We have been working with AR for nearly a decade and they have always been thorough and effective in their work on valuations for us. Most recently Paddy Waldron has been working on our account and we are delighted with the business rates savings he has been able to find for us.

The rent review appeal was so slow but this was because the ICB and DV were slow. Paula at AR was always helpful and pro active chasing up and kept me in the picture.

The property valuation process was smooth and efficient. Booking was easy, communication was excellent, and the team was very friendly and professional throughout. I would definitely recommend their services!

Dave Simpson was brilliant in negotiating an increase in rent for both rent reviews, and his knowledge and expertise gave me much assurance throughout the process. Selecting Aitchison Raffety proved to be a good call, valuation availability was within a few days, Hashim managed to turn the report around within the week despite a busy period and the final report was a good assessment of my commercial property. Have another 2 large valuations coming up and already know I'll be using Aitchison Raffety again.

We have used Aitchison Raffety for the past 10 years to undertake property valuations of our GP surgery and to challenge our 3-yearly notional rent reviews. They are knowledgeable but friendly and have helped us take a more consistent approach to decisions around property.

We were looking to move offices within Berkhamsted, which isn’t the easiest task! I first contacted Connor to view a property that didn’t end up being the right fit. A few months later, he got in touch about a new office space that had just become available and thought of us straight away. We’re so glad he did, we absolutely love the new space.

I first dealt with Aitcheson Raffety in 2017, when they advised me in dealing with a flooded cellar in our family-owned property on Harpenden High Street. Without their advice and recommendations I would not have been able to resolve the issue swiftly and satisfactorily.
For the past 8 years, Mark Bunting has been helping me with the management and development of the property. He has conducted rent reviews and lease renewals on my behalf, supported me in dealing with other tenancy issues and is always available for ad hoc conversations and advice. More recently, he has helped me with a project to develop the upper floors into residential apartments, providing valuations, planning advice and sourcing of suitable developers.
Mark is exceedingly knowledgeable about the local market. He always listens, gives pragmatic advice with empathy and is always professional. He has negotiated strongly on our behalf and has achieved the absolute maximum rents etc. particularly when dealing with large, national organisations.
I can honestly say that, without Mark’s support, knowledge and advice, we would not be able to directly manage the property. I can highly recommend Mark and would be happy to provide more information or a verbal testimonial if required.

Connor and Joe have been proactive in marketing, arranging viewings and identifying potential tenants for commercial units and have acted swiftly in response to any queries and questions.
