We had our old patio door replaced which has 2 large sheets of glass. Starting with the sales person: he did not give clear instructions as to how much space we should provide on the patio because that's where the fitters were going to put it all together. On the first given date the installers arrived unannounced in the morning instead of afternoon because the office got the diary times mixed up(!), the second visit had to be postponed because they were held up at another job.For the 3rd visit only1 installer arrived and had to do the 2-man job on his own! 4/10 for health & safety! James did a brilliant job, was friendly, professional and left everything tidy. The next day we had to phone the office because the door was too stiff and it took 2 hands to move it. This time things moved faster. James returned the following day with an assistant, made the necessary corrections and left us as pleased customers!

Have just had a light weight tiled roof put on conservatory. Work was started on 18th September. Was not impressed with workmans late starts and early finishes. On 20th September he was taken off the job as it was not up to standard. We were told a new workman would come next day to put things right . No one came . We had to contact Apple to find out what was happening. New workman came on 24th and was fantastic. His name is Lee Bristow and he was amazing. His work was very professional and by end of first day had achieved so much. Then had plasterers from J and B company who did a great job. Very pleased with their work and would recommend them. Was told by Apple electrician would come Friday. No one came and no call to say what was happening. Again we had to contact Apple. I now understand the plaster had to dry out for few days so electric work couldn't have been done day after but why were we not told this? Very pleased with roof and workman but disappointed with Apple and lack of communication apart from the call asking for payment!
Quite a stressful few weeks trying to arrange for someone to be home while work was done and then some days no one coming was very frustrating. Product is very good but not so sure about Apple.

I've just had an extention on my home & the 2 guys that installed the plastics did an excellent job but the the people involved with planning, sales etc made a complete mess of things.
Also what i was told by the sales rep was totally different to what actually happened regarding installation. They also made several big mistakes in measuring which meant alterations had to be made during the installation process.
The 2 guys Jamie & Danny who did the plastics had a constant battle to put right the mistakes so this extension could be completed & in the end did an excellent job.
Also there was a big mistake made when building first started because they were sent the wrong plans & the builders had to come out a second time to take some off the dwarf wall & add more brickwork to another where the windows were going.

Overall the guys doing the actual building & installation did a good job but the people involved with drawing up the plans ,surveyors
& the site manager who didn't seem to want to take any responsibility for the mistakes made well I'm afraid I was very unhappy with.

We had a window changed to a door and tilt and turn windows to replace old windows. The plaster in the house is terrible, yet within a day the old windows were out and the new door and windows installed. It was not a great day yet it was all finished and cleaned away by Rob and Luke. A new damp proof lining was put in where the door is now as the bottom of the door is just lower than the existing damp proofing. Very happy and sure we’ll get them back to change our other windows

Orangery installed by Apple home improvements from sales to the final fix electrics went very smoothly I cannot recommend the company enough installers were very professional and attention to detail was second to none. Than you Jamie and Danny for an amazing job. Was very sad when you finished you were like part of the family. Thanks again I would highly recommend....

NEVER AGAIN!
Thinking of using APPLE, think again.
Told me they would replace badly pitted door handles, gave me a date and never bothered. Phoned and they never knew anything about it but will come for a couple of hundred.
Phoned because back door wont close, apparently warranty ran out last week and they refuse to touch it even after I offered to pay.
"Nothing to do with us anymore", phone Checkatrade.
Lesson learned.

A great experience from booking the appointment right up to the last day of installation
We were sorry to see the fitters finish as they had worked incredibly hard and were very polite to have at our property

We would definitely recommend Apple to our friends or familly

We were expecting our conservatory to be built in March, because of problems with southern water it has only just been built. We are really happy with it now it looks lovely. We would have given 5stars but the communication was lacking when we were waiting to know when work could start. Once started, it all went smoothly. We would like to mention Jamie and Danny who were great, as were all the other tradesmen. Thank you.

My experience was same as many others - my wife had to be in attendance . Wife present or leave it (quote) - so we left it !!!

Very happy with our new windows thanks to a great job done by Dale Sharp and James Smith. They were friendly, efficient and quick taking our need to leave on time into consideration too. They tried to demonstrate the new bedroom windows and cleaned up well after the job too. Thanks

Tried to make an appointment for a quote for my property. The guy I spoke to was more interested in my wife. Refused to give me an appointment without her presence. Even though I told him several times property is in my name only. So we decided to go elsewhere!!

Dale and James did a good job of fitting the new windows, despite problems with the levels. Finished on time and cleared up the mess behind them.

We have used Apple before and have always been happy with the actual installation team and this was no different. They were efficient and polite, and cleaned up afterwards.

The communication between the different teams and ourselves however could be improved on to ensure that there are no discrepancies in the information given.

Rob and Luke arrived Wednesday morning with a mammoth task ahead of them to make a dry area at the side of the house for me and my cat!!! After years of debating whether to have a lean to fitted or not I decided yes now was the time. They are both very professional and have great sense of humour, very easy to talk to and nothing is too much trouble as long as you supply them with copious amounts of tea and coffee. Thank you once again guys on doing a incredible job and cleaning up after you, It was much appreciated. Sorry forgot to include my contract reference it is C2186091

Thank you apple for providing a peace of mind service throughout! We had been deciding to extend our home for the past 18 months and was put off by all the factors involved, after deciding to get a quotation with Apple we took full advantage of their offer and ordered an orangery with bi-folding doors!! The whole service has been excellent from the Salesman to the Installation team, the most important thing for me and my wife was to have a fully projected manage service which I can say apple went over and beyond! I would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again!

We have had a number of excellent installations from Apple over the last 4 or 5 years and the latest, carried out by Dale Sharp and his assistant Josh, was no exception. They carried out the installation quickly and professionally with the minimum of disruption and on completion left the site neat and tidy after ensuring that we were fully conversant with the method of operation. A commendable performance.
