You will definitely get plenty of information. And plenty of phone calls. When you find a facility, make sure to let them know, and they will stop the emails and phone calls. The advocate was helpful, attentive and understanding. Would have been 5 stars, but they referred us to Patriot Angels for Veteran's services, who work for a fee. Your local Veteran's Service Commission provides the same service for free.

Company has to pay them to be included and advertised- it’s not inclusive

At first, I thought A Place for Mom was one of those brokers for nursing homes. After talking with them, I found them to be very caring and concerned about the placement of my dad. When I first called, I got a Southeast Asian call center, but after that, I got better calls. My dad has been evicted from 2 memory care facilities and turned down by several. I called one of the memory care facilities, and they suggested calling Story Point. They were the #1 memory care for dementia care. My dad is a level 3 and has aggression with his dementia. They called every week or so to see how things were going. I would highly recommend A Place For Mom.

A Place for Mom was very helpful in finding my Aunt an place to live - their recommendations were thoughtful and fitting. They followed up to make sure that I didn't need any further help - Highly recommend!!!!

I was very overwhelmed and stressed and everyone was kind and gave me the information I needed to find a nice place for my dad. I was even able to negotiate for a better price to help my dad on a fixed income. Thank you!

A skilled nursing facility reached out to ask the patient's current facility for medical information/status AFTER I expressly indicated that the patient remains hospitalized and our goal is to return to the current facility. Due to the actions of the skilled nursing facility, with information they learned through A Place for Mom, I am now repairing the relationship with the current facility.

First contact for referrals went great. However when I asked verbally, via email, and on the referral email for more referrals, different information, etc, zilch. Also received reminders for tour appointments a 5 a.m, which woke me up. Overall disappointed in followup. We were in a crisis situation and overall disappointed that advisor did not come through. Still haven't heard from him, a week later, except for automated requests for reviews.

Q was excellent in listening to our needs and narrowing down to several options. He set-up and confirmed appointments for tour and then followed up to see how things went and if we had questions. We were on a compressed timeline. Don’t know what we would have done without the assistance.

Christy was wonderful and did most of the hard work to find places to visit. She stayed in touch to make sure we were visiting the correct places. Thanks for everything @

Good communication. Helped me book tours and followed up often. I don't know that their ratings were helpful or accurate though.

Valerie was extremely helpful and organized. They were kinds, compassionate and insightful in providing suggestions and options that worked within our parameters. She Jax excellent followup and I would highly recommend them.

There was a lot of follow up with my Care Representative, first Sean and then Chris. They were always supportive and allowed me to make the best choice I could for my husband's care.

This is a much needed service provided at no cost to the individuals and families. When I called, A Place for Mom quickly evaluated the needs of my mother-in-law and provided immediate guidance. Remarkably, the first facility that they mentioned ended up being where we placed my mother-in-law. The local advisor assigned to me, Erin, was knowledgeable and always responsive to my questions. This organization made the process of finding care much more manageable than it would have been otherwise.

A Place for Mom found a place for my friend, who had fallen and moved to a rehabilitation facility after being released from the hospital. They not only found a place that accepted my friend but offered support and encouragement during the process.

I can’t say enough about how great A place for Mom has been. I checked with another agency last year and was really discouraged but thought I would try one more time and from day one they were spot on. I spoke with a gentleman and told him what I needed, he hooked me up with DeeKenna and I had 4 places to look at same day. Communication was great! Found the perfect place for my parents, an active community Revel that they are excited for, moving in today. Thank you so much, would not have found this place without you and best part, no stress looking which I experienced the first time.
