Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a garage – ATS Eastleigh should be ashamed of how they treat customers.

I dropped my car off on 10th February, clearly explaining that I would be abroad for 10 days and needed them to identify why my car failed its MOT at another garage. They booked the inspection for the following Monday and promised they would call me with a quote and a plan to fix it so it could pass a new MOT.
No one called.
I spent all of Tuesday calling them – no answer.
I spent all of Wednesday calling them – still no answer.
When someone finally picked up, they told me the car was “on the ramp” and they would call me back within an hour.
They never did.
I spent the entire week trying to get updates, and they simply ignored every call. In the end, I had to ask my girlfriend to go there in person on Friday to tell them that if they couldn’t fix the car by the end of the week, I would take it elsewhere. Only then did they suddenly call me back and promise the car would be fixed by Friday.
They also told my girlfriend that they don’t do MOTs, which is ridiculous because they had already agreed to handle the MOT for me. I honestly wonder if they said that because she isn’t English and doesn’t speak fluently. Completely unacceptable behaviour.
Five minutes before closing time on Friday, they finally called to say my car needed new brakes, pads, and callipers, and that it would cost around £1,000 because my car supposedly uses “special callipers”.
This was a lie. I checked with multiple garages and every single one confirmed that my car uses standard callipers.
I agreed to the repair ONLY if the car would be ready on Monday.
They promised again.
Another lie.
On Monday evening they called to say they had ordered the wrong callipers and needed more time. At that point I had enough. I told them not to touch my car anymore and that I would come to collect it.
When I arrived – frustrated, tired, and fed up – they suddenly “discovered” that my car didn’t need callipers at all, only discs and pads. So after nearly two weeks of being ignored, lied to, and messed around, they admitted the huge £1,000 repair they pushed on me was unnecessary. It felt like a clear attempt to scam me, and again I can’t help but wonder if they thought they could get away with it because I’m not English.
To top it all off, they told me they would do the MOT for free as compensation for the delays and mistakes. I agreed.
I paid £300 for the discs and pads… only to find out they charged me £55 for the MOT anyway.
Unbelievable.
Their behaviour was extremely unprofessional from start to finish.
No communication.
No honesty.
No apology.
No compensation.
Just 13 days of stress, wasted time, extra transport costs, and being treated with complete disrespect.
I had to wake up at 5am for two days to get to work because they kept my car for no reason. And after all that, they still couldn’t even keep their word about a free MOT.
This was genuinely the worst garage experience I have ever had, and I strongly advise anyone in Eastleigh to avoid ATS at all costs. They wasted my time, tried to overcharge me, ignored my calls, lied repeatedly, and treated both me and my girlfriend with zero respect.

Never again.

Nitrogen was used and charged for without asking. Twice ATS were to ring me and didn’t. I was told a price over the phone and it increased when I dropped the car in.

Recently had a tyre replaced. Good service from Luke. Would recommend this place. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great customer service, air con nice & cold again and they done a free vehicle check which I didn't know was included which was good as my MOT is soon so was helpful. Would highly recommend

Bit of a last minute purchase from Groupon when I realise my car was actually blowing warm cool air, so was please to get it done the next day after buying, now I have a very chilly car, they also helped with putting new nitrogen in my tyres, so was very grateful 😊😊😊

Unfortunately, one of the Aircon re-gas equipment broke without warning and the other one was in use. I had to wait almost 3 hours for my car to be dealt with which was twice as long as planned, so naturally disappointed.

Fast and efficient service. Waited for the MOT to be completed in a cafe adjacent which was also a plus, as it served good coffee. The MOT identified a nail in one tire, which they removed without need for further repair.

Quick changeover if winter to summer tyres and identified a required split CV boot.

Managed to find matching tyres to my Ford Galaxy and fitted within 2 days good service
