Useless cloud system with no customer support

I cannot agree more with the negative reports I have read! Yesterday I have purchased 2 years of service at 1 Terabyte and uploads stops after 7,5 Giga!!! Why? I have asked this idiot BOT and obviously no answer. I have sent E-mails and no answer.
Tomorrow I will place a complaint to PayPal to get my money back. Never seen such a useless system in my life, backed up by a non-existing customer service. Bah... Very bad for ASUS!

A really bad cloud storage

I needed a high-capacity cloud storage one year ago and saw a promotion AD for ASUS Web Storage. So I tried it out and bought a two-year subscription. However, I found that I was deceived, Web Storage not only function and interface are very bad, which it can't sync files in real-time, and worse is there is no customer service at all. If you send them a question, you never get any response. I really don't understand why ASUS is such a well-known brand, but it made their Web Storage so bad. Let alone charging, I will not use it even if it is free.

Low price but basically useless

Low price but basically useless. The upload is very slow, it takes days, but what kills me is that I cannot download multiple folders, just one per time, crazy. Take it if you just need to store something for ever but not using it

The Asus Web Storage is way to slow!

The Asus Web Storage seemd to be cheap, but now I know why: The server has a very low bandwidth of short time 5..6MBit, which decreases after some time to a value which is below 1MBit/s. So you can imagine how longbit takes to upload the backup files up to 1TB. Not acceptable at all. Don't subscribe!!

Worst waste of money ever

Uploads constantly fail, trying to download the files to migrate to another service seems impossible as well everything keeps failing. Tried on android, windows, mac and nothing.

Now all my files disappeared and I've sent several emails to customer support and no one replies.

Stay the hell away from this! They take your money, you lose your files.

What a waste of money

What a waste of money, this service is completely unusable, extremely slow, the support does not exist. I
have sent countless emails with no response, it is absolutely ridiculous!

Cheap storage for phone, not for pc

Really cheap. But sync function on Windows is unusable. Manual download from website has a speed limit of 1MB/s.

The only way to use it is by phone. The application on android is good. I can easily upload and view media. But what I want is a cloud storage for computer. So I can only give a 2 star.

I thought big name ASUS would provide…

I thought big name ASUS would provide reasonable service. That's a big mistake. ASUS Webstorage does not respond to support email at all. I can login my account but their WebStorage suddenly can not login anymore. Make the storage useless and their support does not respond the email request for support at all. Of cause they don't provide phone support.
Don't fooled by ASUS name. Don't waste your money on buying their storage service. It's worth ZERO after you paid.

Just updated to two TB of more storage

Just updated to two TB of more storage. I try and log in and I can’t now! I’ve changed passwords and everything and still can’t log in on my laptop period. Now what? I have tried to contact them to no avail… so they will charge me monthly for storage I can’t even use? I can’t back up my pc or anything. Omg. People make me sick!!!!! HELP!

The absolute worst of experiences

The absolute worst of experiences, don't use it.
Literally lost many files! They are visible with file size but no longer accessible. Site brakes down repeatedly. Up- and download lasts eternities.

Daily promotions from Asus.

Well, I'm relieved I checked out the reviews before parting with my hard-earned, this is exactly what trustpilot is for. I've been getting almost daily messages from Asus trying to get me to sign up for this service, was about to do it too!! Thanks, TP.

"Free"storage? You've got to be joking!!

After purchasing an Asus device in 2019 (with which, I should add, I have absolutely NO complaints), I was offered 'free' web storage as part of the deal. It all seemed a bit too good to be true, but I took up the offer and created an account. I was very suspicious of the entire infrastructure - some ongoing problems were never answered nor dealt with, and I made sure that nothing of importance was saved in the Asus server. For over two years, I would get regular emails 'kindly' advising me I had 1TB of storage that didn't expire until 2119. Yep - 100 years! Imagine my concern, then, when a couple of weeks ago - and completely out of the blue - I got an email telling me that I had used 'twice my allocated amount of storage space of 5GB' and if I didn't reduce it, ALL my files (some 11GB) would be deleted. What? 1TB one day - 5GB the next. No advice. No remorse - "sorry we made a mistake". Just a thinly disguised threat. Sent three emails asking 'what and why'? No answers. Nothing. Pulled all the files off the server (I had them copied, anyway); removed the system app, and be assured I will NEVER again use such a crap system! And I'd advise anyone else thinking about it - just don't! Run a million miles from it! Appalling service!

128kbps Upload / Download

Avoid like the plague. The upload and download bandwidth they 'promise' is 2x 56k speed. Anyone remember 56k? None of this is obvious prior to purchase of course.

Its basically unusable for even photo storage with those speeds.
