Bone conduction earbuds; great product...for the few months it works.

Well, the product itself - the Anker soundcore AeroFit Pro Open-Ear Headphones Wireless Earbuds - was excellent...for as long as it worked. Unfortunately, that wasn't very long at all.

Less than 2 months after delivery, the left earbud stopped receiving a charge from the charging case. Anker's customer service department, to their credit, immediately agreed to replace the product upon return of the original unit, which I did. I was sent a replacement; this stopped working, same reason, after 5 months. Anker agreed to a second replacement (this time without my having to go to the bother of returning the faulty one). The wording of their confirmatory e-mail, however, strongly suggested that this would be the last time a replacement would be issued, the implication being that the repeated failure of their product was somehow my fault. It read, "I would like to send you ONE MORE REPLACEMENT" (my emphasis). I took this to mean that should the second replacement stop working, well...there you are, suck it up.

The replacement's replacement stopped working, in precisely the same way as its predecessors and after a similar period of use. Predictably, it was again the left earbud that failed; I now had two useless units, identical to a fault. I didn't bother contacting Anker again.

It wasn't as if I was a heavy user. My training consists of short-burst hill and grass runs and quality gym work of limited duration, so I'm not sweating excessively and the amount of time the earbuds were actually in use was minimal.

The lesson? I can't speak for all Anker products, but if I were you I'd avoid this one. Absolutely superb while it lasts, but £149 is a fair chunk of money to fritter away on something that packs-in after a matter of weeks (three times!).

My device was still under warranty when…

My device was still under warranty when it stopped working, so I contacted the company expecting proper support. Instead, they offered me a 17% refund, which is an unacceptable response for a product that failed during the warranty period. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs.

Trying to get my item replaced through…

Trying to get my item replaced through their warranty replacement, item is completely dead and is boxed up. Sent all evidence yet always asking for me. As I am disabled and live by myself this is already a struggle. Under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Equality Act 2010, you are entitled to a warranty replacement when a product is faulty and within its guarantee period. Continuously refusing to process your claim despite receiving full evidence may constitute a breach of your statutory rights. Furthermore, if the repeated demands and delays are linked to your disability or result in less favourable treatment compared to other customers, this could amount to unlawful discrimination under the Equality Act 2010, which obliges companies to make reasonable adjustments for disabled individuals. I will move forward with reporting this further to Trading Standard if needs be.

Written Commitments Broken — 11 Weeks, No Replacement, UAE Consumer Complaint Filed

I purchased the Anker Solix PowerHouse F2000 from Amazon.ae in 2023. The unit developed a charging fault and I raised a support ticket (#ANKER-TND9135259553) in January 2026.
After weeks of back-and-forth, Anker's technical team confirmed in writing on April 1, 2026 that the unit has a verified fault that cannot be resolved through troubleshooting, and committed in writing to a replacement of similar capacity. This was reaffirmed on April 8, 2026.
Since then, Anker has reversed its position twice (April 6 and April 15), re-proposing inspection and potential paid repair — directly contradicting their own written confirmation and replacement commitment. Multiple promises of 24–48 hour updates were not honoured.
The case has now been open for 11 weeks with zero resolution. I have since filed a formal complaint with the UAE Ministry of Economy Consumer Protection Department.
The product failure is one thing. The deliberate reversal of written commitments and systematic delay tactics are what make this experience truly unacceptable. Avoid if you expect warranty promises to be honoured.

Awful and confusing customer service

Awful and confusing customer service. I needed to return an item and emailed them. Went through many emails of them trying to convince me to keep the product, wanted to return it anyway. Finally they said ship it back at my expense and tell us the tracking number and carrier. When I did that they said “use the online return system”! When I looked at that system it said return only thru post office (I had already spent $24 to return thru UPS)… now they’re saying it will take longer to process since I am using email to process the return. I will NEVER buy from their site again. Buyer beware.

Charger works phenomenally, some cable issues though

Charger works phenomenally. After a couple weeks of normal and regular use, the charging cable that came with the charger has been giving me some issues as far as only charging at a specific angle, but my other USB-C to USB-C cord works just fine.
