead I felt I’d watched clips from YouTube and poor ones at that.

Waste of money

You go to Andre Rieu for the classic waltz music - not for the Macarena and Delilah! Trite nonsense and finished far earlier than timings provided. Tickets not cheap and felt ripped off.

The orchestra was brilliant

The orchestra was brilliant, but overall I felt the event was the same old thing and it started at 19.30 and finished at 22.00 almost to the second, Andre Rieu just didn't seem right. Just change the chat at every event and mean it. Is it becoming tedious Andre.

Co op live show Manchester

Went to Co op live to watch the show 3rd April 2025. The venue was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. The show started at 7.30pm. Can't fault the music , fabulous . At 8.20pm all of the musicians walked off the stage including andre for a 'break' . However no one said anything which left the audience a bit confused. About 15 mins later they came back and the music started again and they played until 9.20pm when it finished. In total the music was played for 1hr 35mins. The tickets were quite expensive and quite a few of the people around me were not happy. Everyone expected that the show would finish around 10.30pm
