Poor customer services and security
Staff at the Bletchley store falsely accused me of stealing and wouldn't let me leave the store. Just because I didn't have my receipt on me. The store needs to rethink their security policy, if customers can use the till and then pay for a singular product like I did (a £3.97 bottle of weedkiller) then walk out and get accused of stealing at the doors, they need to completely rethink how security is handled.
No one from Asda apologised for what is essentially harassment, it's my first time going back to the store for a couple of years and I'll make a point to avoid all Asda stores again in the future.

I would actually give this no stars if I could.
I’ve emailed Asda about an online food shop but haven’t heard anything as yet from them. Not sure if I will!
My dad ordered an online shop to be delivered at 9-10pm the driver rocks up at 8-25pm my dad arrived home at 8-30pm half an hour before the shop was due. The driver was still there but had rang through and cancelled the order. The shopping was still in the van but my dad couldn’t have it because it had now been cancelled. Why did the driver not ring ahead to see if he was in and surly he should have waited till at least 9pm to ring and cancel the order. Shocking behaviour!
Better signage needed for meal deals
Ran in to grab a meal deal, shelves seemed clearly labelled with what was a main and what was a snack. Except when I got to the till, it wasn't the meal deal price. Turns out the fruit pot I picked was actually a main? Who's eating grapes and melon pieces as a main? Anyway, I went back to check, and the shelf and item label was clearly labelled as a snack. Having only a short time to grab food, I swapped the fruit for a yogurt, went to pay at the kiosk where the lady there shrugged her shoulders and said, 'yeah, that's a main, the shelf is wrong'. How many other people have made this mistake that could so easily be avoided by correct labelling/placement? Disappointing experience.

Absolute shambles, .Do not buy a delivery pass
Absolute shambles .. call centre staff dont listen , lie and constantly interrupt, used gift vouchers to pay for the groceries and then their system wouldnt place the order and i cant have the vouchers refunded. Its ridiculous.. requested refund for my delivery pass and was told there isnt a number or email to make a complaint , ill use Sainsburys from now on .. nobody has time to waste sorting out this kind of complication ..
Website access
Access blocked to their retail website despite messages to say everything is working fine (business website fine). No issues with accessing any other website so not my own setup/browser. I can now understand why this company has so many negative reviews.
The sandwich came with a free insult.
Asda, Layerthorpe, York
Served by a most unfriendly and sarcastic member of staff. It was 07.30 in the morning and I politely enquired if she was serving on the check-out or was I to use the self service option and she told me I ‘looked like the type of person who couldn’t scan a sandwich’ so she’d serve me on the checkout. Judging by her deadpan expression she wasn’t joking. Very rude and judgmental. I might be getting on a bit but can still feel embarrassment.
If I could put 5 stars for the most…
If I could put 5 stars for the most unethical of companies Asda Petrol Stations ,would have got it, yesterday I popped to Gosport Asda station at store, bought £25.00 of fuel, used my card at pump as there is no kiosk, I noticed last night that £99.00 was taken by them, I was furious, as this is , I consider theft , 24 hours later I still have not been reimbursed, I went to store I was told this is how all petrol stations do it, now at 65 years of age, well travelled in uk, using many different stations I have never been charged £99.00 , that is an imperical fact! I rang every number I could find , none was helpful, infact not 1 of the options were applicable to this situation, during my searches I found a BBC news that in 2018 Asda had been held accountable for this and had said they were not longer going to use this practice. My issue is not just about me, but my concern in this economic climate, what if a single Mum with young children only had £100.00 left in their account and they went to petrol station , the impact on them would be horrendous, or elderly on minimum income, this would be not only stressful but deprive them of supporting themselves, also if equally they only had £95.00 in bank this could push them into unauthorised overdraft which would result in bank charges. I eventually got through to a customer service , they did not want my receipt details they just said they would escalate complaint, but without details this is pointless, I would have to wait 5 days for refund, ridiculous they certainly did not wait to debit my account, I have called local paper and BBC about this, I will also contact financial Ombudsman and Trading Standards. 600,000 daily use Asda Petrol stations can you imagine the money held in their holding accounts, and the devastation they are doing to their customers! Disgraceful !
Excellent customer service

Witnessed staff member rudeness to a customer who was not charged correctly at the till for items on 3 for £12 at the Halbeath store in Fife, Scotland. Could not have been less helpful…despite HAPPY TO HELP ironically on the back of their shirt!
Customer had a so called manager come over who asked the staff member her story and she LIED saying she offered to go and check the cost! Really this is disgusting behaviour….no scruples whatsoever. Manager was pointless saying he could only go with the facts…..ie he sided with his staff member and ignored the customer and anything witnesses said! Shocking behaviour.
Halbeath store- rude unhelpful staff
Halbeath store- rude unhelpful staff. Asked for assistance at self checkout as goods in 3 for £12 had not scanned properly. First staff member told me too busy! Second staff member told us the one item had no sticker so was not part of 3 for £12. Showed her the other items scanned on the offer successfully with NO sticker either, and advised her we can take her to the shelf where many have no sticker on just some! She just shrugged put the tem dowbn and started to walk off!? Asked for manager- he was patronising and unhelpful too asking what we wanted him to do about it!? He said his staff member told him she offered to check for us which she DID NOT. Lady near us said she heard the whole thing and staff member was rude and she had lied about saying she offered to go and double check...He sided with his staff member saying he has to go with the facts! So what his staff member says is fact but what we say PLUS a witness is a lie? Manager had no intention of helping whatsoever.
Seriously ASDA you are dreadful. Zero help and customer service skills even though you all walk around wuth Hapy to Help on your back.....that is rubbish!

Same day delivery is not a good idea.
Asda are usually really good but if you get a same day delivery this is when it all falls down. Only half of our shopping arrived on Thursday and the uber person who delivered did not appear to speak English so when my husband asked if this was everything, as it didn't look the usual amount... the chap just agreed and barked 'everything' then walked quickly away to his car and left without even checking. I went on to Asda website and asked for refunds for all the missing items and they were all denied. I then had to call them to ask why and if they could process the refunds for me, which they kindly did. The people on the phone were lovely and helpful. It was an awful lot of trouble to go to though and I ended up ordering the missing stuff from Tesco which came the next day with a lovely driver who was very pleasant and helpful. The moral is don't get a same day delivery from Asda as It might end in a mess and give you more stress than you need.

We brought a large jar of slice beetroot oh my God the jar lid is so tight even a strong man couldn't open so it has been thrown away what a waste try opening it and you will see it just can't be done this was brought from asda Ipswich Suffolk Go to another shop very disappointed
uber puts disabled life at risk .!
uber driver ( uber on behalf of asda )arrived and refused to deliver without identification despite there being no restricted items in the order. recipient is a vulnerable adult who is unable to care for themselves and so has carers receive orders. The caller is the carer and thus responsible for the orders. Without the delivery, the recipient's life is at risk
Bye bye Asda Asda reward app is an illusion
Bye bye Asda Asda reward app is rubbish. It should be called Asda illusion of a reward app. Having just complained to Asda customer service online that I was unable to use Asda app (yet again) to use a £5 voucher off a £35 spend I finally cracked and left my shopping at the till and went to Tesco.
Part of my complaint explained that I had earned rewards which because I had not used them in the time frame dictated by Asda were snatched back. So Asda rewards are an illusion. Asda has kindly replaced my £5 voucher with a gesture of good will a £3 voucher on my rewards app which they can now snatch back as I have deleted their app.
