Bought a cooker from this company for delivery on 20th July which we discovered to be faulty after having it installed. I then spoke with their customer services who were extremely unhelpful and told me that they could send me a new oven but they would not provide and engineer to disconnect the faulty one and install the new one. After much back and forth and being lied to by saying they could not provide an engineer (despite this being an option at checkout on their website?!) they said that if I paid for my own engineer and sent them the invoice they would refund me the money if they deemed the price "reasonable". I refused this and then after speaking with management, they finally agreed to deliver me a new oven and send an engineer to install it within 5 days. Well today is day 6 and I still have a broken oven and the new one is nowhere in sight. After speaking with them again today I have been told there is "delays" and I will be contacted within 48 hours with an update. Terrible customer service, I would never use this company again.

Don’t change anything with your processes.
Nice and simple to order my cooker and I was advised of my delivery date and time window a day prior to my actual scheduled delivery.
Please make a note though that the delivery driver did not call me half an hour before arriving and he was fortunate that I was at home at the time. This is not a fault of Appliances Direct as your delivery confirmation email advised me that the driver would indeed call me half an hour before arrival.

Good service. Once id chosen my delivery date, I had an email to say on that date, they would give me a 4 hour window, and telephone me when they were around 30 minutes away, which they did. On time, pleasant people, would use again

Unlike other suppliers AD were easy to deal with and their delivery schedule was comprehensive and they kept me advised all the way through about the delivery schedule. They were within their allotted delivery time and called me 30 minutes before arriving. This is so important; no one should be expected to wait all day and then find that the delivery is not coming. As for the appliance it seems to be what we ordered, and a competitive price and it came without defects so far - early days.
