The 3 young men, Harvey, Ben and Sam who handled my removal on 10th March 2025 were very considerate, efficient and professional.

The company seemed to go out of their way to be helpful, prior to the move.
The moving crew were quick, helpful and cheerful and moved us with the minimum of fuss.

This was a rather complex move to SW France with goods collected from two locations. The transport teams delivered to & from UK Self-Storage on several occasions and performed an additional collection from the house. They were always professional, punctual, polite, friendly and careful with our goods. Due to a late change, we were unable to receive the goods in person in France. It is worth noting that Mikey, who was responsible for the delivery, communicated with us to confirm that everything was where we wanted and, sure enough on our arrival, our boxes were neatly stacked and loose items were easily accessible. Everything was left clean and tidy - we couldn't ask for more.
I must reserve a final word for Pat, who facilitated this over recent months. I appreciate our numerous discussions and all that you've done to help us - many thanks.

Wow what a service! We had the lovely Ben and Harry move us to our forever home in Devon from Wiltshire, couldn’t have asked for better movers! They were so attentive and made it light work for us. Absolute credit to the company!

Excellent service - Luke, Sam, Harrison and Rob - arrived promptly, were fast and thorough to pack all the house contents. All worked extremely hard to ensure all the boxes and furniture were moved into the right rooms at the new house, beds assembled and furniture placed. Thank you!

Great job was done packing and moving my goods into storage . All made a little more complicated as there are 2 locations for coming out of storage . Ben was great for 2 days and was very careful to make sure that the two destinations did not get mixed up . Would be very happy if Ben was in charge of the delivery part of my job . He was very ably assisted by Rafael, Harry ( who struggled through despite feeling very unwell ) and Toby .
Moving can be very stressful ( I’ve done it many times ) and it makes such a difference to have a great crew. Thanks guys !

From start to finish Armishaws provided a great service from booking, to leaving us at the new house.
Alan, Rory and Shaun were a great team; they worked tirelessly throughout the day. Boxes were carefully packed with lots of padding to keep things safe, taking great care over fragile items and clearly marking the contents. They even positioned the flowerpots around the new garden which made it feel homely already! They used protection on the stairs and carpet which was reassuring too. Their friendliness, and sense of humour helped enormously for an anxious customer; we couldn’t fault them at all. Thank you

The Armishaws removals team were brilliant and provided a smooth and efficient service. Ben and Harry were great and had everything packed up ready to go in 6 hours. They were very polite and were also amazing with my dog, who is usually very shy with new people in the house.

We’ve just had a seamless move from lincs to the south east, thanks to Ben & Harry. They contacted me early about their schedule and had the house packed up and ready to move in under 6 hours. Their punctuality was impeccable and they were happy to help move the furniture around once it was inside the house. Highly recommended.

The guys doing the work we're good. The management held us to ransom unloading half a lorry at their site and then charging us for another day as sale completion was delayed by one hour. It's obvious it was a planned upsale as the extra hour wouldn't allow them to unload half a lorry.

Edit: As you can see in their response they are now going to raise how much they charge again. Have already spoken to the BAR. The delay was not over 1 hour, we had told them upfront completion wasn't before 2pm and the guys at the site had garden access to unload plants.

A mixed experience; We had a lorry to take a load to storage one day and another to take a load to our onward address the next. Not enough boxes were delivered on day one so we struggled with package for for store and on day two only two chaps turned up which was completely inadequate (we had been told there would be more). Fortunately whilst we were pleased with Pawel, Rory and Rowan on day one, Harry and Ben on day two were extraordinary - they worked non-stop on the packing until after 7pm with commitment and good humour, followed by full day's drive and unpacking the following day. Disappointing organisation but full marks to the exceptional team

I booked Armishaws to undertake the packing of goods and to remove me to my new address.
Subsequently the agreed completion date was not met and I therefore I had to telephoned cancel and rebook.
It was not, made clear at the time of booking I would have to forfeit the full price of removals if I had to cancel within 36 hours, I believe this should be clearly stated in the quotation not hidden away in the terms and conditions.
I have since moved with another company, plus received other quotes from a few more companies and after this terrible experience from Armishaws I did check if they had this horrible clause in, they Terms & Conditions which none of them have.
So been warned a small clause in the Terms and Conditions can cost a lot of money like me.
My experience Armishaws has not been at all good and will not be recommending them to anyone.

Great support and help from the Armishaws team throughout, from first visit to moving day. They certainly helped to make a stressful day alot less stressful! Particularly impressed by their polite management of members of public/neighbours when the vehicle blocked the road during loading/unloading.

Armishaws made moving day a success. Alan, Nick and Sam were great and couldn't have been more helpful going above and beyond what could have been expected. They were always cheerful and helpful, making moving day easy. Their estimator was very reassuring and we think it was great value too. Highly recommended. With Armishaws, you are in very experienced hands and nothing is too much trouble.

The two guys Darin and Doug who moved my stuff were excellent at both ends, very friendly and got my stuff in and out in very good time and left no mess which was appreciated.

Having to move a large amount of Household items, the Armishaws removal team were excellent. The very helpful, efficient and friendly three man team of Alan, Sam and Rory made the stressful move so much easier. Thank you very much.
