The service was helpful in listening to my criteria and finding places that I would consider for my mother. They also made it helpful to book appointments and help me understand what criteria I should think about to evaluate.

My mother was in a rehab facility and her stay was about to end as far as Medicare was concerned. I really needed to find an assisted living facility quickly for my mother since it was clear that she could not go back to living in her house. I spoke to someone from A Place for Mom who asked what my mother's needs were and set up appointments for me to visit 3 facilities in my area. They were all nice and we chose one close to my home. I really appreciated their help. Everything happened very quickly. It was a very positive experience.

Having support is crucial. They provided so much information, helped with many options and resources; we truly had no clue where to start or what was needed, A Place for Mom was there to guide us.

My mom was living independently until an illness, put her in the hospital, and rehab followed. I had a limited amount of time to find an assisted living community for her, and A Place For Mom made it so easy to do. I was able to secure her a room in a wonderful facility close to my home within a week. I highly recommend using their services! My advisor was very attentive, friendly and had genuine empathy for what we were going through.

These people are VULTURES and WOLVES in sheep's clothing. They come-on ALL STICKY SWEET when your FAMILY is in a very confused and vulnerable spot over an elderly/disabled loved. BUT this company despite all their rap about "Oh, we're ONLY HERE FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONE; LET US HELP ----YOU !!!," THEY SECRETLY ARE ONLY OUT FOR MONEY, and MORE MONEY. They are NOT your friends, in any way. Do NOT be deluded. BEWARE of the company, "A PLACE FOR MOM," do NOT BE VICTIMIZED. (They spend hundreds as hundreds of dollars in paid ADVERTISING. ) I beg of you, RUN as fast as you can away from these crooks. Jessica is so easy to work with. She had a clear understanding of how to help my family navigate this new need for our Mother. She had answers for every question we had. She visited my Mother in the emergency room on the second day of Mom’s stay there (yes Kaiser didn’t admit her to hospital during the 3 days of her stay in ER for a broken neck)
Jessica and her team also kept in touch without over doing it.
Jessica also came to see Mom in the Board and Care we found and placed Mom in!

It's all about the people you come into contact with and how much they want to help you. My advisor did all she could to make this process as easy as possible.

Omg so creepy! I told them l decided l didn’t need them and was continuously called, contacted and texted by someone who aggressively pursued me why l didn’t want to use them, even after l told them to STOP contacting me. Upsetting, rude and downright scary. Ew.

My advisor was very helpful. Made looking for the right place so much easier and not so stressful.

"A Place for Mom" provided loads of useful info. They assigned a sort of case worker (sales person), to personally help me. Friendly, capable, pleasant person. After gathering info over the phone about our particular needs, he provided a list of places that seemed a good match. Excellent. Then he checked in on me numerous times over the following 2 weeks, all of which I ignored. I really just wanted help identifying places that might be a match, then i felt fine taking it from there. I imagine their model is especially helpful to folks who are more overwhelmed and want an active partner in the hunt. Still, I'm glad I contacted them and I made good use of the valuable list of places they suggested.

From the very start the representative with whom I worked with was very responsive to my needs in finding placement for my mom. She was quick to respond after my initial inquiry and paid great attention to detail when inquiring about my mom’s specific needs. She provided names of facilities within the areas I was looking and also based on my level of interest and my availability, scheduled tours of each of the facilities I expressed interest in. This took so much off of my plate during a stressful time and helped to alleviate the feeling of being overwhelmed with not knowing how or where to begin my search. She also followed up after each tour to ensure I was satisfied with my experience. The representative I worked with was kind, patient and genuinely vested in setting up tours with facilities which were suited to my mom’s specific needs. I highly recommend A Place For Mom when in need of a facility for your loved one.
