There is no way to unsubscribe or cancel a paid subscription. Beware! I had to contact my credit card and dispute the charges. An hour after I subscribed I figured out this was not for me and it really is not going to do what I wanted it to do. This is my second terrible experience with ASUS. The first was that ASUS denied warranty repair on a monitor. They systematically claim all failures on owner damage which "voids" the warranty. The tinyest of cosmetic scratches on the back of a device voided my warranty. I call bul.l.$.hit on Asus. Asucks.

The only positive thing I can say about this product is it gave me a nice sense of nostagia for the late 90's when using this painfully slow server. Apart from that, avoid like the plague.

Bought Asus storage May 2020, was able to use it for a while (2 months?), but uploads took forever to do. Now i cant even access it anymore. Good thing i still had backups of the files in storage service. what a waste of money

Like many others, I should have checked the reviews here before purchase. The offering is not functional in any sort of practical sense.
When I asked for support, none was provided, when I asked for a refund they sent a form to complete, but never provided the refund. I had to raise a dispute with Paypal and am still trying to recover the money I spent.
Lessons learned, always go to trust pilot before purchase.

Update: I eventually recovered the money through the Paypal dispute resolution process. I am shocked that Asus lend their name to this service.

They showed a promotion of 2 years of service paid beforehand. I bought such promotion and little days ago the service stopped working. It took them two months to bring the login to work again, but now the backed up folders don't syncronize and for 2 weeks the issue is not fixed.

BEWARE I BOUGHT 2 YEARS OF STORAGE AND THE ASUS WEBSTORAGE APP THAT SYNCS MY DATA HAS NEVER WORKED PROPERLY FROM SAYING MY USER/PASSWORD IS WRONG YET IT WORKED VIA WEB LOGIN ………. CURRENTLY KEEPS SAYING IT CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER UNTIL I RESTART THE APP THEN 1 HOUR LATER BACK TO CANNOT CONNECT……. IF YOU MANUALLY UPLOADING FILES, IT WORKS FINE..........DON’T EXPECT SUPPORT SOONER THAN 5 DAYS TO RESPOND TO A PROBLEM WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE.... I WENT WITH GOOGLE DRIVE

I should have checked reviews here first. Fortunately my purchase of 1TB of storage was small because was on sale. Waiting to see if they refund me.
The Asus app never seems to sync, tried multiple computers and even the Android app. Absolutely the worst. Not even sure how their storage solution is in operation.

The server seems to ALWAYS be down. Regret this purchase bitterly. I get useless replies from their technical service. They obviously don't read the emails but send out meaningless form letters.

Mostly bad news but some good. I was lucky enough to get an email reply when their service stopped working recently. You need to download their latest beta client WebStorage 2.6.5.695(NET4) (unfortunately not allowed to post links here). It works now (sort of), but it is sooooooo slow and chews up a lot of CPU cycles and memory that it is hardly worth it. If you dump a bunch of new files in the Sync folder, it will often not recognize the changes for days, or else sync a few, then rest for hours or days then maybe start up again. I signed up for a 2 year special and am just using it as a cloud backup for now, but I will definitely not renew. Don't waste your time.

Biggest load of junk you will find, been unable to login to the Windows 10 app for months.
Zero support for the product, I mean they just can't be bothered to reply.
Best of all, they keep asking if I want to buy more space...... Right but more space for a product that is useless hahahaha

It worked for a bit but since 4-March-21 the windows app is broken.
It is now comming up to 40 days offline with the only response (on their blog) being 'sorry for the inconvenience'.
The availability of the windows app to auto-sync was critical to my decision to buy – it is not available – yet is still advertised.
I want to request a refund for my purchase as the product does not do what it is supposed to do and is advertised to do
well thats too bad, as others have mentioned there is no customer support of any kind.

Tried to download my files (30GB+) from the webstorage, as I switched to another cloud service, so thought why pay and use multiple platforms.
Downloading is only possible in like 500M steps, selecting files bascally one by one.
Still with most of the downloads you get a "Server error" and it cancels.
Struggling for 2 weeks now.
No support, only a robot reply, that they certainly reply in zillion days.
Well I do not trust.
Luckily I have other backups, but I would be in big trouble (aka deep skirt), if I have trusted them for storing my files on a retrievable way.

Stop emailing me for the love of god. I haven't used my Asus in over 5 years and I have blocked the emails, reported as spam yet still continue to receive the emails. Its really really annoying

My wife paid for 1TB storage for one year. Neither of us have even been able to log in to use the storage, and the customer assistance is completely useless. So even if we did manage to log in, I'm not sure I would trust them with storing my information properly. Even giving them 1 star rating is too high.

The WebStorage service has been down since 4th March 2021 which is now a total of 18 days now.
The only answer you get from ASUS customer service is a "Sorry for the inconvenience we caused."
On their BLOG at "blog asuswebstorage com" they just reply to everyone that the application is in maintenance mode but do not offer any other information, it's as if it's just a bot replying.

They just do not care about customer service at all.
18 days so far with no backup service and they are ignoring customers requests for refunds.

It's as if they have been hacked again or their software team don't know how to fix it or it just cold be a sign that they are going out of business and trying to scam as much money as they can as they are still allowing downloads of their backup application even though it does not work. There is no message on their main site that there are problems so it's seems they just want people to keep signing up without provide the service.

Would give no stars, friggn useless crap product.

first they fixed me on with free cloud space.
Then they offered me 1TB 1 Year € 15.
Now I should pay double for the same.
I didnt want to.
Unfortunately I had a recent hdd crash.
When trying to download my 380 mGB, I encountered conditions like in 1995.
The server is not just the slowest available. It`s also crashing every 10 minutes. It`s f***ing me up completely.
After five days I managed to get abot 90 GB of my stuff back onto my disc. And, besides, I realized that there were many empty folders that were tagged green in the WebStorage-folder on my PC.

I was always satisfied with ASUS hardware components. But I will never buy any ASUS product again. For sure not.
How can those MFs be that superstitious?

ASUS WebStorage is a bunch of rotten servers administrated by spaced out i*iots. To offer a service bad like that in 2020 / 2021 is a shame to the company. The money is completely wasted.

very slow speed services that is unusable, very poor software (Asus remote driver). Please give me back my money!!!!! I suggest to other peoples to not activate thuis services because is unusable for the very slow speed. I have a very fast 1Gbit FTTH in my home and I cant' write my file on ASUS Webstorage!!!
