We can’t honestly recommend Antony quirks highly enough the team are truly amazing so friendly and massively helpful with any question asked, we brought our house through them 3 years and now we selling through them and hopefully 🙏 if the right property comes up buy from them again 👍 we have definitely made friends for life love you lots guys Charlene and Jamie xx

However within this business they care so much about there clients and they keep you informed every step of the way. There is nothing hidden and no lies told they are just great we would like to thank them again for the perfect service of selling our house. Found,the staff specifically Ryan and Georgia ,to be professional, friendly and very helpful. I've used most of the other agents on the island and quirks by far the best.

We sold my mum’s bungalow very quickly with Anthony Quirk. We had a few bumps in the road with the bottom of the chain, but Georgia was there every step of the way, pushing to sort every problem out.

First of all we got recommended by our friend who sold through AQ. Great support from Chris and Reece. Updated regularly from our chain and was great to hear the process as it was happening. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!!!

We had a slow start with the sale of our property, but once an offer was accepted the service received by the team (mainly Georgia) was fabulous. We were kept in informed every step of the way, with a friendly phone call and explanation of the things we did not understand. Quirk keep asking us to post a review, so here it is!

We didn’t use AQ for our sale we used Poyntz as our mortgage brokeris there but the home we purchased was sold by them. This is our experience.

- The fact we chose Poyntz was held over us & we were constantly reminded how we “didn’t choose them” & we felt penalised

- It became very difficult to view Quirk properties even if we called immediately after the property launch we would not hear for hours/days. They didn’t respect the fact we worked Saturdays which was ironic as the agents did too

- Once when we viewed a AQ property the sellers had already decided to accept an offer from someone who had turned up on the doorstep before the open day but AQ done the open day anyway. This wasn’t fair as we were denied the chance to see it sooner & would have made a similar offer. Rico did not deter us turning up on doorsteps ourselves

- When we viewed our future home with AQ Ryan made it very clear that our offer was about to be accepted but we were outbid at the last second. AQ said there was a “gulf” between these offers. A few weeks later the property appeared on Rightmove with a note saying sold STC. When we rang Quirk’s with concern that it had become available & then sold without our knowledge AQ said it was the same buyer who out-bid us. The buyers told us that in fact AQ had got a new buyer without telling us it was available & the sellers had no idea we were still interested & opted to go with us straight away. They also said there wasn’t a “gulf” between our offer & the offer we were outbid by ; AQ encouraged them to take the other offer even though the chain was longer as it was a chain of AQ properties

- As we turned up at the property to speak to the sellers (who we met before) Rico called my husband a hypocrite

- Once our offer was accepted it took 5 months for the vendors to find an onward purchase which was the end of the chain but AQ asked us for more money stating their clients wanted £370k when it was listed for offers over £340k. Rico saoid to ask our buyers for more money! We slightly increased our offer out of fear they would re-market the property

- Our buyers told us Rico had tried to convince them to not buy our property but to buy an AQ property. This would have disrupted the whole chain & could have jeopardised their clients chances of securing an onward purchase. This was a really upsetting & made us feel AQ were working against us

- Georgia said this was moving “quicker than expected” although we marketed our home in January, sold in March, had our offer accepted in May & the vendors secured their property in October. January completion is not quick even for the vacant probate property at the top of the chain

- On completion day Ryan called at 12:30 to say we had completed & the sellers had until 2pm to hand the keys in. At 2pm we went into AQ to find no estate agents & no keys. Around 3pm the mortgage broker told us Ryan said they were on their way with the keys but they were still loading the van. Anthony suggested we do a direct key transfer but didn't tell their clients. Not a single estate agent nor Georgia was in the office on completion day which was ridiculous; they were 1 1/2 hours late vacating & it was almost impossible for us or our solicitor to get hold of an agent. Rico’s explanation for the late vacate was that “some people have more stuff than others” which is unacceptable when the contract stipulates 2pm & Ryan told us they had until 2pm at the latest. There was no apology or understanding

- All keys should have been handed in Friday 21st by 2pm but we didn’t get the other key until Saturday 22nd at 6pm! No apology or understanding from Rico but he asked us to leave a review! The house was left filthy with a mountain of rubbish & AQ were unfussed

Estate agents are meant to help you buy a home. Quirk have made it extremely difficult to buy our home & that’s the easiest way I can put it. The reason we did not take this further during the process is because we were afraid AQ would line up another buyer for our home.

I recommend this estate agent, experience and very helpful team.
