Not to be trusted

Not to be trusted, how can they get away with putting stuff that has not been tested fully into our food and drink?!!
I will never again buy this brand and I certainly will make sure any kids don’t have any.

Serious Concerns About Use of Bovaermer of your…

I have been a loyal customer of your company for years, but I recently discovered that you are using Bovaer in your cattle feed, which ends up in your dairy and meat products. This has left me deeply concerned for many reasons.

The active ingredient in Bovaer, 3-Nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP), has been linked to significant health risks. Studies show it can cause mesenchymal cell hyperplasia and benign tumors in female animals when used in higher doses. This raises serious questions about the safety of consuming products from animals exposed to this compound. Additionally, there is evidence suggesting 3-NOP may damage male fertility and reproductive organs, which is alarming for both animal welfare and human health if these effects carry through the food chain.

What concerns me even more is the lack of long-term safety studies on the impact of 3-NOP on human health, remembering smoking, asbestos, radium, leadbased products, pcbs, DDT, Thalidomide, CFCs, Teflon and the list goes on that had was once considered safe with studies. Without clear, definitive proof of its safety over extended periods, using this additive in your products feels reckless and risky. There’s also the possibility that 3-NOP or its byproducts could accumulate in the food chain, potentially leading to hormonal imbalances or other health issues over time.

Beyond the health risks, there are serious environmental impacts to consider. 3-NOP and its metabolites can be excreted by cows and enter the environment through manure, contaminating soil and waterways. This exposure could disrupt beneficial microbial communities that are essential for soil health and nutrient cycling, potentially harming ecosystems and agricultural productivity in the long run.

As a consumer, I feel it’s my right to know what’s in the products I purchase, and I’ve seen little to no transparency about your use of Bovaer. This lack of disclosure is disappointing and makes it hard to trust your brand.

Until there is undeniable evidence that 3-NOP is entirely safe for both animals and humans, as well as the environment, I urge you to reconsider its use. For now, I’ll be avoiding your products and encouraging others to do the same until these serious concerns are properly addressed.

Doubling down did not help Disney, Bud light or Jaguar. I suggest you learn from recent history when the people who buy your products say no!

Disgusting 😡

Absolutely disgusting that this toxic chemical Bovaer is going to be added or is sneakily already added into the milk and dairy that wehave been using
No more Cravendale or Lurpak for us or any dairy products you produce for most of the supermarkets
Cravendale is now in the bin and we are getting dairy products that are Organic or from a local farm that cares for the health of their cows
Shame on you ..an absolute disgrace

Bovaer - disgusted to say the least…….

Disgusted to say the least that Arla are trialling Bovaer, the methane reducing food additive given to cattle. I would like to know how long this has been going on without the public being made aware of it. I won’t be buying Arla products or any supermarket branded products where Arla are the suppliers. On the plus side it has made me source more independent and smaller dairy producers who I will support going forward.

Private farmers will get my money

Recently came across the reports that Arla will be offering Bovaer feed to cows which is a known irritant to humans. With no assurances that this feed will not be transferred into the cows milk I have decided to boycott all Arla products on the grounds of physical health dangers. Simply can not risk my kids life with this. Farmers that sell milk will get my support.

I didn’t give my permission

I have never given them permission to use me as a guinea pig. There is nothing on the labels to say which has been added to the food chain. Strange how this has been kept secret. So like many I will not buy anything from any company that uses this in their food chain.

Don't even want to give them one star

Don't even want to give them one star. I can't believe what this company makes their farmers feed cattle with to stop them farting. Not tested as safe, stay away from Arla products they could be poisoning you.
Yet another Bill Gates scam.

Toxic Chemical in dairy

What went wrong? I just found out that toxic chemicals are the ingredients in the UK & worldwide Bovear trial of dairy cattle feed. So since about 2023 my family & the public have unknowingly been participants in this experimental trial without our consent.
These dairy products are being sold in most supermarkets, the chemical feed ingredients are not highlighted on packaging. The untested chemical cocktail may affect organic & even end up in manure pasture soil soon. Please Research; in efsa europa (link not permitted here) quote " for which genotoxicity has not been fully clarified.. a margin of safety could not be established," seems like a repeat of the fake & defective. Apparently it's ok to spray over 6 billion pounds of pesticides etc a year but now, after thousands of years, cow burps can change the climate - pure bullshit! Apart for what is being done to the unfortunate animals who sustain us, -there will be consequences for dairy farmers when people stop buying affected dairy - or is this the intention? If anyone in my now healthy family becomes ill or affected by this poison then Arla bovaer, participating farmers & supermarkets will eventually pay either in this life or the next.
What can you do to improve Arla? Return to what nature intended for you & your own children so you will then reap the rewards.

Bovaer

I will not be buying any products from this company anymore. Adding any kind of chemicals to the food chain is dangerous. With no long term studies on Bovaer it's a risk I'm not willing to take for me and my family. I Will be buying locally from now on. Absolutely disgusting.
