This is so bad. Why do I still use it? It has only worked intermittently at best. The only reason I continue is I have 2 laptops which I want to keep synched but I also back them up using a profession... See more

I cannot contact anyone either by phone…
I cannot contact anyone either by phone or on the internet. Their so called "Lucy" chat is none functional. I was told I had a year of 1tb and now get an offer for 50GB for one year. I went into their website to see the backup so far and nothing is there. Seems to be a total sham so far.
Performace & Customer Service -> 0 star
I hope I can give 0 star!!! Asus webstorage has very poor upload performance. So I didn't bother to check download speed. Bad performance is complemented by useless customer service which same with their download speed cannot respond immediately to queries. I applied for refund and now almost 1 month still not processed.
Beware! ASUS WebStorage is useless
I upgraded to a larger storage area
I upgraded to a larger storage area, but it is not recognized even after I paid for it. The trouble started when I tried to change my email address - it didn't work and since then I have been treated as a new user. I finally downloaded everything I had there.
Nowhere near what I expected
IMHO this is nowhere near what it should be. I'm testing and used my Calibre Library as the source on my PC, it is almost 30GB in size. The first issue I see is that it is placing a copy of the upload on my "C" drive. For me, the "C" drive is for applications only not data storage. I don't see how I can move this to a drive where I have a LOT of space. Also, the upload on my 300 MB fiber service is MUCH slower than I expected. Currently, the test has been running almost 30 minutes and only 52MB has been uploaded.
My recommendation is a resounding NO!
very slow download
I was offered 1TB for a month for free. Uploading 10GB took well over 3 hours (i didn't time it) which from a portable device means you need to be on a home WiFi. when the free month came to an end they offered me 1TB £10 for a year, but downloading the same 10GB took a lot longer @<300kbps.
Price was great.....
Price was great.....
The rest is terrible.....
Interface is useless.
Upload or download it didn't matter both dropped out too often so it had to start again and let's face it files and especially backups are getting larger so in summary TOTALLY USELESS.
Nul, 😔😟
No ! Not only the storage is low ..... but in addition it would pay while we use our data! Here we want to make me pay 11 € 29 for 1 year storage 😰😡 I dream !!!! I bought a cell phone Asus, this device has never worked and I was galley to enjoy the warranty ...... that I could not use ...... suddenly I lost 150 € thanks Asus !!!! Big disappointment Asus is not up to it! 😔
Nul !

Offering remote drives with speed 355…
Offering remote drives with speed 355 KB/s is beyond imagination in XXI century . Are these people serious or joking ? This the question .
My download speed 22 MB/s and upload 5MB/s .
A good choice for personal use
Using this since I bought my first Asus tablet long time ago and got a paid plan since last year and just renewed for next year, I had no serious upload issues and accessed my file from everywhere easily, using on my phone and tablet now, if it's not the best its good to use, surprised when read negative reviews.
This is the wish.com Chinese knockoff…
This is the wish.com Chinese knockoff of Dropbox.
Login is flaky, it might store your login with or without dots. Sync fails constantly. Download from website fails regularly. Speeds are mad slow. It took a week to sync my folders. Backup doesn't work at all.
Their support got back to le fairly quickly though!
Not worth the money. Buy IDrive or something instead. I just grabbed Dropbox. 10x price, 10x reliability.
Not practical nor reliable for uploading
It is not efficient to upload many files at once. I tried many times, but it stops suddenly and says several files couldn't be uploaded, so you need to upload them again.
When you want to upload about 60.000 files or more, you need another platform, but not Asus WebStorage. They have to improve the service, and the App, intensively. Thanks
Avoid this cloud
Ok, they give me good price (I suggest due they recent security problems), 1 TB/Year for 20$ or smthg like that (no type error).
So I started using.
1) constatnt connection problems with server throught ASUS webstorage app on Windows 10 (100/100 Mbits Up/Down)
2) remote drive app has the same connection issues
3) confusing controls of Webstorage App
4) only thing that seems to work correctly is webstorage on their pages
Asus sells good computers but its webstorage is hopeless
I was very satisfied of the performance of my ASUS laptop and decided to give a go at Asus special offer for webstorage. Having tried it out I thouroughly agree with the other comments. The price was too good to be true and indeed it was not true. Totally useless not only because of the poor upload speed but also because synchronisation with the cloud keeps stopping after a few minutes. After weeks trying to upload my files in the webstorage and relaunching synchronisation everytime it stopped I only managed to upload 3 Go of data. Asus webstorage is cheap but useless, don't waste your money...
Paid for the service
Paid for the service. All the data Lost One month later.
Unusable for anything in Germany…
Unusable for anything in Germany (probably in Europe). The speedlimit of 100kb is not the only problem. If it would be consistent I might be able to live with it, but it acts more like this: 90kb/s for 3 seconds then 0kb/s for 2 seconds ... repeat.
Just absolutely useless for pretty much everything. Also, the only place where I could find any info about the speed limit was in some forums. No word about it during the purchase of the service.
Proven again: If the price is too good to be true, it probably isn't.
The worst cloud that I could ever have
The worst cloud that I could ever have! So slow, buggy and stupid. The worst customer service ever! They didn't even reply to my emails after so many times.
100KB UPLOAD SPEED
100KB UPLOAD SPEED
I ASKED FOR A REFUND AND THEY DON'T WANT TO REFUND ME.
I CAN NOT USE IT IN EUROPE.
Poooor Routing In Europe
It is useless in Europe, I get a max of 300 Kbps when transfering to the server.
Thats not acceptable!
