Premium Chicken Eggs Delivered
Angel Acres sells premium chicken eggs to be shipped to your home. I found them through someone who mentioned them on another website. Please go to their site to find out why the eggs they provide may be right for you. I placed my first order which arrived in just a couple of days. I was super excited to see and taste the treasures inside the box. Unfortunately, most of the eggs at one end of the box (there were 4 dozen inside) had been damaged to the extent that yokes and whites were all over everything. I had to spend the next half hour carefully going through the mess and wiping off the eggs that hadn't been damaged. It was obvious that this was certainly not the fault of Angel Acres, but FedEx and the way they handled the package. The eggs were packaged very well and the best I could figure (even though there was tape on the box that clearly said FRAGILE in large red letters), FedEx must have dropped the box from a high spot during transit, or they just didn't care and threw it forcefully. Anyway, that being said, the eggs that survived are amazing. They taste the way eggs should taste. I was expecting the yokes to be a bit more yellow than they were, but I am pleased with the color. The shells are not as hard as I was expecting either, but they aren't weak like store-bought eggs. Angel Acres did make it right and promptly refunded what I paid for the 11 eggs that didn't survive the trip (after submitting pictures of the damage, I received a reply the same day). Angel Acres eggs are wonderful, but I will not be ordering again anytime soon. I would not want to go through this again and, more importantly, I can not accept that much waste. Angel Acres offers a subscription or one time orders. You will more than likely need to get on their waiting list if you would like to order because the eggs are FRESH (and I mean fresh... none of their eggs are more than 7 days old when they ship) and they ship on a first come, first serve basis (subscription orders always take precedence). Anyway, don't be afraid to try ordering eggs from Angel Acres. I doubt that every experience is like mine because if that was the case, they wouldn't have a successful business. I would expect a couple of eggs to be cracked though, regardless. They are eggs after all!
