I wouldn’t even give one star but it’s required.

I’m aware that ATS Euromaster is winding down UK operations on 1 May 2026, and based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding any associated businesses—especially where the same people may be involved.

My vehicle was serviced on 2nd February 2026, yet I didn’t receive the service report until four days later—and it showed no advisories regarding oil or engine condition. Just 10 days later (after around 200 miles), a warning appeared telling me to check the oil.

I immediately bought 1L of oil from Halfords, store, where staff also observed that the oil level was very low, dry dipstick and in an abnormal condition (creamy residue under the oil cap).

I took the car straight back to ATS and explained everything. Shockingly, no proper checks were carried out—not even the oil level. I was told to return the next day and was not warned that the vehicle might be unsafe to drive. This was incorrect and negligent advice. Confirmed by other mechanics and even a quick google search.

When I got home, I discovered oil and a creamy substance all over my driveway.

Having lost confidence in ATS, I arranged recovery through Green Flag to an independent garage. They identified the cause as a mangled washer due to excessive torque and a split sump—clear physical evidence of improper servicing.

Despite this, ATS has refused to accept liability. I have photos, receipts, and full evidence. They falsely claim I didn’t return the vehicle—I did return it on 12th February but could not safely drive it back the next day.

ATS later inspected the vehicle at the independent garage without informing me and produced an implausible explanation suggesting another garage - perhaps Halfords caused the issue (it was a Store not a garage). Also, the problem occurred before being recovered to the independent garage.

What’s most concerning is not just the failure, but the complete lack of accountability. Their responses are full of “ifs” and “maybes,” with no credible explanation for the damage.

Communication has been extremely poor throughout: unanswered calls, being left listening to office chatter, and emails that ignore key evidence.

I escalated this to the CEO. The response was passed to a Regional Manager and then an Operations Manager, both of whom provided wholly inadequate replies and completely ignoring facts.

They appear to be delaying responsibility ahead of their closure date. I’ve been offered £700—less than half the repair cost—despite likely engine damage (head gasket failure indicated by the creamy residue). I’ve now been without a vehicle for six weeks, which has had a serious impact on my daily life!

Embarrassingly unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. Shocking!

Fab, professional service!

Our daughter dropped her car in for two new tyres but forgot to pass on our instructions as to which tyres to replace. Having clocked this, I called 40mins after her booking time (from 200 miles away) hoping I might be able sort it. I need not have worried. The guys had already identified the worst pair, shuffled one from front to back and fitted the new pair on the front - just as I would have asked. Fab, professional service! Thank you.

Staff very helpful with the booking…

Staff very helpful with the booking which I needed to reschedule.
On arrival got on with the work straight away (even though I was 30min early).

Poor customer service Euromaster Caldicot

Euromaster Caldicot, really bad service, first we have booked to replace two tyres with mobile service replacement and they confirmed the appointment for 29th December, after this they call back to inform that they need postpone it for 2nd January, we tried then to book to replace 4 tyres instead 2 initially booked and we had to cancel the original appointment because apparently can't not be added two extra on top and waiting one week for the refund, but the bad service continue, we rebooked to replace 4 tyres in Caldicot, this time we decided request the morning off and travel there ,was booked for 30th at 12:30 and they called at 9:30 to postpone the appointment for January 6th. Really unprofessional service, we have lost a day at work because they didn't inform us with time .

Welcoming efficient MOT centre

Was given a good welcome, advised a probable time for the work to be completed and advice on local attractions to fill the time. My only criticism was that the car failed due to tyre damage, and it would have been better for them to tell me that before failing the car given I was getting the MOT done at a tyre depot. I did buy a new tyre and this was fitted quickly and the car then passed.

I had a deeply disappointing experience…

I had a deeply disappointing experience with Blackcircles and ATS Euromaster, a Blackcircles partner, after purchasing a new set of tyres through Blackcircles. The tyres were fitted at ATS Euromaster, and immediately after driving away, we encountered a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) fault. This issue was not present before the tyre fitting and had never occurred before this visit, making it highly suspicious that it only appeared after ATS worked on the wheels.

We promptly contacted both ATS Euromaster and Blackcircles to report the issue. While Blackcircle’s support was responsive and polite, their responses led to no resolution, just empty promises and no accountability. ATS Euromaster was equally unhelpful, deflecting responsibility and instructing us to deal solely with Blackcircles. This blatant passing of the buck was frustrating and unprofessional.

It’s far too coincidental that the TPMS fault emerged immediately after ATS handled the wheels, strongly suggesting their work caused the issue. Their refusal to take responsibility and the complete lack of accountability from both companies are shameful. As a result, we’re now forced to pay out of our pocket to fix a problem that ATS likely caused. This is unacceptable customer service, and I would strongly advise others to avoid ATS Euromaster and reconsider using Blackcircle’s services all along.

UPDATE: As this can't get any worse, today I have received a further update from the Blackircles stating the following 'As discussed with the garage, they advised the TPMS light was previously on before the fitting.' This is an outright lie, and I am utterly appalled by the blatant falsehood in the statement. The TPMS light has never illuminated, or the error appeared during the entire time we have owned the vehicle. It only appeared immediately after ATS fitted the new tyres, which strongly suggests their mishandling or manipulation of the wheels during the tyre change directly caused the issue. Such deceptive claims are unacceptable and reflect a shocking lack of integrity of both Blackcircles and ATS Euromaster.

Shambles

Booked an MOT - driven all the way there from the other side of wales after having a cancelled appointment from another ATS to arrive at this one to say their MOT centre is not working and hasn’t been for weeks. Not one call to let me know. Absolute nightmare. No care or consideration for disabled people. Customer services are awful. Please stay away from this terrible company.
