Chalk Paint First Time User
Quick shipping and quality product! I used Chalk Paint on 2 twin size wooden bed frames. They turned out really nice, the paint was easy to use and I had fun giving new life to these old bed frames!

Streaky paint! I purchased three colors of chalk paint…
I purchased three colors of chalk paint to mix; 3 quarts of amsterdam green, 1 quart athenian black, and 1 quart Oxford navy. It gave me the exact deep forest green I was hoping for, it’s rich and lush and dries to a velvet like finish. The cons are that the paint is incredibly thick and does not get you far, I used much more than I anticipated and even after two coats on my wood floors I was left with tons of roller marks. I started googling around and found out that with this brand you have to dilute it with water if you don’t want brush strokes! I’m really annoyed that I now have to try to guess how much water to add and do yet another coat to try to even it out. I’ve used Autentico chalk paint in the past which is much thinner, a little goes a long way, and it’s completely streak-free. I’ll be sticking to that brand in the future. What a hassle.

Best color ever
In Germany only ordering the chalkpaint is possible. I enjoyed to go in a Shop „Winterbearhome“ in London to see which colors are there, how do they look and so on. Back home I finished my project with Old White and Clear Wax and brown wax and I am overwhelmed. The color is phantastic. I hope to join a workshop in London next year.

this was the first time i mixed some colours and it came out just as i wanted however it would be good to have a fact sheet about colour mixing as it is 'hit and mis' also to know the length of time between coats of waxing.
