The worst logistics experience I’ve…

The worst logistics experience I’ve ever had.

I cancelled my shipment, yet I still have not received my refund. Despite providing all necessary details, they continue to claim they never received the payment — which is simply not accurate.

Customer service is incredibly poor. Calls and messages go unanswered, and when someone does respond, there is no real resolution or support. It feels like they are deliberately avoiding responsibility.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

Their service is beyond terrible

Their service is beyond terrible. Even with the app, confirmed with the pick up time, they still fail to do so. calling their numbers won't even help. The customer service cannot offer solution or compensation. Their managers are hiding under the skirt of their CSRs. BAD. JUST TOO BAD. This is ARAMEX UAE btw. UAE, where business is considered TOP PRIORITY.

Shop & Ship Delivery terrible!!

The Shop & Ship call the delivery drivers 'Delivery Champions', well thats the biggest lie out there. 99% of them don't even bother contacting or delivering the items. Too lazy. They just take it back to the depot. Terrible service

Aramex forwarded my shipment to Germany and handed the local customs handling to a partner (eCom Solution / “Easy Import”), which effectively left me with a choice: either accept the partner’s paid handling (in my case: €35 + applicable import taxes) or risk further delays. I understand that carriers and their partners may be formally entitled to charge brokerage/handling fees for customs processing, even if the shipping itself was already paid. eCom Solution positions itself as a provider for customs clearance/handling of e-commerce shipments into Europe, so the involvement of such a partner is not inherently surprising.

The problem was support and process control: for more than 1.5 months I repeatedly asked Aramex for a clear written confirmation/authorization to allow self-declaration (so the partner could release the shipment without charging their service fee). Even after escalating through additional Aramex channels, I received no actionable response. Meanwhile, storage/retention deadlines approached, and I ultimately had to accept the partner’s conditions to avoid losing the shipment. This felt like a “pay-or-lose-time” outcome created by inaction, not by customs rules.

What Aramex should improve:
- Provide a clear, time-bound escalation path for customs/self-clearance requests.
- Issue standardized written authorizations quickly when customers choose self-declaration.
- Communicate upfront (before arrival) when a shipment will be routed through a paid customs partner and what the opt-out/self-clearance steps are.

Rating (support): 1-2/5. Logistics handoff may be normal; the lack of timely support and the forced time pressure were not.

Don't ever use Aramex courier service for delivery, they don't reply to ones emails or don't answer telephone calls, don't also use eBay services to buy things for delivery to South Africa, I don't see really any positive response for Aramex courier service South Africa, will not recommend , my package arrived in South Africa Jan Smuts airport Johannesburg South Africa already end of January 26,then arrived at Aramex Johannesburg 12 February, until today 18 February 26 no further action or correspondence to my queries , they bought over Fastway couriers they are useless scammers company same difference

Aramex Kenya will SCAM YOU! DO NOT USE!
They calculated exaggerated customs duties on an excel sheet and sent it to me to make payment on their personal account. They lied that they had input the item into KRA system, but they hadn't. The duty ended up being equal to the value of the goods as purchased! They then proceeded to charge me an extra USD 55 for their own charges. Ridiculous. NEVER use this company. You will be conned!

Terrible

Terrible. It's no wonder companies like Amazon swoop in to take everything over when companies take their customers for granted in this manner. As a marketer myself I have rarely seen a company that has exposed their flank in so blatant a manner. No chance you'll ever actually speak to human being but, to make matters even worse, their AI WhatsApp, a bot, doesn't respond!! I would love someone to call me about a parcel of mine that's been sitting in OR Tambo in South Africa for 4 days now undelivered 35681383706. Not holding my breath though tbh!!

2) Booked Saturday 9:30-10:00 slot
3) No one showed up
4) called customer service they requested to wait until 5pm
5) No one came !!!!

7) No one yesterday also
8) Called today 8:30 they confirmed the pickup today max. By 5:00 pm

Ignore the one star - it’s worse

Ignore the one star, that should be MINUS one star.
Why oh why do Amazon US use this bunch of clowns.
Package shows out for delivery in Manila, hey guys you’re on the wrong island!
The package should have departed on another flight
Going to be stopping any future Amazon US purchases until they start using mainline couriers like UPS or DHL.

The worlds 3rd class courier service
They charged me express money to deliver the parcel in 5-6 days and already 7 days passed and still shipment in transit
From last 3 days shipment is stuck in UAE and they are just updating no airline connection
They just cheat people to survive their company

If a person sends some emergency items with them so i think it will reach after the person is no more

They are all scammer. They changed the status for picking up the parcel but they dont call and send message anything and they never come to pickup the parcel and later they change the status into pickup attempted but failed and set schedule for another day. Its been like 3 days they are playing hide and seek with me.They are pure scammer. I suggest you all do not use their cheap service.its for UAE Aramex
