Our travel agent booked the trip for a large group of us and then never offered any follow up on the trip even though it was an international trip. When we would contact her with questions it would be over a week without a response. She never offered to book us group dining at the resort. Travel arrangements to and from the airport were a nightmare. Would not recommend.
Apple Vacations is the literal worst
Where to start with Apple Vacations. They are terrible to deal with. The customer services is awful and unhelpful. Apple has forgotten they are the business and need customers to spend money with them. They are really the only site\company that does all inclusive vacation packages so they think they can be rude and dismissive with customers. As soon as there is another company that starts competing with Apple they will lose their monopoly they have in this market I will gladly never deal with this company again
Hope you never need a refund!
After waiting for my refund for 31 days, I called Apple Vacations. I was told they weren't refunding my money until they look it over again. Spirit told me they were refunding my money $641. Here I sit wondering what apple will refund me and when. Never again!
Support is horrendous
Support is horrendous, based in India ( which is ok) ,problem is they have no capabilities to make changes on flights, tried to extend a trip, said he'd call back with new flights, never heard back, said he had to go to his support. Book on your own, make changes freely.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Apple Vacations.
My flight was canceled due to an issue that was NOT caused by me and was NOT requested by me. I never asked for any changes. I booked my vacation exactly how I wanted it, and I even paid extra to secure a direct flight because that was very important to me.
Now I am being told that if I still want to go on my vacation, I would have to pay almost 50% more, and the only option offered includes a connecting flight — which is exactly what I paid extra to avoid in the first place. How is that fair?
On top of that, instead of a full refund back to my credit card, I was given a partial credit with nearly $600 deducted from what I originally paid. I do not believe I should be penalized financially for a mistake that was not mine.
I still want to take my vacation, but I want what I originally paid for — a direct flight at no additional cost. If that cannot be honored, I expect a full refund back to my original form of payment.
I have been a good customer and did nothing wrong. This situation makes me feel like I am being punished for something that was completely out of my control. I am asking Apple Vacations to make this right
Lack Transparency w/ Refunds
Unfortunately, due to the devastation Hurricane Melissa left on Jamaica, I had to cancel my vacation. My all-inclusive stay at the Hyatt Rose Hall was booked through my travel agent using Apple Vacations. Hyatt offered full refunds to guests because the resort will not be able to receive visitors until 2026.
When my travel agent first contacted Apple Vacations about canceling, they stated there would be a $50 per-person deduction. After further inquiries, Apple Vacations finally agreed to refund the full amount. However, the catch was that it would take up to 30 days to process.
Throughout the entire process, Apple Vacations refused to communicate with me directly, insisting that all questions—even simple ones—go through my travel agent. Today marks the 30-day mark, and I still have not received my refund.
This experience has been incredibly frustrating. In a situation caused by a natural disaster, consumers should not have to chase down information or wait indefinitely for money owed to them. I expected far better service, transparency, and responsiveness from Apple Vacations.
Unapologetically stranded us in DR
Apple Vacations unapologetically left us stranded in a foreign country. We have booked through Apple Vacations many times, both family vacations and getaways for the two of us, but never again. We booked an all-inclusive package for a wedding in the Dominican Republic. The last day of our vacation, we used the confirmation code provided by Apple for our flight home & no tickets were found by the airline. When we called Apple (about 6 times), we were informed that our ticket had been canceled and the only thing they could do was sell us the exact same flight for full price a second time! Of course, we were not going to be foolish enough to trust them with it again, but we also had no choice but to repurchase the tickets (directly through the airline this time). I hate to think what would happen to people who didn't have the resources to repurchase tickets that had already been paid for or if you were traveling with a large group.
We booked the Waldorf Astoria Dubai…
We booked the Waldorf Astoria Dubai through Apple Vacations, and while the resort looks nice on the surface, our experience has been incredibly disappointing.
The biggest issue is the outrageous food and drink prices. Meals and beverages are shockingly expensive — far beyond what you would expect, even at a luxury property. It feels like you’re constantly being overcharged just to enjoy basic dining.
When we realized how unreasonable it was, we tried to move to another resort. That’s when we were told our stay was completely non-refundable. The problem? Nowhere in our Apple Vacations travel documents did it say this resort was non-refundable. Had we known, we never would have booked here.
Now we are stuck here through September 1st, unhappy and frustrated. For a Waldorf-branded property and for Apple Vacations, this lack of transparency and fairness is unacceptable.
Yes, the resort itself is beautiful, but the experience has been ruined by poor communication, sky-high food and beverage pricing, and the inability to leave without losing all of our money.
I was told by Apple they are just a broker…they obviously don’t care about customers experiences. Long hold times, can’t speak to anyone in the US. What a joke. The Mullens family has really outdid themselves 👌👎
Apple Vacations Failed to Protect…
Apple Vacations Failed to Protect Customers – Unsafe Experience at RIU Montego Bay I am writing this review regarding Apple Vacations and the handling of a disturbing and unsafe incident at RIU Montego Bay, Jamaica, which was booked through Apple.
During my stay on July 18-22 2025, another guest attempted to break into my room. After failing, he urinated and defecated in front of my door. I reported this immediately to resort staff. Security removed the individual from my doorway but allowed him to return to his room with no consequences. The next day, the resort manager admitted she had “no authority” to compensate me.
I escalated the issue to RIU corporate, who denied responsibility and pushed the matter back to Apple Vacations. Apple’s response was to offer me a $150 travel credit for this traumatic and unsanitary incident. I find this resolution unacceptable and dismissive.
This was not a minor inconvenience — it was a serious breach of guest safety, security, and sanitation. Apple Vacations advertised this property as a safe, all-inclusive experience, and failed to ensure accountability when a major safety issue occurred. Offering $150 credit trivializes the incident and shows a lack of responsibility for customer welfare.
I want other travelers to know: if something goes wrong, Apple Vacations will not stand behind you. Be very cautious booking through them.
The rotten Apple in the bunch
The rotten Apple in the bunch. Booked a honeymoon in Aruba, at RIU resort. The resort was awful, and Apple could care less.
Just returned from Royal Decameron…
Just returned from Royal Decameron Cornwall Beach. When we arrived we discovered the whole resort had not had hot water in the rooms for 2 weeks. No hot water for first 5 days of our stay. Would have been nice if Apple would have notified us prior to our departure to give us the option to reschedule.
Absolutely HORRIBLE service
Absolutely HORRIBLE service. My husband was diagnosed with cancer a week before we were to leave. His treatment needed to start the day we were to leave. We did not want to travel to a third world country with him sick and could possibly get sick there. We had purchased travel insurance but we have been fighting them for months to try and get our money back. They only want to issue us a travel credit that expires in a year. We do not know where this cancer diagnosis is going to lead us in the next year so not even sure we will be able to travel. It appears that they got the money and have no intentions of a refund. Thank you Apple Vacation for being kind caring human beings! So tired of these money hungry business that have no care or concern for anything but getting their money. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! I will be posting wherever I can about their care and concern in this matter!
Absolutely NO customer service
Absolutely NO customer service. First their website wouldn’t t take my payment. Then I’d get an error trying to see my fully paid itinerary. The information about the resort and amenities was outdated and they failed to disclose policies about it being a non-smoking resort EVEN OUTDOORS!!!! Totally ruined our vacation. DO NOT USE APPLE VACATIONS. They used to be good (10 yrs ago) now taken over by scammers
HORRIBLE BUSINESS
If I could give negative stars I ABSOLUTELY would!!! I have booked before from Apple Vacations (AV) and didn't have an issue, which is why I did this time. We had flights changed and then finally cancelled in a matter of a week. Called AV, and it was a headache trying to get refunded for my flights, I was told once I found new flights to reach out and that I would be assisted with the flights and given a discount. I did just that, and was told no discount for flights, and now flight costs are astronomical! I was then given a new itinerary, which showed that I was charged a fee for essentially not paying in full. I was also charged for shared transportation which is supposed to be "complimentary" according to their website.
That's just the first problem! Since these changes have been made, I now cant access my trip online. Can't see my itinerary, cant make payments, NADA! It tells me to contact customer support... I've been trying for a week, chat cant help me - tells me to call, I call it gives you the "new text to chat" option, tried that... useless... told to call.... I call and literally on hold for HOURS waiting for someone to answer, how is that possible?!?!?! I've been calling, texting, chatting for days, and don't get a live person on the phone, and get my issues resolved!! But they have no problem taking your money right away! They also said to reset my password, clear my cache/cookies/history, did all that NADA.... then I was told if was a technical issue on my end, funny because all the different devices I've tried, all say the same the thing.... so who really has the issue!!
Then to boot, I am told from the representative on text that once I pay in full, I can see my documents. Which is it?!?! Technical issue on my end, pay in full.... THEY ARE RIDICULOUS and a HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!!
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS!!!
STAY AWAY!!!
STAY AWAY!!!
Apple Vacation is a total scam. We booked at trip to Cancun between 2/10-2/16. Group of 6. I purchased their travel protection as well. 3 days before the trip, one of our members damaged the knee and couldn't make it with us. I immediately informed apple about this. I was on the phone for 6 hours with them while they were making adjustment. Today is 2/25 and I still haven't received my travel credits. I call every day and spend hours on the phone trying to resolve this matter. Their agent tells me that they are waiting for resort's response on how much and if I will get the credit. Why do I have to wait for resort's decision when I purchased Protection!! No one gives me the answer. What if resort wont give me any refund? What's good of this protection when they cannot refund you when emergency happens? BTW, I sent Apple all the paperwork from the emergency room, confirming that the person couldn't travel. This is a horrible experience. Apple Vacation is a total scam.
Hotel not recommended
I just come back from Riu Negril My room supposed to be ready at 3 o'clock but was not ready till 6 o'clock PM. After I receive room, I find out air conditioning doesn't work. I.
Call few times from desk and finally at 11 o'clock at night. They change my room. The new room thermostat was set up for twenty two degrees and I cannot Change temperature.
I don't know what kind of system they are using. Because air conditioner is located In the hallway and make noise 24 hours a day End night. But don't take care of humidity. Everything in the room was wet. My clothes sheets towels everything.
I’ve taken 6 trips through Apple…
I’ve taken 6 trips through Apple Vacations, and used to recommend them to everyone. I guess that was because we never had any problems. I always book travel insurance, just like this last trip to Puerto Vallarta 1/2/25. Unfortunately all flights were canceled when we were trying to head back to the states on 1/9/25. Left Mexico on 1/11 for Seattle, and then on 1/12 for Nashville. When trying to contact Apple customer care, the email they gave me, to get reimbursement for the trip delay clause in the insurance I purchased, I was told it’s got nothin to do with them, and it’s out of my pocket. I replied with a screen shot of their website selling the insurance, and asked if they could explain, again crickets. The only reason they even responded in the first place, was cause I mentioned a lawyer, and received an email within 30 minutes. It’s complete fraud, I’m disputing all credit card charges they’re responsible for, will never use them again, and it’s time to go Samsung. What I thought was an amazing company, has turned out to be, lying, cheating, despicable people. Already looking for my next trip, by using Expedia or Travelocity! Apple is seriously greedy pieces of trash. I’m honestly shocked the amount of money I’ve spent with them, and can’t get such a small reimbursement.
Apple Vacations did NOTHING to help - worthless
Our flight was cancelled, when I reached out to Apple they told me to rebook it myself. Wouldn't contact our resort to let them know I would be an entire day late and not mark me as no show. I sat on the phone on hold with them for 2-1/2 hours with someone the barely spoke English and did nothing to help. They were the only person working there either cause I tried recalling. He pushed me off to another dept. and they were like "he wasn't supposed to transfer you here we're not going to refund you anything." Finally rebooked my own flight. Paid for another night and day in a hotel waiting for flight (live 2 hours from airport).
Took a chance the resort would know we were still coming (we couldn't contact them ourselves because we booked through Apple). Then found out while we were finally there a few days in the resort would have extended our stay to make up for the lost day but Apple Vacations declined on our behalf...without asking us (I guess cause they didn't want to try to do any work and change flights. When I reached out to Apple to see about them getting our flights changed so we could stay the extra day they said the resort would not allow that to happen (when they had JUST told us face to face they would indeed). But Apple offered us a flight that we could take that was going to give us 1 hour to get through customs with layover which they had already told us previously we should never do. OR our other option to not sleep in the layover airport and the flight that we requested was going to be several hundreds dollars each more. Any actual service would go to the airlines and explaining that it was THEIR fault we missed a day. And of course we were not allowed to talk to airlines ourselves after it was booked through third party.
After we got home (forfeiting about $1200) Apple is still telling ME to go to the airlines and request a refund - and then finally just disappeared entirely. Oh yeah - and my travel insurance I paid extra for? It's only good if I cancelled the entire trip.
WORTHLESS COMPANY! Better off booking directly with the resort. The resort was so willing to try to help but their hands were tied. This was the third time we had used Apple Vacations but we realized we never had a problem because we never had to use them for any help. They honestly offered ZERO service whatsoever for us.
Apple vacations stinks
We trusted apple vacations with our family vacation and we were absolutely lied too. We were sent to the coral oceans resort in Montego Bay and it was an absolute joke. We won’t use Apple vacations anymore- and we should have listened to all our friends who told us not to use you
Worst possible experience. No redeeming qualities.
This is, by far, the worst possible travel company to book a vacation with. They have the worst customer support. If you are spending a lot of money, which you likely are because vacations aren’t cheap, you will want to be assured that you are in good hands with a good customer support team that can help if any issues arise.
I have contacted customer support with Apple vacations more than a handful of times in the past year, and they are absolutely worthless. Aside from not a single person that I’ve talked to having very good English (which isn’t a total deal breaker, but communication is obviously very important) none of them were able to assist with anything other than quote part of the website.
I would not recommend this company to a single person. Their refund policy is borderline worthless. Book your vacation through any other means.
UPDATE: Why would you reply to my post telling me to send you guys an email if you weren't going to reply to my email???
