Sadly things were bad from the moment we arrived at our new home to unpack the first lorry. The funds were delayed which I know happens quite a lot and we didn’t get the keys until 4.30pm. This was one of the Lorrie’s with a second Lorry coming after the weekend I had a phone call from
The office saying the guys were leaving at 6.00pm with whatever was left on the lorry. We are 76 and 71 years old and if it hadn’t been my for daughter and her partner joining in up and down on and off the lorry we would not have got the items unloaded. I cannot fault the guys but the stress this put on my husband and I was horrendous and in all
The years that I had experienced of moving I have never had this happen before. Because the guys stayed an extra hour (from 5.00pm to 6.00pm) we were charged an extra £180. Read the small print on the contract peeps as no one explained that to us when we booked them. I would definitely not use this company again and if you use them be AWARE you will be left in the lurch if you do t have anyone to help get your items off. I was told by the second lorry team that we should never have been allowed on the lorry because of health and safety. 😳. A very very disappointing experience though I cannot fault the guys that looked after us. The second lorry came after the bank holiday weekend and we had no problem. But please BEWARE READ THE SMALL PRINT

I have used the Wincanton branch of Armishaws a number of times for moving and storage. Each time I have found all of the Armishaws team really helpful and proactive with any questions and requests I have.

I would like to say a special thank you to Harrison and John for helping my two day move go smoothly and calmly, and for helping take the strain away from me.

Paul and Martin conducted our removals as part of a military move. They were punctual, courteous and polite. Would recommend!

Arranged my removal at fairly short notice with Armishaws. Ruth at head office was extremely helpful in sorting out the collection and delivery arrangements. Our uplift was on 1/5/25. The crew, Artur and 3 colleagues, turned up right on schedule just after 8am. They worked tirelessly and methodically to empty the contents of the house without any damage or accidents. They were all very professional and polite.
The contents were delivered the following day to the new address. The driver was again Artur, this time with one colleague Sam. It felt as though there should have been a third person given the quantity of goods, but undaunted the two chaps worked solidly on what was a very hot day to safely deliver our contents. Admiration and respect to both Artur and Sam who were a credit to Armishaws. No hesitation in recommending Armishaws and would certainly use again if I was crazy enough to move house again. Harry and Ben did a fantastic job directing the team for a long move from Salisbury to Pembrokeshire. They packed everything on time, were professional, and made the move smooth.

Darin and Doug were both great - really friendly and took real care with our belongings.

Excellent and professional service from first visit and quote, right though to the move. They were also very understanding when the first move date was pushed back 6 months due to chain collapsing. Look no further, these are the team for you.

Darin, Alan, Artur, Rohan & Sean were all brilliant! Darin & Alan met unexpected circumstances on the packing day with much appreciated good cheer and the next day all worked with a will delivering on the hottest day of the year so far, even though the van could not be right outside the door. Darin managed to reassemble my very ancient and battered wardrobe probably into better shape than previously. I’m also grateful that all the cardboard boxes were collected very promptly!

Had a really good job done by Darin and Sam who were super friendly and helpful. They listened to our request well and were able to provide the service diligently. Would definitely use this service in future as well.

Sam and Ben were absolute stars and made our move in , which was complicated by a lot of stuff going into store, as smooth as it could be

Darin and Sam were fantastic, friendly and kind. Efficiently moved our homes across the country, they were careful with our possessions and skilled with the difficulties that appears when moving oversize items out of small entrances. Friendly to talk to when on their allowed breaks and caring when it comes to the out of the ordinary situations, this was evident when I had a very tearful little girl that was overwhelmed. Darin as an experienced father knew how to make her smile and get excited about the move. Both went above and beyond to complete the move safely and respectfully. Highly recommend!

Sam, Rory and Wesiley were so helpful during our move. We had some trouble with getting the wardrobe up the stairs at the new house but they didn’t give up and tried multiple times, finally with success. Very friendly guys, will use them again and would recommend to friends/family

A very easy company to work with, efficient, helpful and friendly. John, Sam, Rory and Nick - who helped yesterday - were happy to help, and didn't stop (except when we provided them coffee!) Job was done quickly, with nothing damaged or missing. 5* Would recommend and use again!

Excellent service from Armishaws from start to finish. Rob, Sam and Toby were extremely helpful on the day of the move and did an amazing job of lugging all our belongings around! Would definitely recommend them for removals.

Extremely efficient and very polite packers and removers.
Huge congratulations to the driver who had to reverse the lorry with the trailer containing our furniture down our road. It is quite narrow and has several bends in it. We were totally in awe of his driving skills.

Couldn’t recommend Armishaws enough. Paul and his lads Luke and Raydon were brilliant, a real credit to the company. Everything was packed well and in good time, and all three of them were always in good spirits despite the cold weather.

Arrived promptly at 8.10 a.m Alan and Douglas. They were efficient, respectful and speedy. Luke joined them for a couple of hours, a speedy careful packer of treasured China. Arriving at the new house, furniture was quickly placed in the correct rooms and beds were re built. Roly Wes and Nick arrived to help and everyone pulled their weight and emptied the van. The only hiccup was the lack of a power drill to fix the bed and a set of Allen keys. This was not the fault of the removal crew as I had checked previously with head office and was assured that tools would be on the van. I was fortunately able to borrow some from a neighbour. The move went well and thank you to the admin staff, to Paul and the removal crew.

Thank you to the Armishaws team for assisting our move, in particular Alan and Dougie who were extremely helpful, professional and considerate. They kindly sorted out a problem with a wardrobe that needed delivering separately the following day, and were both very patient and understanding with a delay on our purchase which meant they had to work a lot later than planned. They made a stressful day considerably easier!

This was a particularly stressful move for me as my husband was deployed and I was moving from Suffolk to Wiltshire with a small child and a poorly dog. Darin and Doug were amazing - nothing was too much trouble for them and worked till late in the evening to get everything done. I am so grateful for their hard work and professionalism. Pat the GM was also incredibly helpful, communicating with me every step of the way, which really put my mind at ease. Highly recommended! Thank you Armishaws Team! Bridget, Fynn & Humphrey
